There's something oddly fascinating about a particular outfit that Blurryface appears in. In the sea of various dark clothes, there's one that seems to stand out from the crowd. The snow white hoodie, over a button-up and finished off by an identical white pair of trousers. A stark contrast against the charcoal black that coats the skin of their hands and neck, with the addition of ruby red swimming in their irises. This white, the color that symbolizes purity and innocence, ironically being donned by an entity that prides itself on eradicating just that.

Like a taunt, or mockery. Or even more malicious, a disguise. A wolf in sheeps clothing if you will. A perfect fit to appear to introduce itself in, if they were to try to slide their way into your psyche. At your lowest moment, the perfect time to strike. When your vision is too blurred by the overwhelming rush of tears in the midst of a panic attack, you'll be more likely to miss the inky black of their hands as they take you in, brushing your hair or rubbing circles on your back to soothe your anxiety. An anxiety they'd never admit was amplified by their infestation that they already started in your mind. You can only take in the comforting, safety of the white hoodie you'd cry into. You'll develop a trust with your new, otherworldly friend before you could correlate the red eyes and shadows with anything malevolent.

After all, how can they be dangerous? With how they keep you company, when your friends slowly begin to fade from your life, or how they're willing to stay and listen to you spill your flaws and downfalls to them. They do it because they care..

A friend. An odd, eerie even, shadowed friend. They have your best interest in mind. So when they suggest relieving your stress with a razor blade, or satiate your anxiety by encouraging you to stay home, away from the terrifying world, you can assure its from a place of support.

you settled into your desk chair, eager to see what anecdote seungmin has chosen for you today. it was always a thrill to get a peek into his daily life, and it was especially entertaining when he removed context from the situation to make you laugh. over the years, he developed a knack for telling stories just the way you liked them. 

we went shopping today, in that area that always smells like ice cream cone batter. i bought a cool phone case. you better compliment me on it when we meet. i know it’s only ten days away, but i encourage you to put a reminder on your calendar, so you don’t forget to appreciate my taste in accessories.

you scoffed. he was always extra sassy when he was excited about something. you tapped your pen against your desk, devising the perfect reply to seungmin’s daily update.

not even 30 seconds passed when you saw seungmin’s handwriting appear near the bottom of the sticky note. you smiled, feeling his playful energy infect you.

you smiled at the tiny heart seungmin drew in the bottom corner of the page before you peeled the sticky note off the stack. electricity ran through you every time you noticed how much it shrank. soon, very soon, you would be teased by seungmin in person. you hoped that you’d deliver the perfect eye roll in response to his snarky comments, as a way to show him you truly loved him.

staring at the note, seungmin laughed at his desk, right when felix walked by.

“what’d y/n say?”

“none of your business.”

despite the nature of the retort, seungmin’s tone was lighthearted. felix laughed and left seungmin alone to place the completed sticky note in his not-so-secret box, where he kept every word you’ve ever exchanged safe from the rest of the world.

you smiled to yourself, feeling in your heart that seungmin would start his day off happy, as you finally gave him the greeting he’d been waiting for.

from the second he read your note, seungmin couldn’t wipe the smile from his face. everyone noticed the way he beamed, so it didn’t take long for them to put together that he’d be meeting you today. his members were painfully obvious about trying to catch a glimpse of you wherever they went. seungmin was in such a good mood that he didn’t even tease them that much. 

realizing that the live show recording was almost definitely where you’d meet, seungmin noticed that his palms were sweatier than normal. he shook them out, taking deep breaths to calm his heart rate. this may not have been the first stage for their new song, but it was the first stage you’d be at, so the stakes were high. 

despite the nerves from the night before, you were happily enjoying yourself at the show. of course, every performance was incredible, and the crowd was energetic. by the time there was only one act left, you felt your body start to grow tired. an adrenaline rush hit you full force, however, when you saw the name “stray kids” light up the stage.

jaw dropped, you were silent while the rest of the crowd screamed. your eyes raced to find seungmin. he was on the opposite end of the stage, giving you at least a chance at composing yourself before he saw your face. the music started, and you joined the crowd’s cheers. seungmin’s stage presence and vocals in person were breathtaking, and you felt a swell of pride knowing that your soulmate was so talented.

as though he could sense you were thinking of him, seungmin turned his head to the area where you stood. the second you locked eyes, seungmin grinned like an excited puppy. he waved to you, feeling giddy enough to make a heart with his hands. you matched his energy, smiling widely and bouncing from the magic of it all. there he was, just across the room, saying “hi” to you and only you.

per the instructions seungmin mouthed from the stage, you waited in your seat for a bit until a staff member brought you backstage. despite the recording being done, the halls were crowded with bustling employees and idols alike. all of the noise was drowned out by someone calling your name.

“hey y/n! i like your outfit!”

you turned around, seeing seungmin waving again. he beamed, and you rushed over to him. 

“you remembered!”

seungmin laughed at your excitement, “i did forget my coffee though. it looks like your meet-cute won in the end.”

his eyes twinkled as he looked at you. rather than feeling nervous, you two chattered endlessly. you giggled at the way seungmin blushed when you complimented his performance. in turn, seungmin giggled at the way you blushed when he called you pretty. being able to have a conversation that exceeded the character limit of a sticky note left both of you with the zoomies, much to the entertainment of seungmin’s eavesdropping members. 

“seungmin!” hyunjin yelled from a suspiciously nearby spot, “we have to leave soon!” hyunjin waved at you, “hi y/n!”

you waved back, and seungmin told you to ignore hyunjin, which made you laugh. as you exchanged contact information, you kept your promise and examined seungmin’s phone case.

“i like your phone case, seungmin! it matches your style perfectly,” you pointed at the object in his hand.

“thank you!” seungmin grinned for the umpteenth time that day, proudly holding the phone out for you to see, “this is the best part, if you ask me.”

you were surprised to see a sticky note in the back of his phone case. you leaned closer to examine it, and you felt a wave of fondness wash over you. in his hand, seungmin held one of your earliest sticky notes. on it, you had drawn a picture of what you thought seungmin looked like, purely based on how he wrote. you were way off, which you learned once you saw a picture of him online. it did accurately capture seungmin’s personality, though, so seungmin was quite proud of your artistry. 

“it’s a one-of-a-kind drawing, so i wanted to show it off.”

seungmin’s tone was teasing, but you could feel the compliment, “you’re so sweet, seungmin! maybe i should have a matching one?”

he nodded, “i better see the portrait i drew of you in your phone case next time i see you.”

you laughed, “understood! i feel chan staring at us, so you should get going. call me when you get home?”

“of course!” seungmin smiled, “promise me one more thing?”

“hmm,” you feigned deep thought, “it depends on what it is.”

“next time you come to watch us perform, sit by my side of the stage.”

“only if i can see lee know too.”

seungmin glared at you momentarily, breaking into a laugh because he was so endeared by the pout you gave in response. after you said your goodbyes, you watched seungmin bound down the hall to meet his members. before he went around the corner, he turned to wave to you again, mouthing goodbye, soulmate!

Why Did Your Tav Fall

Here’s a fun notion I had: Let’s write about why our Tav’s fell for Astarion. We all know the thousand of reasons we all collectively love our chaotic, snarky, traumatized, adorable Vamp. But why did your Tav start to fall for him.

For mine, she was raised as Baldurian nobility in a House that valued power and saw her a pawn in their endless games and schemes. With an older sister as the heir of the house, she had a very limited future ahead of her before escaping. Her first encounters with Astarion felt like rebellion, she was free from her family but knew they would hate a man like him. She wasn’t naive enough to buy a lot of his lines, and figured he was just looking for someone to have some fun with while they traveled. 

She started catching feelings as she learned more about him. While her treatment wasn’t as severe as his, she was used to being treated like a thing, an object to be traded in marriage for someone else’s benefit. There was a certain amount of understanding she had for him. Some of the way she herself acted out in the past made it easier to not just be immediately angry with his attitude on occasion. But like her, she could see him struggle and fight for a life that was his alone, and see the person inside that he wanted to be. So she fell for that weird, sweet, sometimes still angry, often very sassy, difficult, beautiful man.

RAFAYEL!!!

Between the two of you there’s enough sassy to write the world’s longest rivals to lovers fic Jesus Christ.

Like genuinely picture this: y'all start out as two of the youngest and most popular up and coming artists on the scene.

Naturally that makes y'all rivals. Like the banter just will be flying between you out the wazoo. Sure you gotta try your best to be friendly for the cameras, but everyone can feel the sexual tension. It’s so thick you couldn’t cut it with a bloody chainsaw.

“Look who just washed up.” “Says the one who looks like the cat dragged them in” (author-san can't write clever banter to save her life please send help)

It would all come to a head during like an art gala or something like that. Neither of you wanted to go, but it was being held by a very influential art collector and you couldn’t afford to pass it up.

You get there and see each other and immediately start fighting like cats and dogs. After a while though, you two kinda stick with each other cause there’s literally no one else interesting to talk to at this party in y’all opinion.

You both bond over the fact that your managers forced you guys to be there, making fun of all the snooty rich people, and talking about the different ways you guys see art. You realize maybe the other isn’t so bad after all.

You enter the bright ballroom in a black dress suit, fluffed hair, and light makeup. Between the atmosphere and your stuffy clothes, you feel suffocated. To make matters worse you spit him at a table across from you. You lock eyes and share a silent look for a moment, but only for moment.

“Of course you’re here,” Rafayel scoffs.

“Why wouldn’t I be? Someone’s gotta remedy this atmosphere and it sure as hell isn’t gonna be you,” you reply sharing a glare with him.

You both turn your noses up at each other and walk away to go mingle. Soon you realize that everyone else at this damn party only wants to talk about money and flaunt about how rich they are. You take a seat at a table to take a break with some snacks and wine.

No way you can go through this sober.

As you begin to bite into one of the ridiculously small cupcakes someone plops their butt in the chair opposite you. Of course it’s your purple haired nemesis, who you’ve been trying to ignore all evening. You give him a look that seems to ask “what the hell do you want?”, but he flat out ignores the social cue in favor of making, albeit forced, conversation with you.

“If we were all trapped on a deserted island, who here do you think would get eaten first?” Rafayel asks.

“Huh?” You reply puzzled.

“If we were on a deserted island-”

“No I heard you, I’m just wonder what the actual fuck you’re talking about. Also why are you even here? Shouldn’t you be mingling and annoying someone else with your weird ass questions? Maybe even trying to get someone to go home with you; why are you suddenly giving me special treatment as if you don’t hate my guts?”

“Hey no fair! I asked my question first so it’s only polite that you answer”.

You roll your eyes before scanning them over the crowd. Your gaze falls upon a short round man in a bright yellow tux who seems to be sucking up to his superior. You gesture with your finger over your shoulder pointed at him, finally answering Rafayel’s questions with a nonchalant response.

“Mr. Lemon man over there. He looks like he would keep us fed for a little while and seems eager to please”.

“Smart choice. I would say people would be fighting over those yappy little purse dogs first, and then their owners,” He replies.

“And to answer your previous question, everyone here is such a pain to talk to. You can tell everyone here is lying through their teeth just to impress others and keep up appearances. At least you’re somewhat decent company and I can trust you to speak your mind.”

You flash him a sincere look before replying, “For once we agree on something,”.

“Alright my turn to ask a question,” You start but are quickly cut off.

“Bup bup bup. You already asked your question, now it’s my turn again,” Rafayel refutes.

“What that didn’t count!” You retort.

“Did too! A question is a question.”

You let out a reluctant huff, “Fine. I guess we’ve got all night to ask each other questions anyway”.

“That’s the spirit.”

You two continued this game of questions for the rest of the night and got to know each other better. Once you actually got to know him Rafayel didn't seem so bad. That night a rivalry turned into a bit of a friendship.

You started spending your art events together to make them more tolerable. Soon you guys started hanging out together outside of work.

Movie nights, restaurants, going to the park, walking on the beach. You may have still been friends, but your outings started to feel more and more romantic than platonic.

One day Rafayel invited you to see an ocean sunset with him for artistic inspiration. You guys had ice cream, played on the ocean, and walked along the beach barefoot to reach the peak of a sandy dune that he insisted was perfect for watching the sunset.

You guys sat and cuddled as you watched the sunlight aurora. He looked at you, you looked at him, and next thing you both know you guys are making out to the sunset.

“Rafayel what are we exactly?” “Well I would hope we’re dating now after having had the best kiss of my life”

And that was history.

You guys have a very teasing relationship. Always making fun of each other and being playful, but at the end of the day you guys still snuggle together.

I see Rafayel as a words of affirmations guy since he’s known for being flirty, but i can also see him getting flustered if you turn it against him.

I also see him as a quality time kind of dude because he can get very clingy petty and jealous if he doesn’t see or hang out with you for long periods of time.

He likes to use his tall af height to carry and throw you around like a ragdoll sometimes when he’s feeling silly or wants the upper hand in a petty argument.

You guys do get into more serious arguments sometimes cause you’re both very headstrong and prideful but you learn to set aside your differences for love and agree to disagree or learn to compromise.

You also help each other with your fears. You help him with his fear of cats and he helps you feel less nervous around boats and the ocean.

He kisses you on your piercing holes and over his favorite tattoos of yours while also showing you his own (this man has tattoos and piercings fight me i will die on the hill)

He loves when you play with his fluffy hair and will do skin routines with you. He buys you guys the really good expensive shit. When you’re famous you gotta look good.

Since his evol is fire related his hands and body temperature are pretty warm so he doesn’t mind your cold hands and will try to warm them up for you sometimes

He also loves how you’re interested in his history, culture, and language so he will teach you about them every chance he gets. (Idk how far in the story you are so im not gonna spoil where he’s from but trust me youll love it)

Overall your relationship is basically like having a best friend but you get to make out and do lovey dovey stuff together

Roots & Scales

SO- BECAUSE THIS IS MY ACCOUNT AND I'VE DRAWN WAY TOO MUCH NOT TO SHOW ANYTHING. I wanna share things about it (In case I lose my drawings some how- have a trace online) But I don't wanna post it all cause I'm tooo lazy so I'll only focus on individual characters from my friends and how they relate to mine. So! (idk maybe just to get to the current point oof the campaing.)

FIRST UP!

Vaarsyl:

HE ANNOYING af. First he was silent, just a loner character. Not wanting anyone to mind his own business. Right from the top- Mako saved him from getting attack by a mutant potato (Cause that's how Mako has to be) and later when he lost a lot of health and some roots grabbed him. Vaarsyl cured him adding a sassy comment "We are even" cause that's how Vaarsyl is.

I think he was both both curious about Mako and having a blast making fun of him and his grumpy attitud (Also about the fact that he was monkey looking and has never seen anything like it)

Also just as a side note. VAARSYL DID SOMETHING VERY QUESTIONABLE ALMOST THE THE BEGINNING OF THE CAMPAING AHHAHAAHA- They killed some bandits who attacked them during the night:( Mako didn't like killing. One was still alive and Mako wanted to let him live. Obviously Vaarsyl was like "Are you dumb? he tried to kill us" the rest of the gang was also somewhat unsure about what to do. Vaarsyl "forced" the bandit to "TURN" into his religion HAHAHAHAHA and then he'd let him live. Obviously the guy said "YEAH SURE WHATVEVER JUST LET ME LIVE" and that was that.

O MAKO PUSHED VAARSYL AFTER HE OUT OF NO WHERE SLAPPED OUR DRIVER'S HEAD

Mako was generally annoyed by him and his smartass/sassy comments.

Then Vaarsyl became more physical which clearly annoyed Mako even more.

Mako was angry at something that happened in the campaing. A decision he hated. I think Vaarsyl did notice this and didn't bother him this time.

Mako because he didn't want conflict tried to drag Vaarsyl out of the room. They settled on a duel the next day or when they are back from their trip (which we never will so there's that) Anyway- Vaarsyl remained there stiff and slapped Mako's back without looking at him to let him know everything was fine. LATER HE SLAPPED HIS HEAD???? AND MAKO GOT MAD AND WANTED TO NOW YES GIVE IT BACK- but thankfully Alaine stepped in.

THE FIRST CONFRONTATION. They are both looking for different things. No one really knows what Vaarsyl is looking for. But at some point both their searches kind of pointed at the same direction. Which made Mako even more curious about Vaarsyl. Vaarsyl as reserved as he is. He didn't want Mako snooping in his things. Mako started gatekeeping a book that seemed important to both of them for different reasons. This made Vaarsyl very angry.

THE TACO FIGHT.

So Mako was starting to be done with Vaarsyl's annoying comments. But still couldn't do anything about them. So asked the taco lady to put a lot of salt on Vaarsyl's order to spite him. Mako didn't think it would work but it did. Vaarsyl managed to discover Mako had something to do with it and was already fed up because of what had happened with the book yesteray. So they started arguing right there in the restaurant. It was a mess. Mako slept on a tree that night and the group was tense.

Next day both pretended nothing had happened for the sake of the group. They even teamed up helping Aramis sell something for a very VERY high price.

Mako became more interested in the information he found in the book. Still tried to find the connection between Vaarsyl with his search for Enyo.

During a party to celebrate their accomplishments- Mako tricked Vaarsyl into getting drunk to get out information from him. He couldn't get anything useful.

Oooh okay, I actually answered this on my instagram a few months ago but I’ll say it here as well! These are focused on the tv shows/movies cause I haven’t read the comics as much as I would like to, to have my input on the characters.

1987 version: Raphael for sure. He’s so sassy and snarky. Literally just like me fr

2003 version: Mine was a mix of Raph and Mikey. Mikey because he is the youngest and I’m also the youngest in my family so I just sorta clicked with Mikey. And with Raph, well he’s just like me really, angered easily but protective and whatnot.

2012 version: Honestly I was surprised when I realised that Donnie was my favourite character. I didn’t like the Donnie x April moments, but Donnie on his own was great! The episode where the wanted revenge with that Vizioso guy actually had me hyped ngl. Anyway, I then started re watching show and while I love Donnie, I started to also like Leo and Raph.

I’ve learned too much about the Ahsoka show against my will (haven’t watched it and fighting the urge to) and the more I learn about Sabine’s plot there the more I wish they’d never touched on Rebels characters in live action. What are your thoughts on Sabine through the Ahsoka show, having seen it?

i think what stands out for me is that i didn’t hate it as much as a lot of other sabine fans i know, my gripes are more just the way that her story sometimes scrapes so close to being really really good, but never quite makes it all the way there. a big part of this i think is how they strayed away from a lot of overly-specific references and spending too much time on things that would need to be explained to non-rebels fans, which i appreciate from the perspective of making the show accessible (esp bc i have met a few people now who watched rebels for the first time BECAUSE of ahsoka), but i do think weakens certain aspects as far as being a spiritual successor to rebels

i think the broad strokes of what’s there could be really good, they just need more fleshing out. a lot of this is something that could be “fixed” for me in future seasons/stories assuming a certain amount of care is taken.

i’ll start with what i liked: i did warm up to natasha’s performance a lot quicker than i thought i would. the intro she has in the show had me captured pretty quickly, both because i think it’s a well-written character intro and how natasha sells it. i still prefer tiya’s iteration of the character, but natasha was really great at capturing the mix of soft kindness and attitude, plus sabines specific blend of insecurity and confidence. i think some of her best moments also come from how well she nails the chemistry between her and other ghost crew members (as sparing as those scenes are, which is a major gripe of mine). her and eman’s ezra are so electric to watch, and her one scene with hera hit it on the head (that scene also did a ton of heavy lifting as far as selling me on LA hera). you can FEEL the love she has for both characters and immediately get a sense of what their relationship is like, even if you don’t know all of their history. i genuinely think all of the LA rebels were at their best when they were interacting with each other, because those relationships all hit the nail on the head and i hope to see more of that in the future, especially with her and hera (and PLEASE bring zeb in, i miss him so much you can’t show me that you can make him look good in live action for a cameo in a different show and then not let him see his family!!!)

i liked the attention to detail the set design team had when it came to her apartment on lothal, i liked that they gave her a cat, i liked that they outright stated her sibling relationship with ezra. i liked her back and forth with huyang, i liked that they let her keep her more masculine style armor vs re-casting bo-katan armor, i liked that the show did not hold back on seeing how she’s been struggling with the loss of ezra and her birth family (though i don’t really like how the off-screen killing of the wrens was handled). i liked her rivalry with shin, i liked the scenes with her howler, i liked that she got a poncho for a bit, i liked the way she treated the first noti that she met. i liked the way she got to be selfish and messy and yet still we see that she’s a good person, that she learns from her mistakes and makes the right choices in the end even when it’s hard. i like that she cares, she cares so much it gets her in trouble and despite this she still gets to be sassy and snarky and have all of these pluralities that make her who she is.

genuinely, though everything below is way more long winded than what’s up here, my feelings towards sabine in this show do lean more positive, my criticisms are just more complicated and wordy than my likes lol. i think there’s a lot that’s done right (which i think majorly has to do with natasha’s performance), and so, so much potential. there’s a nonzero chance that season 2 could address most of my issues in a way that satisfies me and turns around my feelings on this, even if ultimately i think i will still always prefer and wish for more animated sabine

criticisms under a cut bc this is longer than i thought

the two big issues i have are the way her mandalorian heritage is handled and the way her jedi arc is handled.

when i say the way her mandalorian heritage is handled, i guess the better answer is the way it ISN’T handled. sabine being a mandalorian is so nonessential to her character in this show, that if you took her armor off you wouldn’t even know she was mandalorian. hell, keep her armor and just don’t have her helmet (which i also think she should have worn more without CONSTANTLY GETTING KNOCKED OFF ARE YOU KIDDING ME) and i bet you a lot of casual viewers wouldn’t have even picked up on it! compare that to her in rebels- being a mandalorian is so integral to her identity, even when she isn’t on good terms with any other mandalorians. she references it herself, other characters reference it about her. this is a character that wielded THE DARKSABER for crying out loud, and her mandalorian identity is erased? in an era where a show called “the mandalorian” is a disney+ flagship that this show itself is essentially a spin-off of, it boggles my mind as both a storytelling and a marketing decision.

any criticisms about mando s3 you may have aside, the last live action show before this one was about the reunification of mandalore. one of your leads in this new show is a mandalorian with a personal connection to the co-lead of that show who once possessed the macguffin you revolved a subplot around there (and is actually the one who handed it over to said co-lead in the first place, kicking off the shows whole backstory). and you just… don’t think about at least letting mandalorian heritage be a bigger part of this character? and not even that, but actively ignoring how important it was before? i understand wanting this show to stand on its own, but it feels like such a waste. sabine loving her mandalorian heritage while also rejecting certain parts of it is a huge part of what makes her character so cool and interesting, and i actually think could have worked really well in tandem with the jedi arc they have for her.

my hope is that now that they feel they’ve done the legwork to establish her as a jedi they won’t have to put quite as much focus on that and in season 2 and wherever else she shows up we’ll be able to see more mandalorian-focused aspects of her, but we’ll see how that goes.

which does bring me to the whole jedi thing. i don’t hate it- i completely understand why people do, but i did warm up to it by the end of the show. i also am not opposed to the idea of anyone being able to connect with the force, it just being a lot harder for those who aren’t naturally force-sensitive, to the point that it’s a non-issue for me. while it wouldn’t have been my preferred direction for her story to go, i actually do like the idea of sabine being a nontraditional jedi, blaster in hand yet following their teachings in her own way because they resonate with her as someone with a desire to help others and do good, and as an extension of how she loves and honors kanan and ezra as her family. we do see inklings of this in rebels, where she rejects certain violent parts of mandalorian culture in favor of “sounding like a jedi” based on what she’s learning from kanan (again a reason to focus more on her as a mandalorian, but whatever).

the problem is, it doesn’t really feel like the show’s jedi arc for her is actually following up on those things. the show doesn’t really address why sabine wants to be a jedi, outside of maybe it being a way for her to find ezra with ahsoka. but now she found ezra. so why does she care about being a jedi? is it because she believes in the code? because she wants to connect with the jedi in her life? because after all she’s been through, she’s searching for peace and balance within herself the jedi path can provide? the show doesn’t really bother to bring this up. i can fill in the gaps with my own fanon, but it feels odd to essentially be told “this character, who showed no interest before, wants to be a jedi now.” this is again something that can be explored in season 2 to satisfy me, but as it stands right now i struggle with it. because right now, the answer feels like “why does sabine want to be a jedi? so ahsoka can have a padawan”

especially because the closest we get to an answer isn’t actually a jedi thing at all- if anything, it’s dark side mindset. the most consistent thing we see with sabine wanting to be a jedi in the show is actually wanting to yield the power of the force. especially when it comes to her attachments (specifically ezra here)! nothing to do with selflessness, with inner peace, any of the core tenets of the jedi philosophy- it’s just about that power. i don’t think it was the intention, and if it was i think sabine struggling with the dark side is entirely natural to her character after all she’s lost at this point, if it was portrayed that way. but her triumphant moment of finally unlocking that power is not one where she realizes she has to find calm within herself to feel the force around her, but one where she is able to access it purely out of fear for her own life in a panicked moment, and then again out of fear for ezras life.

and maybe this is part of the story! the season does end with her rejecting her attachment and instead of going home with ezra, going back to help ahsoka because it’s the right thing to do. so it’s headed in the right direction in that regard. another hope i have for season 2 is that we’ll see sabine struggle still with using the force when she’s at peace and not in a life or death situation, and the frustrations that come with that. maybe she starts relying on strong emotions like anger or fear to wield the force, and ahsoka has to guide her now on not just finding her connection, but on finding it without relying on emotions that could lead her to slip towards the dark side, even though it’s much harder. i think it would create some really great tension considering how sabine’s initial apprenticeship with ahsoka ended, and we then get to see how “ahsoka the white” handles these problems differently than she did before. but who knows?

i also think i said pretty recently i would instantly be 100% more on board with this arc for her if she was allowed to at least talk about kanan. she was close to him, she loved him, he was a huge part of her life and her arc in rebels- and her relationship to him is ignored. are hera and ezra’s relationships to him (which do get acknowledged) bigger parts of rebels? absolutely. but there are several entire episodes revolving around the relationship between sabine and kanan, and other moments between the two of them throughout. i understand the show wants to be accessible to people who haven’t seen rebels, but it feels odd to have the entire scene where ezra builds his lightsaber dedicated to his relationship with kanan, while sabine’s relationship gets ignored. sabine gets to have a nonverbal reaction to huyang bringing him up, (which natasha plays well) but then… that’s it? the shift is then immediately focused again to her relationship with ahsoka.

and even that connection isnt explored to its full potential. like, how does sabines relationship to kanan affect her one without ahsoka? and not just “kanan and ezra were master and padawan and now me and ahsoka are.” like, kanan was, in a way, her first jedi master. and she witnessed him die tragically, saving the life of her and two of the people she’s closest to. has she built kanan up in her head as an ideal ahsoka doesn’t live up to? is she guilty that she didn’t have as much an interest in being a jedi while he was still alive? does she compare the way she saw kanan teach ezra to the way ahsoka teaches her? do things she learned from kanan ever conflict with what ahsoka teaches her? i don’t necessarily need the show to spell out answers for these questions for me- i like getting to write my own headcanons in the margins of the series. but i feel like it’s such a missed opportunity to not even acknowledge it.

and my final smaller issue is that a lot of the trademark elements of her character no longer exist in this show. while the set dressing does a great job of showing her artsy side, we don’t really get to see her draw or paint or even talk about art. we dont get to see her knowledge of or affinity with explosives. i say it’s smaller because i dont have as much to say on it, but tbh i missed these parts of her as much as i did her as a mandalorian. while sabine in this show has a lot of her personality, relationships and style from rebels, which i appreciate, the interests and background that not only make her unique but make her who she is are missing, and it is honestly sad.

in a way, i love when a lot of these things are left open. i love getting to fill in gaps like this and create some of those emotional connections in my head, that’s a huge part of the fun of fandom for me. it’s also why i don’t mind that we haven’t (yet, i’m sure it’s coming eventually in some form lol) seen all of the details of sabine and ahsoka’s initial attempt to find ezra, and them parting ways because of ahsoka fearing sabine is veering to close towards the dark side. i like getting to write it in my head a little bit, i think that particular info is enough to build on for the shows purposes for me.

and frankly, i don’t need every single one of my questions here directly answered. in fact, i would say i DONT want the show to outright answer all of these. rebels didn’t feel the need to hold our hand through every single character arc and relationship dynamic, and this show shouldn’t have to either. i like my room for headcanons! but there’s a point where they all build up to a point where it feels a little bit careless, like the writing sabines arc in this show often prioritized ahsoka’s arc and what needed to happen there before her own, even if it meant leaving out major parts of sabines character.

a lot of it i genuinely think couldve been fixed with just a couple more episodes of this show (8 episode season my beloathed) and perhaps things will be explored and fleshed out in season 2 to satisfy me- we are technically looking at an incomplete story with this show, so things could happen next season that make a lot of my points moot.

again, i think that this show had a lot of legwork to do regarding sabine as a jedi and catching us up on her relationship to ahsoka, to the point that it didn’t necessarily have time to fully dive into a lot of issues with this first season- and maybe now that that’s established, they will be able to do a lot of these things! i think the show is headed in the right direction based on the ending, with both sabines choice to help ahsoka and also how the show does make a point to show sabine picking up her mandalorian helmet and when she could have left it behind. that last bit especially felt very pointed considering how little her mandalorian heritage was brought up in season 1, that maybe it will play a bigger role in season 2. we now have a sabine that they don’t have to show being out of practice, so maybe we’ll get to see her be the incredibly competent fighter/pilot we know she is! maybe now we’ll have time to explore exactly why she wants to be a jedi, how being a mandalorian is important to her and interacts with her jedi beliefs. we’ll have time for her to do art, maybe she’ll get some opportunities to blow things up again! maybe now that she knows huyang knew kanan, she’ll get to talk about him. maybe she’ll get to reunite again with hera, chopper, zeb and ezra and we’ll see those relationships shine.

but until we have a season 2 in our hands, these are my current thoughts

First : she’s a lesbian for me. Whether you want to see her as fem, chapstick or masc/butch, Marlene is just a wonderful lesbian, i love her very much

Second : she’s the kind to show love in little ways as much as big ways. Very touchy, in public and in private, but the sweet kind ! Like linking a pinky, letting you hold onto her belt or hem of shirt, mess your hair and redo them for fun because she knows it annoys you but also she lives to take care of you so she’ll do it again

More small way she show love : trust you with her hair dye, makeup, outfits, and will do your hair, makeup and outfit for you too !

She also is totally the kind of girl to bring breakfast at home for you, or take you to spontaneous dates at cafes for breakfast

Third : kind of girl that love to be shown off and will show you off too, i think she just like that reassurance and to know her partner is proud of her as much as she is proud of them

Fourth : loves good banters. That’s that. But also she would love her partner shy. Like a witty and sassy person that can do nice snarky comments and comebacks but also someone who genuinely flirt by being flustered and complimenting her a lot.

Fifth : will love not being in the same classes as you so that when you cross path in the day she can say fate brings you together, or so she can run to your classroom to kiss you even if she’ll be late to hers.

Also if you are not a Gryffindor she totally will find a way to sneak into your common room. No matter what. Even Slytherin.

Fave season of ouat. And y. Go. (Mine is 3 bc that’s when you see hooks softer/ but still flirtier side and the relationship growing). Although 5-6 come very close bc they are stronger and the proposal and wedding. Ahhhh. But omg when he asked for David’s blessing. That ep had me. But all the kissing in season 3. Oh wait, there’s other people other than hook and Emma in ouat? Nah.

Oh gosh.... (edit: i wrote like two paragraphs of this before realizing you just asked general favorite season, not favorite CS season, but I still turned this into a CS post.)

Season 2 is not bad. There's so much there for background to understand where emma was coming from, versus season 1 which was mostly us as viewers learning who everyone was in the enchanted forest and how the story we know was being reinterpreted. Now it was learning where Emma was coming from, where Killian comes into the picture and some of his background, where Cora comes from which lays the groundwork for how she raised Regina and where she is coming from. How they became the people they became today, the steps of their recent history. The continuous choices and situations that led them to where they were when they all came together. I love straight up evil Killian. It's fun. Him trusting her immediately, him being sassy flirty, him saying "just a I'm done with you" (pssh, okay my guy). but at the end, despite it being good writing, I'm just okay about it. I mean yea its got Tallahassee.... but I also am not a fan of how they handled the neal/emma relationship when they were young. Michael Raymond-James is NOTICEABLY an older man well into his 30s, and I could buy him being a rough 20 something, but Emma is VERY MUCH meant to be late teens and that entire casting situation and its implications followed by the pushing in later seasons for her to be with Neal by her family just makes me so very uncomfortable.

Three is honestly such a fair choice. I love season 3 with Hook starting to realize he needs to change and wants to change. But also still actively having to purge his villain tendencies. Rolling his eyes while volunteering to help Belle research. His snarky comments constantly that no one laughs at cause they're a little on the meaner side. But also the way he and Emma so automatically can read each other. She just has to tilt her head or nod and he knows what she wants him to do. The longing looks, the declarations. Nothing beats "when I win your heart, and I will win it. It will be because you want me" NOTHING. "I'm in this for the long haul" after saying he'll back off to give Henry the chance at a family, and won't inject himself into that. But also knows Neal will mess it up, knows he'll be on the sidelines for the second of an oppertunity. Knows that he DOES stand a valid chance if he wanted to fight. Like, just fuck me up. The shift in Regina's character and how she learns to become good, how that is different from Hook's journey but they both recognize it being the same journey. Her teaming up with Rumple to fnd Henry and it markedly NOT being villains teaming up, but her willing to do anything to save her son and the second she realizes its no good, she's gone. Learning more about the emotional backstory and early character moments in their lives, Hook, Emma, and Regina especially. Learning the complicate pasts, and seeing the steps they took to get here. I feel like actual writing wise- its the strongest season for them. Its also go the best lines. Like Regina and Robin also is SO GOOD in the flashbacks and I forever regret not getting more of them in that weird flirty hate each other stage but what we did get was SO GOOD. "Where you come from, they bath in the river and use pine cones for money" Lana... ma'am.... that is THE BEST LINE in the entire show for me. This season had all the potential, and for that it gets a lot of points. A lot of what was built didn't get delivered on as well as it should have, but that's not the foundations fault. And this season was the foundation.

Season 4 is prime them in love. I love the relationship part of most shows when they handle it well, and I think THAT aspect was handled well. Him obviously in love, her coming to terms with what that means. So much angst in a good way of him being the reason for some of the problems she has. Of him not having his heart. Of him realizing he can't keep making the same villain mistakes if he's going to be with her, if he's going to change. If he's going to be a better man. This is a great season just like... FOR him. You see the realizations that he's made these mistakes and he can't even blame his past self. His current self did this to himself. You see the beginnings of his self-loathing and how that builds the reasoning for the choices he makes. He's had his hook for centuries, he's learned how to work with it and around it. But for the date, the internalized ableism got the better of him, and he thought in order to be a better man, and the man she deserved, he needed to be 'whole.' Which is IMMeDIATELY disproved when she doesn't even realize he had his hand until its pointed out, and also doesn't notice its a hook again later because she loves HIM she sees HIM. Those outward shifts and changes are not important. She notices his clothing change because it represents so much more about him embracing this weird strange land and showing he's sticking around. But his hook? Well thats just part of him that she accepts because its part of him so when he changes it its not something she notices. (sorry, i have a LOT of feelings about this episode) And then the whole darkness inside him and the hand and him being a villain and being afraid of losing his happy ending. 4b is weak we all know that, but the emotions of it are so strong. "Don't you know Emma? It's you." MY GUYYYYYY. The kisses we got this season, the emotional leaps and bounds. Him admitting having her in his life is what keeps him on the side of the heroes. Him saying he hopes its his job to protect her heart even when no one is actively trying to steal it. Her discovering more about her past and really starting to share her history with someone, showing her past and being vulnerable with someone and allowing them to scale the fortress she's put up to protect herself. Learning that someone is there begging to be let in, and isn't going away, and even when she ignores him he says basically that he's not deterred so easily, she's worth it, he recognizes that, and he'll just wait patiently for her to be ready. He will always put her first. Will put her family first. Often at the expense of himself.

Now season 5. Look. Do I think its strong? No. It's some of the saddest writing (season 6 is the worst in my opinion) in that it had SO MUCH POTENTIAL. But it Never delivers it. Season 4 was their love story, so there's no need to focus so heavily on them in season 5, sometimes having them not even interact in scenes that make NO SENSE for them to not interact. Despite the fact that she's just told him she loved him before being taken over by the darkness and saying she trusts him to be able to reach her and save her. Despite the entire ARC being ABOUT THEM for BOTH HALVES, the actual day to day episode to episode is not about them at all. So little focused on them, on them interacting, on their story. It was such a mess. So much promise with so little delivery. Nothing was allowed to breath, nothing was allowed to sit, no one was allowed to have a single thought to work through what they were going through. He's evil for what? a single episode? and in the middle of it there's this entire hour about a character we don't know, with no one we care about, about something never mentioned again that holds zero bering on ANYTHING that happens or has happened. So much wasted time. I LOVE what 5 could have been. I LOVE the implications, and the shifts in narrative and expectation. I LOVE the discovery and acceptance of their relationship and the confirmations we get. I HATE nothing is ever discussed on screen. Everything is implied to happen off screen "like I told you" Did you tell her when the cameras were off? We're given nothing we should have. Everyone else is just set dressing, and yet have all the focus. Its disjointed and just lazy, and its only saving grace is whoever had the initial idea on the brain storm board and then the acting itself. But damn if this season doesn't give me inspiration.

Finally, season 6.... I'll leave at saying when its good, its great. All three singular scenes that are good. There's no follow through from whats already happened to these characters. There's no acknowledgment of their past selves, their past experiences. Hook is GENUINELY shocked that Emma understands why he didn't toss the shears knowing she'd hate him for doing 'the one thing that could save her' WHEN THAT WAS THE ENTIRE CLIMAX OF 5A!

I thought I should make a small list about... well, what's written in the title lol - what to expect from this blog / this postrayal or wat not to expect from it, just so you know what you're dealing with.

Ok so finished watching Across The Spiderverse in theaters and here are my thoughts, under readmore so you guys won't get spoiled cause I'll mention plot shit

Nonspoiler review: these movies really are works of art, both visually and in sound. They draw on very relatable and powerful emotions of wanting to fit in, feeling like you belong, feeling like you're important, are you doing the right thing, are you living up to the expectations of others. These are the kinds of movies that could introduce people to the franchise and even if you're not into superheroes the emotion and visuals and writing itself is spectacular. Definitely a movie I could own and rewatch later

Now, here's my takes with more spoilers

-Miguel is actually so snarky and sassy. He is 100% done the entire movie and he's sarcastic or condescending almost every time he opens his mouth. He has a sense of humor it's just more mean spirited lmao "well you're gonna have to shut up and trust me" saying "how wonderful" sarcastically to Miles, being all "spiderverse? No thats dumb, its called the Arachnid poly multiverse, which, I guess sounds just as dumb"

-seeing him on the big screen really was like wow. He could be go from being sort of a dork to being so imposing and threatening, like, there was a small part where he steps closer to Miles as a silent intimidating gesture because hes so much taller, he could be so stone faced and cold when things got serious when Miles wasnt taking his warnings, but initially he was trying to be more compassionate, just, mwah, definitely going to help with any writing endeavors and characterizations of this man

-just seeing how the wristwatches and "daypasses" work is useful for any fanfic ideas I'm having ;) but holy shit you could just glitch until you die? I much prefer the concept of "Reader somehow whether being a mutant or an anomaly or just lucky gets transported to other dimensions instead or just back home"

-God just. Gwen's opening was amazing I don't even know how to describe it. When she's recounting her past and she's starting to talk about Miles while she's playing the drums and her drum playing keeps getting more and more intense, her music angry and frustrated and powerful as she keeps saying "and he's not the only one", speaking of his pain and isolation and how she feels connected to him, just, the way these movies write relationships between people and emotions is so human

-Spider Cat my beloved. LEGO Spiderman my beloved. Plushie Spiderman my beloved. Sun Spider is a fancharacter and got a speaking role. The thick, plus size, and fat spiders. Just the variety. It really is fun to imagine a Spidersona and feel represented kwim

-Jesus the intro to Mumbattan was insane. The way these movies constantly have you flying and falling through the air and falling through multiple levels and layers as objects whiz by, the music, the choreography. Just. The visuals and music the entire movie was insane

-HOBIE! definitely a fucking star. He's smart enough to build his own watch dude!! Love that guy. Definitely see him being in some stuff of mine as a helping hand if nothing else. Hobie helping Reader out during the YouTwo drama by offering you safe haven in his universe?

-I'm guessing Miguel has to give himself regular, spider nanomachine whatever injections? His powers kind of seem to have changed from his comic book a little bit. In the comics he has organic webs and was atomically spliced with spider dna but in the movie I think it's all technology idk? Correct me if im wrong, maybe they're red and glowing in the comics too 🤷‍♀️

-something something "smutty story where Miguel boyches a formula and turns himself into like a possessive horny borderline pure animal in heat and of course you're the lucky lady to stumble into him first"

-I got the bunny filter version of Lyla by the way!

Ugh this movie has me filled with so many emotions and also I snuck alcohol into the theaters and was on an edible gummy so I was FEELING this movie and just. Definitely two of my all time favorite movies

Aka child vigilante turned dead turned mob boss who decided that dead enemies are better than dead you! Very inspiring. Book nerd, very crafty, attempted to steal tires from the Batmobile when he was nine, a killer, a middle brother, snarky, caring and just very petty person.

Jaster Mereel (on the right)

Aka you like your blorbos obscure. A Mandalorian. Long dead adoptive father of Jango Fett. Supposedly nerd historian, good ruler and father, and someone who wrote a ridiculously long philosophical paper on the nature of his culture, ways to preserve it and make it true to modern times.

Tobirama Senju (on the left)

Aka one of Konoha's finders. Ridiculously competent, brilliant scientist, ruthless warrior, cold to point of awkward. Loves learning?creating jutsus and his brother, if fandom to be believed the only person who thought about infrastructure when idea of making village came up.

Urahara Kisuke (on the right)

Brilliant sassy scientist, but make him slightly evil trashfire. A lot of brain cells, none of them are figuring out morals or socialization. Had one brilliant crush, that he followed in military assassination squad, then got his own research facilities, low-key committed attrocities, effectively invented an atomic bomb, that got stolen by the villain. Yay. He's sorry though. A little. Wasn't caught on accusations of treason and build his own lab masquerading as effectively tea shop. He also has a funny hat. And a cane! Favorite war criminal what can I say

I thought about putting here hp character next, but Hp doesn't deserve rights and I mostly hallucinate chatacters from there, so instead I gonna brag about a character that quite literally isn't translated in English.

His name is Roque Alva from Reflections of Aeterna and he's at different points High General, Warlord, Duke and something between chosen one and cursed one. He's ridiculously competent, history nerd, drunk, whore and has enough sass to fell the county. He has trust issues longer than the borders he sworn to protect. He's effectively immortal because of the curse, but everyone he even remotely cares about die around him or betray him. (He also pretty sure that's because he sold his soul to devil. He didn't. It's technically perk of being divinely ordained to be king. He doesn't want to be one). He also the only sane person in the books (saving my sanity by proxy) and has ridiculously high resonance in type of thinking and existing to mine, so he's the only character I would claim kin for, so please love him or your blorbo rotator will malfunction for three weeks ^^

2. Anything that you'd like to write but feel like you're unable to?

There are a lot of fanfic ideas that I don't feel like I have time or energy for them, or to do them justice.

For Grima - there's a half-written sequel to Be Not Afraid of Plenty/Wondrous Works where Eomer's getting married and Grima's getting up to no good and isn't at all jealous/feeling abandoned/experiencing the many uncomfortable feelings that can exist within the human condition. Why would you think he is??

I want to write something of a creature feature with Grima and Eomer (one of them is a Creature, idk, something fucked up and monstrous) but I'm not sure I'll ever have time or, more importantly, motivation/energy.

3. How would you describe your writing style?

Literary and poetic, for sure. Perhaps a bit florid and purple-prosey/try-hard at times.

26. What would you describe as OOC?

hmmm I'm not sure. Grima's one of those characters where he can be written in a variety of ways that are all supported by what we have in the canon so I'm not sure there's a lot of OOC opportunities.

I mean there are the basics: he should be mean and hungry, he should be sly and cunning, he should be a coward/have minimal to no backbone, he should be drawn to power and wealth, he should be a thief (if we're doing book Grima, at least), he should be someone who takes a mile if you give him an inch etc.

But how all of those traits manifest, and which ones are the dominant traits, is all pretty loose and very much up to the writer. Because it's like, are we writing Grima at the height of his power? If we are, there's some arrogance to interweave into him that is pretty thoroughly stamped out by the time we get the scouring of the Shire. Are we writing Grima only from the movies? Are we writing Book Grima? Post-Saruman Grima? Post-Saruman and with Frodo for a month? Six months? A year? What kind of childhood and family are we giving him? etc. all of these things would impact him and change him as a person in some manner.

For me personally, I always bump on him as a character if he's not sassy/doesn't have a bit of an Attitude & Authority Problem. But that's because I really go hard on Book Grima who is sassy and snarky, even when he's beaten down thoroughly by Saruman. Like, the depths of that dark point on his life, he's still a snarky bitch. It's in there, it's just been stomped on and beaten into something like submission. But give him some care for ten minutes and man that attitude of his will come springing back up.

However, I understand why people don't include that part of him. It's very book-based, it's not how he's written in the movies, and it's one of the aspects of him that's a bit at odds with the remainder of his character which is very grovely/boot licking/dick sucking/let me make a thousand excuses in a whiny voice etc.

I might have a Lot of Thoughts on Grima's characterisation...

I've been convinced.

I wrote a small snippet after being inspired by some thoughts/an AU by a wonderful @dollscircus and I'm not sure if I'll add stuff to it that'll help lead up to the moment I have written, but it's a maybe. I suppose it depends on whether or not people actually like it lmfao. Anyway, this is an Imperium AU where Tank survived Quinn, but David didn't and they had a falling out with the rest of the pack. Asher blamed them for David's death, so they left. This little snippet is a moment of Milo having tried to talk to them, but they didn't take too kindly to being followed.

   "I don't have any bullshit to settle with you. You're not on my shit-list, Milo—not yet, at least." Tank sneered, refusing to break the eye contact with the Beta. "That Alpha of yours is the only one on it, and at the tippy top, no less. If you don't want to follow in his footsteps, I strongly suggest you stay out of my way."

   "He's—" Milo struggled, the bigger wolf cut him off with another shove.

   "No." They stated firmly, "Asher is your Alpha, not mine. I don't have an Alpha." For a few moments, Milo fell silent, thinking.

   "Why's that?" He asked with his natural sassy undertone that only earned a tighter grip from the person he liked to have thought he knew all that time ago. "Is it because you're your own Alpha now?" He was mocking them. Taunting them. Tank scoffed at first, but it broke into laughter, succeeding in confusing the shifter they had pinned and cornered.

   "I don't have an Alpha because I don't need one," when they noticed their words didn't help his perplexed expression, they only grew more amused; a dark and wolfish half-grin tugging at their lips. They carried on:

   "I'm no Alpha. The Alpha is the beginning, a leading force. I'm no leader, I know that better than anyone, Milo." He debated briefly with himself whether or not he should make another snide comment or ask one more snarky question to get a single, straight-shot answer from them, however, decided instead to stay quiet, hoping they would continue on their own given the offer.

They did.

   "I'm not a beginning," Tank's eyes lit aglow with magic and ferocity. Ferocity outside of anything Milo had ever seen from them in the past. Ferocity from a complete outsider. A potential threat.  "I'm the end." Their lips twitched as they snarled, fiery gaze still locked on Milo's vandyke hues and refusing to spare so much as a glance to anything else but his eyes.

   "I am the Omega."

Relationships & how they met who

Felt the need to do this so it’s a bit easier to rp with other blogs!

Sorry if it seems a bit too much like mc syndrome or rlly cringe

Sampo: Very very close sibling relationship, will tell each other other people’s darkest secrets even if told not to. —Met at the Tavern World’s End, Sampo was the one who ultimately recruited Blythe and helped them settle into the Fools and even helped them settle into a more comfortable identity.

Gepard: Very close sibling relationship, second choice of company when Sampo is busy. —Met in the streets of Belobog when they were questioned about Sampo since they were seen with him during chases, but since he had no concrete evidence about them all he could do was question them. They met so many times, both from Gepard questioning them which turned into Blythe teasing and following him around, they just… warmed up. Don’t ask Blythe how, even they don’t know.

Serval: Sibling relationship, goes to her to learn the guitar and how to fix machines. —Met her through Gepard of course, the two of them hit it off immediately after exchanging pleasantries since both knew their way around machines. Blythe visits very often to learn guitar. Oh, and Serval taught them how to use makeup.

Lynx: Sibling relationship, since Lynx is always out they don’t get to talk much, but they appreciate each other. —Met her through Serval and Gepard, they both liked the stars and the northern lights. Since Blythe knew a lot about the stars, it gave the two a topic to bond over, which helped them warm up to each other.

Natasha: Mother figure, always the first choice for advice regarding life. —Met her through Sampo since he recommended they join Wildfire. It didn’t take them long to warm up to her since she reminded them of their adoptive mother.

Oleg: Father figure, looks up to him a lot and learned some of their moves from him —Met him through Natasha, they liked that even though they messed up in training a lot, he never scolded them or judged them and simply helped them up and helped them try again.

Luka: The SMALLEST crush, likes to hang out with him by fighting monsters in Rivet Town and spending some time anywhere else —Met him through Oleg, Blythe was a bit unnerved by his sheer kindness until it finally sunk in that he was a good person. They also attend as many matches of Luka’s as they can to cheer him on.

Seele: Sibling relationship, an “only I can bully them” relationship —Met through Oleg, did not get along at first due to how sassy and snarky they were and Seele being easily irritable. Wasn’t until Seele walked in on them performing for the children of Boulder Town after a particularly harsh argument between the miners and vagrants did they start to warm up.

Hook: Sibling relationship, loves taking her on small adventures they had set up —Met in the streets of Boulder Town when looking for Sampo, played hide&seek with her and kept coming back since she really liked them. And so, Blythe kept making these adventures for Hook and her friends to go through together.

Clara: Sibling relationship, they fix robots and roam around together —Met in the Great Mines when they were distributing medical supplies. Got to know Clara since she would always ask them for machine parts or to help find them, and since they helped fix them. Svarog was less hostile towards them after seeing how much Clara liked them.

Bronya: Friends, a caretaker-gremlin type of friendship —Met through Pela, not very close but they started meeting more ever since Blythe started following Gepard around and started meeting even more when her and Seele got together.

Pela: Friends, play their respective instruments together and gush over novels together —Met through Serval, got along since they both played their respective instruments together a few times(Blythe weren’t the best but they managed)but started to really bond over novels. Blythe helps draw sometimes.

Sparkle: Fear and annoyance. That’s it. That’s the relationship.. —Met in the Masked Fools, always felt off around her due to how casually she regarded murder and violence. Started avoiding her even more when she faked a scenario that made them kill a person for the first time. Always hid behind Sampo whenever she was nearby and still does.

Aventurine: One sided hatred+fear on Blythe’s side —Met when Blythe got off of his ship after being found inside one of the cargo boxes they hid in when they were a child and were nearly beat by the IPC Guards until he showed up and berated the guards. But since they were a kid, they were scared by how angry he was and ran the second he let them go. They never saw him again, so he didn’t get a chance to give a better impression.
