Tumblr media
🎀⃝ღ Maintain good hygiene: Wash your face twice a day with mild soap to remove sebum and impurities that can clog pores.
🎀⃝ღ Exfoliate regularly: Exfoliate your face once a week to remove dead skin cells and keep pores clean.
🎀⃝ღ Use appropriate products: Use skin care products that contain ingredients such as salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide or sulfur, which can help reduce the appearance of pimples.
🎀⃝ღ Avoid stress: Stress can increase sebum production, which can worsen the appearance of pimples. Practice relaxation techniques such as meditation or yoga.
🎀⃝ღ Eat a balanced diet: A diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains can help keep skin healthy and reduce the appearance of pimples.
🎀⃝ღ Do not touch or prick: Avoid touching or pricking pimples, as this can worsen the situation and leave marks.
🎀⃝ღ Use masks: Apply clay masks or natural ingredients such as honey or aloe vera to help absorb excess sebum and reduce the appearance of pimples.
Remember that prevention and constant care are key to reduce the appearance of pimples and use products according to your skin type. If the problem persists, consult a dermatologist for personalized advice.

You deadlift? What's your PB?
My current max is 250 pounds! Gotta catch up to Tony, he's at 300 now 😤
Also someone else asked about how deadlifting doesn't kill my back, and the answer is that weightlifting with proper form is good for back pain >:]
Strengthening your stabilizer muscles is so good for your bones and posture! It doesn't mean accidents don't happen, as we will all decay in time, but it definitely helps me draw all day and night without crumbling into dust 👌

The importance of vitamin D in Haircare
༺♡༻༺♡༻༺♡༻༺♡༻ ༺♡༻༺♡༻༺♡༻༺♡༻༺♡༻༺♡༻༺♡༻ ༺♡༻
Our hair is thinning, loosing it's volume and not growing as it used to before. You have taken hair-supplements already and it doesn't seem to improve?
Topical treatments are great, but oftentimes hair health is impacted from the inside.
Therefore:
Vitamin D(3) is slept on as a nutritional supplement to prevent hair loss and get healthier hair.
Research on Vitamin D(3) :
Vitamin D(3) is  involved in various signalling pathways within hair follicles, particularly in the growth phase of the hair cycle
Vitamin D deficiency is associated with several types of hair loss
People with hair loss are more likely to have low vitamin D levels in their blood
Impacts of a Vitamin D deficiency
Decreased hair volume
Impede the hair follicles growth phase
Contribute to hair thinning
How to improve vitamin D levels
First, you should go to the doctor and get your blood checked for Vitamin D deficiency.
Because then you'll get the proper dosage for you.
If your deficiency is not as bad you can buy those supplement from the drugstore.
You have to eat something fatty before you take the supplement for the best results.
Important: Don't go for the highest Vitamin D supplement, due to Vitamin D toxicity. Start with a lower dosage if you're not deficient
Another way to incorporate more Vitamin D is through your diet.
Foods that contain Vitamin D
Non Plant based:
Fatty fish -> ex. Salmon; Mackerel; Sardines
Egg yolks
Beef liver
Milk
Yogurt
Plant based:
Fortified plant-based foods: ex. vegan milk; margarine & tofu
Mushrooms: -> esp. those exposed to UV light
Fruits and vegetables: -> Smaller amount ex:
-> Kale, spinach, and collard greens
->Okra, sweet potatoes, broccoli
->Oranges, bananas, kiwis, papayas
Manifesting Healthy hair for all girlies ya

— KIM SEONG-MIN… i am a 25 year old college drop out who majored in psychology in hopes of being a therapist for at risk youth. however, before i could graduate college, i had to drop out of school so that i could take care of my mother and pay for her medical expenses. this is the reason that i am in debt in the first place — i took out a loan to help pay for her medical expenses, on top of the loan for college. when i was first approached by the recruiter, i was incredibly hesitant, but he eventually won me over. seriously, why does nobody (including me) ever take the phrase “don’t talk to strangers” seriously? maybe if i had, i wouldn’t have ended up as a participant in the second round of games. my player number is 360

— SE-MI… is a 27 year old who is also a participant in the games. we met each other originally when i was 23 and she was 25, and we pretended to be together in order to convince the banks to give me a loan. when this facade ended, we quickly grew apart and began to resent each other. we didn’t speak again until we saw each other for the first time in nearly a year during the games. after red light green light, we agreed that it would be best for us to stick together so that we could both make it through.

reminder to master chef twst jp players that:
the 20 minute ingredient gathering is the most efficient one, but find the one that matches your schedule
focus on getting sugar, eggs and fruits because they're pretty popular ingredients
use low/medium ingredients to raise skill level, only use high quality ingredients when the recipe is above 50%
try focusing on one recipe at a time
when you're done with the event, use up the rest of your ingredients for 100%, then do the recipes with the fewest ingredients
when nothing else can be made, just keep making black dishes to earn what medals you can
i hope these tips help!!

ive said this before but cant stress enough how important it is to already have references picked out and even pulled up before you sit down to do art. while there are definitely times when its fun to sit down, find or see a random picture that inspires you, and then go create something from there, i think its best practice on a day to day to have a goal and a plan! now thats not to say that your art practice needs to be super structured and rigid. art can be so fun and gratifying when there is no end goal and you "find" what you want to create along the way. but when i don't do this (this = picking refs, doing some planning prior) i often find myself using the time ive allotted for art endlessly scrolling and picking out references that interest me. this typically ends with me having a varied assortment of references pulled up that may or may not have anything to do with what i wanted to draw or practice that day and by the end of that ive exhausted myself mentally going through a bunch of pictures on the internet and getting side tracked by tumblr, youtube, other social media, etc.
so! if you experience something similar, i recommend:
keeping a running list of things you want to create in a note somewhere
this is an excellent thing to do imo because if you ever find yourself wanting to create art but when you finally sit down you're unsure of what you actually want to make, having a list of ideas is so so helpful. the list can be very specific concepts/pieces you want to make, or it can be as broad as 'do more anatomy studies with interesting perspectives'. the entire goal of this bullet (and the rest of the list lol) is to cut down on decisions you have to make during your art practice time!
making conscious decisions or goals for what you want to create or practice the next time you sit down to make art
similar to the first bullet, the goal of this is to set intentions for the next time you sit down to create art. it can be as simple as an hour before you have time to make art you think to yourself 'i'd like to practice portrait sketches this afternoon' or 'i want to do 30 min landscape studies tomorrow'. i cannot stress enough that when you make decisions for yourself ahead of time, you will have a lot more energy to create when you next sit down to make art.
take some time BEFORE sitting down to create art to pick out references, decide color palettes, decide scope of practice (sketch? gesture drawing? fully rendered piece?)
so you've already decided what you're going to create and your goal for the next time you sit down to create art. if you have time, curate a specific set of references that you want to use prior to actually sitting down to create. and i don't mean decide that you will look through the board on your pinterest where you have all of your anatomy pose references. i mean - specifically pick out a handful of references you want to use or select from the next time you sit down to make art. you want to do anatomy studies? pick a handful of poses that you want to study beforehand. you have a specific piece in mind of your character from X media? have reference images of that character pulled up, have pose references that you want to use if you aren't just doing a portrait. doing a fully rendered portrait study? have your portrait reference pulled up and select a color palette if you can. fabric and clothes studies? pick a few you want to look at. you want to practice drawing noses? have! references! pulled! up! beforehand!
references are your friend! they really are! but sometimes they can be a hinderance to our art practice if we don't approach them with intention. i know that personally i get overwhelmed with all of the things i want to do studies of, things i want to draw, ideas i have, rendering styles i want to practice. i see other people's art online and feel inspired to create something similar. i see someone's cool outfit and want to draw my oc in it. the world is filled with so much inspiration and that's so wonderful but it can be so overwhelming. do yourself and your art practice a favor and try to approach things with intention. make decisions beforehand so that your art practice time isn't swallowed by getting sidetracked on the internet or getting overwhelmed by things you could be doing.
bottom line -> life is busy. there's a lot of information that you are inundated with every second of every day. if you can take some time prior to figure out the WHAT of your art, when you have time to make art you will have more energy to focus on HOW you will make the art
