What I would give for a DK scene in Titans 4x07 that’s a call back to 1x07 with a hint of 1x08 and 3x06. Kory is in the med bay, she’s unresponsive after they’ve reemerged from the Temple so she’s being monitored and eventually wakes up panicked. Dick is sitting beside her (he’s been next to her the whole time she’s been passed out). He reassures her that she’s ok, but scared him.

Actually I just saw someone write a mini fic about it and I was in my feelings!! I mean, Dick being by Kory's side ? On her "death bed", feeling sorry that his last words were "to hell with visions" and seeing the disappointed yet sad look on her face and just wanting to say I love you to her and for her to look at him...Cryinnnnng!

Titans 4x06: I wonder if DK have the conversation about Mar’i at the top of the episode? Do you think they’re going the “screw destiny” route with Dick? “A real man ignores mad oracles and false prophets, and forges his own destiny." I could see it being one-sided, at first. Kory has always been very emotionally intelligent and expressive. Dick has been taught to mask his feelings. Although, I think he’s been the most open with Kory and is getting better at communicating. I could see him being dismissive and shutting down at first which would totally frustrate Kory. Then Conner goes off after MM alone. They get interrupted. They have to come up with the plan to rescue Sebastian and Conner, there’s added tension from the past two episodes. Rachel or maybe Gar notice the tension and asks about it. He doesn’t talk about it. Kory gets hurt. Dick has a comes to Jesus and tells her that he didn’t say anything about Mar’i, not because he didn’t want the vision to be true, but because he wasn’t sure that’s something she wanted too, and he didn’t want to ruin what they have and lose her 🥰

I do think probably for me the biggest takeaway from both Mando season 3 and Ahsoka is that the Disney+ shows desperately need to abandon the stupid ass 8-episode format already cause both shows feel like they're trying to do so much and just don't have the time to properly flesh it all out which results in some great setups with some pretty underwhelming payoffs. And really this applies to like every streaming service period like at this point I'm just so fucking sick of TV seasons that are less than 10 episodes long. Like we seriously need to go back to the days when serialized action shows had 13 episodes per season at the bare minimum I'm not kidding.

put so much effort into marketing s2, to the point of putting spots on tv, hanging up gigantic billboards, and spreading teasers all across social media

-if they had no intention to see the show all the way through.
