It's significant to me that Buck had his breakdown alone in that hallway. He got Athena a few more minutes. He walked away. And then he let it all sink in, on his own, in that cold dark hallway.

Because Bobby said the team was gonna need him. And he's going to keep his promise to be there for them, but - but not there, in that moment. That moment was for Buck and Buck alone.

He'll pick himself up. He'll try to help the team understand exactly what Bobby did. He'll walk his Captain to his final resting place with a face of stone.

But before that, he's going to take a moment to himself to lose his fucking shit because that's his motherfucking dad.

One of the many things that I find so endearing about bobby is the way he was always so gentle with everyone he came across during his campaign. There’s so many videos of him gently caressing the faces of the children that’d come by to see him and it’s just so adorable
