I don't want the polyamory because this is not case. I agree with this post, Issa didn’t think about Paul feelings at all but i love her anyway. BUT PAUL BAKER AND ANTON NEEDS TO BE TOGETHER AND JUST THEM ❤️❤️

I HATE when people try to “fix” a love triangle with polyamory despite it being very obvious that polyamory isn’t the solution. I’ve been watching Adults, and I keep seeing these “Paul Baker had two hands” take, as if the show doesn’t keep reinforcing that him and Issa are not compatible.

Maybe that’ll change in season 2, but we’ve been shown multiple times that Issa overlooks PB’s feelings. More importantly, we’ve been shown that Anton doesn’t!

Issa leaves PB to do her dishes during the dinner party episode, and it visibly annoys him. He even implies that this is typical behavior. Issa drops her responsibility with Annabel on PB last minute, which again, upsets him. In both occasions, it’s Anton who shows up for him. Don’t even get me started on her lying to him about already being married, despite knowing how much he appreciates honesty.

This isn’t an anti Issa post, by the way! I love her, but I’m tiered of y’all overlooking her entire character so that you can have the most ✨wholesome✨, no conflict ending. Polyamory is not a one size fits all solution to love triangles, nor is it necessarily the most narratively interesting choice.
