#might be a bit before the next one

that chapter went up faster because i knew what that chapter was.

didn’t know the first bit, but.  knew what i was adding, what i was changing for it in comparison with kisses.  and one of those scenes is almost whole in kisses, but it’s subtly different here (with an additional moment) because that scene is important and necessary in both.

most of the scenes that have been in both haven’t been word for word even in the narration, but this one is very close to word for word.  that’s intentional.  a lot of the other scenes that have been closer to word for word have felt constraining writing them that way, and some scenes have very much not been even remotely word for word because it’s a reimagining of them from agatha’s pov and different people remember things differently, but this specific scene is one that. stays pretty much the same. but with some subtle differences.

anyway.

i know the beginning of the next chapter and some general idea of how i want it to go in terms of everything, and it’ll probably be the most different of all the chapters compared with their original match (with the exception of the 1970′s chapter, which just doesn’t exist in kisses at all), which is to say - i probably will not get it done and up and posted tomorrow the way this one was today after a chapter yesterday.

but.

two chapters!  right after each other!  it’s been a while since i’ve done that!  normally it’s just bits and pieces here and there across multiple things, and here i’ve done - three chapters!  three chapters!  in two days!  because the chapter of stolen yesterday before sleep, and the chapter of thrall yesterday, and then the chapter of thrall today!

...no wonder i’m tired, woof.

Officially got this boy eating mustard, collard, and dandelion greens (all good daily staple greens), and spaghetti squash! 🥰🥰 I'm so pleased to have him on a decent variety of both veggies & bugs now!!

We're trying butternut squash again next. Hoping to rotate him between those two & acorn for daily squashes. Then I can start adding other "occasional" veggies to his salads for additional variety & to see what else he likes.

He has a couple new bug orders coming soon too. I think his staples are going to be dubia roaches, BSF worms, and mealworms. With silkworms & grasshoppers when I can get them, and hornworms & waxworms as treats.
