It’s a CGI Nickelodeon show that gradually introduces you to the Star Trek universe in a gentle way through colorful characters and crazy sci-fi exploits! When a bunch of alien kids enslaved on a mining asteroid stumble upon a Federation Starship, they band together and use the ship to escape their captors. With the help of a holographic mentor, the crew of alien kids learn to work together and become a family. Along the way there’s time traveling shenanigans, deadly alien planets, devious aliens, and an underlying mystery about the ship and how it got stuck on in the mining asteroid to begin with!

Please please PLEASE take a look! It’s such s good show with great writing and easily fills the void we’re in for new animated shows! I promise you, it’s worth the time to check it out!

Greetings! I didn't know posts could have titles and couldn't think of anythi-

I'm Xavier Bronze (she/her). I'm plural, polyamorous, and frequently autistically hyperfixate on nerd shit. Early in my existence my headmate helped me write a superhero self-insert fanfic, and it made the choice to cross company lines, including characters and plot elements from not just Marvel, but DC, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Indiana Jones, and others all at the same time.

This is probably where it started, bc now, with certain aesthetics and genre conventions my cognition just kinda does crossovers on its own by default. It actively takes effort for me to remember that certain characters don't exist in the same universe. And for the past couple of years I've started formalizing and codifying this broad-reaching "headcanon world". Here I'm thinking about calling it BronzeRealms, for better SEO and tagging.

Since becoming a codified continuity of its own, the BronzeRealms have only grown. Significantly. Now I have a rough timeline spanning from the Age of Myth roughly three millennia ago all the way to the 41st century. Comicbook superheroes are still here, with a greatest hits grab bag of character versions and lore taken from various adaptions, reboots, and retcons over the decades.

But now the superheroes of today find themselves in conversation and lineage with great warriors of centuries past like Kratos, Xena, and the slave uprising who expelled the Goa'uld System Lords from Egypt, and with the steadfast and resourceful Captains and soldiers of the future, John Connor, Gordon Freeman, Finn the Human, John Sheridan, Ellen Ripley, the Reds and Blues of Blood Gulch, and Benjamin Sisko. Their contemporaries have broadened too. Godzilla, Dominic Toretto, Hellboy, Kim Possible, Ladybug & Cat Noire, UNIT, Sora, The Addams Family, and the Autobots. This is very, very far from a comprehensive list. I have dipped my toe into making a list of source works that the BronzeRealms draws elements from to include, and the table of contents alone is over two pages at this point.

I am fully aware that the scope of this worldbuilding has exceeded all reason, and any chance of ever being fleshed out into any kind of story that could encompass it all. It would take multiple lifetimes just to write 5k word mini fics for every character, event, and time period I've defined lore for. I might put a microfic out once in a while but this is fully worldbuilding for its own sake, for fun!

And I've been talking my friends' ears off about this for years now so I came to this website seeking fresh infodumping victims, lol. And to do more ongoing brainstorming. This isn't a finished product, and never will be, so you should just have fun with it too <3

The Turncoat Tournament!

This is a tournament for characters who have changed sides at some point in the story. It can be from good to bad, bad to good, or from one morally ambiguous side to a different morally ambiguous side, as long as the change in allegiance is still clear. Characters can change sides multiple times, and ultimately end up returning to their original side, and still qualify for the tournament!

Due to the subject of the tournament itself being inherently spoiler-y, I will by default not be tagging posts with spoiler warnings. My parents were hippie nerds who watched the original. So I watched the vhs's of the original and Star Trek The Next Generation with them, and watched Deep Space Nine on tv. There's episodes with lots of complex thought and direction put into them. Then there's episodes where an alien gets an ear job (like a hand job but on his ears 🤪) or where someone turns into a salamander because they went REAL fast. One day while I was super sick my spouse asked me what I wanted to watch - I said a specific episode of Star Trek (one where the autistic coded android has a day off and wants to use the big computer to play sherlock holmes) its a fun and silly episode with a bit of serious rumination on conciousness and what defines life. This got my spouse hooked in it :3 (especially as they saw themselves in the android character). Quite literally no one isndoing it quite like Star trek!

I love how strong and passionate the star trek fandom is. It actually makes me want to watch the show. Like why are there so many of y'all? Why have you been here for *so* long? There must be a reason and the answers must be in the show

Everyone's favorite boss with a heart of gold, this 39yo repressed hottie could flirt like a pro. My favorite thing about him is that he experienced utterly transformative character growth without having to experience severe pain (a breakup, a loved one's death, job loss, rejection, etc). He just looked at where he was standing and... stepped left.

Kakeru (I Cannot Reach You)

My boy learned his childhood bestie had a crush on him and did not flee in terror. Instead he faced it and asked for patience and examined his feelings and treated the potential change in their relationship as seriously as it deserved to be treated because the request came from someone he loved. Clearly, this is a boy who knows how to spell R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Wei Qian (Unknown)

He stepped up and raised his younger sibling when their druggie mother died, then added an adoptee into the mix. And he cared for them so profoundly that they had relatively normal childhoods despite being orphans. Yet this softie was tough enough to be a gang enforcer, and then smart enough to get a college degree, and then competent enough to co-create a successful startup. Like what kind of super hero bullshit is he on?

Karan (Cherry Magic, Thailand)

A competent and talented employee, and he's a total simp who looks great in or out of a suit? Sign me up for his tender loving care, y'all. I literally melted into a puddle of goo every time we saw a glimpse of his very earnest yet sweet fantasies. He just wants to take care of his boo!

Iwanaga (Love Is Better The Second Time Around)

I confess he's here mostly because he's eye candy. (Well that and recency bias, because if we're really talking about my favorite eye candy, it'd be Porsche from Kinnporsche without a second's hesitation.) But roll with me here, please? Yeto is a large yeti who likes fishing, forgetting his inside voice, and making soup. What does he love? HIS WIFE! Yeta is a sickly yeti who finds herself worshipping a cursed mirror shard. What does she love? HER HUSBAND! These two are the entire narrative behind the ice manor, as Link tries to get into the bedroom but ends up just finding a bunch of soup ingredients (it’s good soup though). Yeta ends up transforming into the boss, but once she’s beaten, Yeto tosses Link aside to check on her. He says she doesn’t need the mirror shard to see how pretty she is, as she can see herself in the reflection of his eyes. Once a boss is beaten, they’ll drop a heart container for Link. Yeta doesn’t do that, and instead she and Yeto spawn one themselves (as well as dozens of smaller recovery hearts) by embracing each other. Couple goals for real.
