Seven Something Sentence Sunday

Here's a little something I tapped out today, it's meant to be part of a 5+1 fic I'm attempting and this was the first scene that my brain decided it wanted to try 😁

Definitely more than seven sentences, but I'm a rule breaker! 💪😤

Loki scrubs at his hair with the towel, feeling the rest of the cold water clinging to his skin sliding uncomfortably down the line of his spine. He'd already peeled his sopping wet shirt and tie off the moment they had stepped foot back in the locker rooms, hating the feeling of it clinging to his skin.

Ordinarily he would have dried himself before they'd returned from the timeline, but the sudden downpour had caught them all by surprise, and the timedoors were open and being stepped through before Loki had the chance to do much of anything.

With a sigh, he lets the towel slip down to lay around his shoulders, opening his locker and rummaging around for something clean and dry to put on.

Beside him there's a small thump, the mutterings of a ‘dammit’ and a similar sigh to his own. Loki smiles fondly as he listens to his friend struggle to get out of his armor, peeking around the open door of his locker with an amused grin.

“Having trouble?” He quips, prompting his partner to turn and glare at him. Mobius’ hair is still dripping wet, plastered to his frowning brow as he struggles against his rain soaked clothes. His own towel lays discarded on the nearby bench as he fumbles to reach for a buckle under his arm, clothing squeaking in the otherwise empty locker room. Loki chuckles as Mobius’ wet fingers slide uselessly over the clasp for the fourth time.

“Stop laughing and help me out, would'ya?” With a fake roll of his eyes, Loki steps up behind him with hands outstretched to assist. A smile still pulls at his lips and something warm and familiar settles in his chest, despite the cold chill of his still damp skin.

Ohhhh the irony of how Sylvie mocked how Mobius uses pie to lighten the stressed mood and accused him of not caring about the branches....vs Loki using pie to calm him down and make him feel better about his outburst because Loki understands him and his coping mechanisms

[Headcanon] Loki refuses to call things by thier proper names, and It drives Mobius Insane

Loki knows what things are called. He just deliberately refuses to say them correctly.

Jet skis? “Your primitive sea chariots.”

TV remotes? “The feeble sorcerer’s wand.”

Microwaves? “A box of searing radiation.”

Seatbelts? “Shackles of oppression.”

Mobius corrects him every single time.

Mobius: Loki, just call it a jet ski.

Loki: I did.

Mobius: No, you didn’t.

Mobius has aged ten years from this alone.

It's so funny to me how season one Lokius shippers went: Oh I love how an all powerful god has a crush on just this guy. This random man.

And then some people were like NO! Mobius is going to be a watcher or a he who remains variant or x,y,z important person.

And season two rolls around: Oh look at them, just a human man and a diety.

And AGAIN people go: NO! Mobius is going to be thor or odin or balder.

But in the end...He did end up being just a guy. A random SINGLE dad selling jetskies.

B 15 being a doctor?? and her being so soft and kind to that kid?? I love her, she's the best, 10/10 expected but happy

O.B. being a failed writer but also an intelliget physicist working in Caltech is AMAZING, ties in greatly with his character

MOBIUS BEING A SINGLE DAD AAAAAHHHHH HE'S SO SWEET AND KIND AND SOFT WITH HIS BOYS, LOVES HIS DEAD WIFE DESPITE HAVING MOVED ON, KIND TO LITERALLY EVERYONE ONCE AGAIN, EVEN TO LOKI WHO HE JUST MET. I'M SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP FALLING TO THE GROUND ROLLING ON THE FLOOR
