im thinking of changing my theme/outfit to be betta fish related! they symbolize good luck and fortune, and i've been thinking about how much i want to make a good future for people, so it just feel right :] it does mean i wont be the kuhli mahou anymore, but bettas are one of my other favorites so it all works out!

Tiny lore!

It just occurred to me that Balms would technically work on Tublades and Rampart given the world they've been born and raised in (that being the world of monster hunter stories). We've seen the Kinship stone calm raging monsters and we've seen balms do something similar. So in theory balms should work on Tublades and Rampart should they become enraged or frenzied.

It won't work if they've been infected by the frenzy though.

anyways my arc as a resident evil fan is so fun to trace because i only got into it to stop obsessing over dmc but it didn't work, so then I would just watch re cutscene compilations and video essays and plot synopsis vids in the background, so I was only half paying attention and I literally just didn't give anything abt the series a second thought but I kept seeing aeon stuff and everyone was like, "ada does this for leon! ada wants to save leon! Adas always thinking abt leon" and even though I liked the art and even though I was not really giving the series deeper thought, I knew that could not be the case because omg how is this character who is a literal spy only focused on this ugly little white man she met. and then i went back and looked at everything with a critical eye and aha! I was right! ada literally does not exist for leon! She does so much! And from there it snowballed and now I am in the ada trenches making crazed posts in the middle of the night

"why do they word this sx in a way that will make you misinterpret the question if you have this sx" because that's the point. these tests are not thought up with self dxing in mond, they are thought up with the idea that you will be in a room with a license professional and if you read that question and you go "what does everything mean" the professional will see it as you showing the sx. these are meant to be done with another person who knows what, in this case, allistic looks like so when you start behaving autistically by asking questions about the questions and explaining your process, they are like oh ur autistic if that makes sense.

thats why you should always start ur self dx journey with the dsm criteria because that helps you understand what the professionals are looking for and you can look at the intention of the questions themselves. the wording is shitty on purpose imho.

When I was younger and researching the autism diagnosis criteria and symptoms, I thought “oh I couldn’t POSSIBLY be autistic.” Because when I read “takes everything literally” I thought it literally meant EVERYTHING and I was like “I don’t take EVERYTHING literally, just most things!” And I just realized the other day that it didn’t actually mean EVERYTHING and that was an overstatement.

Because Wilds is coming out, I decided to make new characters in Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise. I tried making TKB in World, but then he just ended up becoming Marik -- like, oops my hand slipped here's Marik -- and I can't make a satisfying TKB in Rise to save my life. I mean, I still made him as well as I could, but it's hard when most options for men in MH just don't look right to me. TKB has a Palico named Ryou and a Palamute named Diabound. Marik's Palico is based on a sandcat's design, and I named him Meowmima.

You accomplished everything you set your mind to and that's why I reached for the moon because I've seen you conquer the universe.

Here's the souls of our dear party members ! Mh ? Oh, you're mad that you can't know what their soul types are ? Well, you can actually guess, Siffrin and Chara gave you some hints in all of them, and the shades I took come directly from screenshots of the game with saturation off.

Here you can see a bit more of Siffrin and Chara's dynamic, Siffrin just have a very annoyingly mean voice in their head, greeeaaat. It's kinda like Loop and Siffrin's dynamic, but without the connection (Twohats and all) and...with a lot of little changes as well actually. Don't worry, you'll learn all of them soon enough

Oh, also, english's not my first language, so I tried to make some wordplays here but I'm not sure if it works well, hope it does
