i tried to respond to this 4 times and i lost all my text and almost cried so im gonna make this much shorter than it was supposed to be (8 paragraphs) 😞 PROBABLY A RELIEF FOR MOST OF U THO LOL i have too many headcanons but here are some of my headcanons and /or “perfect world” scenarios for mlp g4 :)

i cant put all of my hcs here but im gonna put the ones i tell most ppl !!! ALSO NOT ALL OF THESE ARE IN THE SAME UNIVERSE!!! (if anybody wants more, ask me something specific .. >:3 nyeheh)

💜 - the mane six minus twilight have all been friends their whole lives, but not as a friend group until twilight came along!!

🩵 - branching off of the last one, rarity has made outfits for ALL of the ponies before !! but pinkie pie has been by far her most loyal customer because yk she throws parties like triweekly !! rarity mostly specializes in dressmaking but can also make other types of stuff . :) pinkie pie and fluttershy both seperately have taken some sewing classes from rarity cuz they alwayss loved her stuff :)

💛 - fluttershy runs/works a petshop/veterinarian clinic

💖 - at some point , pinkie pie moves out of sugarcube corner and runs her own nightclub !! (but like its not a naughty club, this is ponyville we are talking about here !! just lots of candy and soda and DANCING AND GAMES :3) and pinkie pie would be the funnest momma evr >w<

💙 - rainbow dash becomes a coach for the wonderbolts / some sort of coach :)

🧡 - applejack would grow up and continue to just run her family business and have a family of her own !! applejack would be a very caring mother but also she wouldnt take shit from anypony!! if anybody bullied her kid she’d have to try so hard not to kick anypony that bothers her and her kids

🩵 - rarity never expands her business or gets big, but she’s happy with it! her store is independent and a gem that many talk about all around the nation. :) she would be a fun mom but she would spoil the kid a lot lolz

💜 - twilight works at a school as a science/math/magic teacher, book author or a librarian! she would be a pretty average mom IN THE NICEST WAY POSSIBLE just saying she’s just your average girl!! but she has lots of knowledge to share :3 !!

-mane six all are alicornized. you cant just give the order keepers of the nation some fancy crystals and tell them to go on with their day while one friend who happened to be a rich unicorn who went to a unicorn school and got hit with a rainbow beam turns into a goddess and you have to watch her outlive you, you make them all goddesses or none of them. especially if the gifted unicorn never asked to be alicornized.

- twilight and cadenza rule together. cadence was done so dirty :( she was given goddess powers just to be sent to a Far Off Land and the Twilight was favored to just RULE A WHOLE NATION ALONE. insanity. also they have been friends / chosen sisters for the longest time. this scenario would not only give cadence a better storyline, but also spit in the faces of “theres already 5 alicorns” ❗️

Some people on reddit, when HCs are usually accepted even if they defy canon, were genuinely offended by my HCs saying things like they rubbed them the wrong way, that it was problematic, that the characters "100% mostly had confirmed identities", and that I was "erasing" Delilah and Jewel's black and Puerto Rican identities.

I don't know about Delilah, but INDONESIANS ARE POC NOT WHITE. And I had these ideas before MGA said anything about the, (I admit I should have been clear about that) and I called them all out on their behaviour, because while I don't think they meant harm, they are accusing me of meaning harm as if I didn't include any POC HCs. And HCs in other fandoms usually get praise. And they defy canon all the time (Just look at several Monster High ones or MLP where they always erase the Canadian part, calling them "Race-American").

And people are spreading it all over the reddit to dump me.

So a while ago I thought "hey it would be really badass if I designed a set of next generation FAST crew members!" And I drew them, made a few voice headcanons and abandoned them to rot in draft purgatory. Well, recently since I've been to Turbo again and I decided to redraw them.

Since I like rambling about OCs I'll fill you in on my ideas for the characters, which is under the cut.

Also: they're known as the "FASTR" crew the 'R' standing for "Rookies"

Nitro

- voice hc: Rainbow Dash (MLP g4)

- 14 (in human years ofc) she/her

- 'new kid' of the crew and the self proclaimed leader.

- a bit full of herself, and as such a bit of a moron. She's also a bit "boy crazy"

- neice of both Chet and Turbo, as she is the child of a third, unseen sibling of theirs. She was shipped out to Turbo Town for the summer Gravity Falls style.

- Turbo's racing understudy

Slique

- voice hc: Tails (snapcube dub)

- 17, he/they

- the "sheepdog" of the group, being the one to try and talk the others (usually Nitro) out of potentially dangerous situation. Usually they are unsuccessful.

- the dorky theatre kid type, tending to be introverted and reasonable. He should probably be the actual leader but they won't step up to it.

- the only direct descendant of the FAST crew, Smoove being his dad therefore, Slique's full name is "Slique Moove"

- as such, they are Smoove's racing understudy.

- voice hc: Lisa Loud (the loud house)

- 9, she/her

- the "child genius" who often uses her crewmates as lab rats for her experiments that often have ironic side effects.

- kind of evil, being bent on world dominion, but noone seems to see this, treating her as any other young snail with an over active imagination.

-the "backbone" of the group. he is the only thing keeping the other three together.

-really friendly, is always willing to help others even if they actually don't want his help

forgive me this is 100% projection but i want to see a scenario where she starts getting pain in her wings after being in the wonderbolts for a while & using her wings so heavily and intensely all the time. and shed have to deal with that and come to terms with it and what that means. I am nothing if not self indulgent

Idk if this is unpopular but i really wish the show had let her (or anyone) be more masculine. Like they always put everyone in dresses and stuff!! I really would have liked to see her in. idk a suit or smthn and have shorter hair and just show kids its ok to want to be that way

i heard mlp’s ending soon so i felt like i gotta finally post these redesigns with a bunch of random hcs underneath the read more-

Luna - mane has been changed into the one she originally had during her very first appearance as symbol of another difference between her and her sister that could've been a possible insecurity Nightmare Moon preyed on - the chance she's less powerful than Celestia. Though she does get neat star freckles as her manifestation. Could also possibly be another reason Celestia took interest in Twilight who also was given star markings? Has a long straight horn again that gives her an advantage over complex magic, something very useful with channeling enough power to raise the moon and travel through ponies' dreams. Wings are larger, perfect for silently gliding about 

Applejack - though small compared to Posey (fluttershy), she's made mostly of muscles and could still probably kick a boulder in half. Doesn't care much for her manestyle so usually just pulls it into a ponytail along with her actual tail, which is keep short for bucking. Otherwise she's the one that's probably had the least changed to her, she's a good gal

Pinkie Pie - her parents were a Pegasus and an Earth Pony so her wings ended up being a bit too small to do more than hold her up in place for several seconds or gliding but she doesn't let that stop her! Honestly she just mostly uses them for pushing things away or putting more ump into her jumps when she's traveling around Ponyville. She doesn't have to worry any about mane and tail logistics when flying since it doesn't really interest her much so she's fine with letting it grow out

Rarity - still has a long mane but usually keeps it tied up whenever she has a project or just generally feels too busy to take the time she does to prepare it when its let down. not to say that that means she doesn't take at least half an hour making sure her bun is perfect but it's less time than when she doesn't put it up. curved horn gives her a disadvantage at more complex magic (like activation of starlight's time travel spell) but is seen as beautiful in unicorn culture so she doesn't really mind the shape. takes pride in her white coat since it's harder to keep a shiny look with it than it is compared to other colors. also would have more knowledge about rocks and gems to relate to her cutie mark

Rainbow Dash - like twilight, her larger wings give her more of an advantage in gaining lift and such as well as keeping her in the air. due to both her wings and intensive self training, she can easily fly long distances that would tire out other pegasi. keeps her mane short just to keep it out of her eyes when flying though still likes to keep her tail long since she thinks it looks cool when she's in flight. most pegasi are pretty small compared to other ponies but she's very much mostly muscle, mostly around her shoulder blades and back legs from kicking off land

Posey - tbh i just like gentle giant aesthetics and the idea of fluttershy being an earth pony that'd also tie in being earth-attuned into earth ponies since compared to the other races they don't get much advantages to them. still keeps her long mane and tail both to hide from others and because her animal friends enjoy playing with the strands. Doesn't really give much attention to her mane and coat besides not looking horrible so if someone were to use a brush on it, itd likely get stuck. Despite her size, she isn't actually that strong and often trips over things

Twilight - star shaped markings are result of manifestation of her magic along her coat. long straight horn gives her a natural advantage in more complex magics. due to being born as a unicorn, she would have more trouble with doing tricks that born pegasi can easily do but her large wings give her the benefit of advantage in gaining lift and such. basically she's best as a practical flyer instead of a for-show one
