In addition to all the parts of Eddie that resonate with me or my friends, this one hits too close (and gets me very excited over the episode) ❤️.

I live like 9000 km from my family (my decision, I wanted to study in Europe and then I stayed to work and build a life here) and I miss and love my family like crazy and they love me too.

But I know if I don’t ask all the time or I don’t give too much information about how my life is going in exchange, they won’t tell me anything: my brother won’t tell me about the problems with his wife until some day after we talked about X-men for half an hour; my little brother will send me videos of animals every day but won’t tell me that his dog got sick until my mom mention it. No one will tell me that my dad fell of the stairs until 6 months later.

The belief that you are part of your loved ones lives when you are apart is complicated. Thinking that you are entitled to updates of their life just leads to disappointment and Eddie needs to figure out that if he doesn’t know that Chris is getting passionate to a new hobby is because he hasn’t been asking or sharing enough.

The moment Buck snatches the tablet, he regrets the decision. It’s an invasion of privacy—but they don’t keep secrets from each other, he knows that flipping the tablet and seeing a regular tab of pornhub open won’t actually embarrass Eddie, or make him upset. Buck would make a playful comment about how his taste is vanilla, and they would move on.

The second he takes a look at the screen, however, his blood runs cold. Not necessarily because of what’s on there—but because this is suddenly a vastly different genre of invasion of privacy.

The video is paused, two men on the screen, drenched in sweat, one of them with their legs locked around the other’s waist, a large, happy grin on his face as the man between his thighs seems to be in the middle of an especially deep thrust.
