Episode 2 ~ Two Of A Kind
The co-star was a hunk of a man who went by Maxwell Shaw, that was his birth name at least. His screen name? Max Pump.
Look, I don't make the names but the moment he tells me I can't help but laugh. I would say it's a bit on the nose but I guess it works for him, doesn't it? Any ways, we were talking because he was able to catch me before I could slither away from here and get back home. I do admit, Maxwell here is about a ten out of ten, physically at least. The man is sculpted well and I admit seeing him like this so close gets me a little hot in the face even after what I've just seen, maybe especially because of what I've just seen? I donât think Eva was putting on much of an act at least.
"So Eva's your friend huh? How'd you think it go?"Â He asked, I guess not needing to clean up as much as Eva had. The man washed his groin off with a towel thrown his way and slipped on his pants with the familiarity of someone thatâs done it a hundred times.Â
"I don't know dude, you tell me? How'd you think she did?"Â He's the expert isn't he?
"I thought she did well for her first time, definitely. Started off slow but I think she got into it which is always important."
"Mmhmm,"Â I say for lack of anything better to say. This was not a topic I really wanted to get into.
"So, are you looking to give it a try?"
"Wait, give what a try?" I can see right away he means this, porn. I guess that was why I was here wasn't it? I can try to deny it but I was curious how things would go and now that I've seen it with my own eyes? "N-no, I don't think it would be for me, nothing against it but-"
"Araceli, isn't it?" He gives me a look over and it feels like the first time he's really taken me in or noticed me at all. Can't blame him, he was kind of busy a few moments ago. "Yeah, I've seen your posts. You'd be a millionaire in a year with that body, guaranteed."
"Yeah..." I appreciate the compliment and all but he was just imagining me naked. Look, I get it, I completely understand sex appeal but still you donât go up to someone and admit in any form that you were imagining them naked. "It's certainly something to think about I guess."

Man in a Suitcase: Find the Lady (1.12, ITC, 1967)
"I'm very sorry."
"I like to watch you when you say that. Your face is not accustomed to apologising."
"You're not making it easy."
#man in a suitcase#find the lady#1967#itc#classic tv#phillip broadley#robert tronson#richard bradford#patrick cargill#maxwell shaw#jeanna roland#john garrie#robert rietty#norma foster#clive cazes#guido adorni#carlos douglas#an early episode in production termsâ it was around this time that Bradford began to become really frustrated with the attitudes of the#producers and money men involved in the series. as in the pilotâ he significantly redacted his dialogue to make it punchier and more#realisticâ and he was still busily applying his own gratuitous bloody make up for the aftermath of fight scenes; but bts tensions were#building and the star even offered to buy himself out of his contract at one point. regardless of the drama behind the camera and#regardless of a rather bland plotâ this episode does do some character building on McGill very well. he's been in Italy before whilst with#US Intelligenceâ he balances the value of his life by the potential reward of a case as well as its possible dangersâ he admits to feeling#afraid and finding it difficult to trust. most notable of all is his reaction to a character death in this episode; he's visibly shakenâ#finds it difficult to talk and even appears to be close to tears. it's a rare moment of real deep emotion and not the kind of naturalistic#reaction to violent death that you often find in an ITC series (and it's a very good performance by Bradford too)#Cargill was a familiar face on british tv in the 60s but this is a fairly rare big role for Maxwell Shawâ who often played smaller supports#that could have something to do with the fact he was married to the series casting director... as with several other episodes this was#retitled late in productionâ having been shot under the title My Brother Julio (the renaming was particularly good here)

Da wir uns jetzt doch nicht recht durchringen konnten, dem zweiten Daniel-Craig-Bond A Quantum of Solace noch eine Chance zu geben, schauten wir stattdessen den zweiten Connery-Bond From Russia with Love. Is âDear Edwardâ Based On A True Story? A Real Plane Crash Inspired The Apple TV+ Series
Apple TV+âs Dear Edward, a new drama from Friday Night Lights and Parenthood creator Jason Katims, tells a story that seems almost too bizarre to be true. But is it? The 10-episode series, which dropped its first three episodes on February 3, is an adaptation of Ann Napolitanoâs 2020 novel of the same name. The series follows a 12-year-old boy named Edward (Colin OâBrien), who became the soleâŠ

Showdown 2k25
Just like last year I want to kick January off with a flat popularity contest, showdown 2k25.
Automatically competing - everyone from last year (list), with the following exceptions
Last years winner - Donna Noble
Possibly Rose Tyler as the 2023 winner, but I need to think on it a bit more
I'm going to reassess a few from last year, specifically the real people
Rules for new nominees (tardis wiki list referenced below)
Anyone on the list will automatically be accepted
TV companions MUST be on the list
EU companions not on the list will be considered on a case by case basis. If they meet a reasonable definition of companion I will accept them, basic guideline is has their own tardis wiki article so I can actually check, multiple stories with the Doctor, none of these guidelines are hard rules, if you can justify them to me, I'll let them in
Propaganda is not carrying over from last year, if you want to go to bat for someone, use this same form
You can use this form to make multiple nominations/give multiple bits of propaganda at once.
You have until at least the 1st of January
list of competitors, anyone in green has propaganda submitted for them

Soft Spot
Pairing: David 'Deacon' Kay x shy!assistant!fem!reader
Summary: When you're kidnapped and used as a pawn, Deacon sets out to find you. Once you're tied up together, he changes his goals regarding your safety, finding a soft spot in the kidnappers and himself.
Warnings: spoilers (rewrite) for SWAT episode 3x15 "Knockout"; angst to fluff
Word Count: 3.4k+ words
A/N: Deacon in a suit + Street's scene in the luxury box = one of the best episodes.
Picture from Pinterest
You have only been Gio Torresâs personal assistant for a week - since he arrived in Los Angeles - but he got attached to you quickly. Your shy demeanor and kindness toward his wife made it easy for Gio to decide he likes you.
âWhere are we going?â you ask quietly.
âTo meet the security team, hermana,â Gio answers, smiling as he wraps his arm around Esther.
Frowning when you think of meeting even more people, Gio takes pity on you and offers to handle the introductions.
âThey donât need to know who I am, Gio,â you remind him. âIâm just here for you and Esther.â
Gio tilts his head to the side as Esther replies, âAnd if they want to meet you?â
âI hope they donât,â you mumble.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
When you enter the arena, a few men in suits are standing around a television displaying the buildingâs blueprint. You notice the one closest to the screen is attractive and immediately drop your chin as he looks toward you. Walking behind Gio, though, you donât expect heâll even realize youâre there. Most people donât.
âHey, champ,â the other man greets. âThis is my business partner, David Kay. Heâs managing our security team. Meet Gio Torres, reigning welterweight champion of the world, and his wife Esther.âÂ
David shakes hands with Gio and Esther before the other man excuses himself to answer his phone.Â
âItâs very nice to meet you,â he says. âAnd please, call me Deacon.â
âDiacono? Like padre, priest?â Gio asks.
âNo, no, itâs just a nickname.â Deacon looks to Esther to ask, âItâs your first?â
âYes,â she replies happily.
Deacon turns toward you, extending his hand. âI didnât catch your name.â
You shake his hand, giving him a small smile as you say your name. âIâm Gioâs assistant.â
âNice to meet you as well, and I guess that means weâre kind of working together.â
Nodding, youâre glad when Gio draws Deaconâs attention away.
âYou know, this place is so⊠new. We had nothing like it in Havana,â Gio explains. âOne day we will.â
âWell, best of luck to you tonight,â Deacon says. âAnd congratulations.â
âGracias, Padre.â
You shake your head at Gioâs nickname, smiling at Deacon again as you follow Gio and Esther out of the arena. You can feel Deaconâs eyes on you, and your neck warms at the attention.
âSomeone likes padre,â Esther teases, bumping her elbow against your arm.
Rolling your eyes, you keep your head down so your giddy smile doesnât betray your secrecy.
âSĂ, claro,â Gio agrees, chuckling.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
Gio sent you to find Deacon, telling you he wants to give him something for his SWAT team. You donât know how Gio learned he was a SWAT agent when he isnât working in private security, but itâs your job to get what Gio wants, so you go. Standing to the side and waiting for him to notice you, you accidentally overhear his conversation.
âArenât these fights usually in Vegas?â the woman beside him asks.
âYeah,â Deacon answers. âBut Maxwell wanted to fight in his own hometown.â
âWhy does the former champion get to call the shots?â
âThatâs why.â
Deacon points to Jackie Shaw, who you had the displeasure of meeting this morning. Heâs full of himself and has a wandering eye. He may be the biggest promoter and responsible for the biggest fight of the season, but he does not seem like a good man.
âIâm gonna make the rounds,â Deacon says, turning toward you. He stops when he sees you, smiling as he says your name.
âYou remembered?â
âHow could I not?â
Pressing your lips together and dropping your eyes to the floor, you say, âGio wants to see you when you have a minute.â
âI can go now. Care to show me the way?â
Looking up, the smile on his face makes you think he knows that his actions are impacting you. When he falls into step beside you, keeping his attention on you as you walk, you realize that Esther was right; you do like him, but youâll never be able to act on it.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
âOi, Padre,â Gio greets as you lead Deacon into the room.
âIâm going to go with the driver to get Esther from the hotel,â you tell Gio.Â
You nod at Deacon on your way out, and the look he gives you makes you wish you could stay.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
You walk out of the hotel, answering an email from Jackie Shawâs marketing team as you get in the car. Esther should be out in a moment, but the door beside you opens suddenly, and a man you donât recognize climbs inside.
âUh, I think youâre in the wrong car,â you tell him.
The car begins moving, and you ask the driver to go back, but he doesnât acknowledge you. When you look out the window, the man beside you unsheathes a serrated knife, holding it up so you can see it.
âDonât yell for help,â he demands.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
Deacon is doing his rounds again when he stops by Gioâs locker room.
âMy nephews are gonna go nuts. Thank you,â Chris says, accepting a signed poster.
âDe nada,â Gio replies.
Esther and one of the security guards enter the room, and Deacon looks over when Esther says your name.
âNo esta aqui?â Esther asks.
âNo.â
They continue speaking in Spanish, and Deacon can tell theyâre distressed and concerned about something. He doesnât like that your name is involved.
âWhatâs wrong?â he asks Chris.
âHis assistant disappeared from the hotel. His trainerâs out looking for her.â
Someone knocks on the door, and Deacon steps in front of him. âHey, not now. You can get a selfie later.â
âHey, Torres, Iâm supposed to deliver this to you,â the man says.
âLet me see that. Chris,â Deacon calls.
âStand right here. Donât move,â Chris demands, pulling the man into the room.
âThereâs a voice mail.â Deacon presses play, his jaw clenched as he listens to the distorted voice.
âWe have your hermana, your assistant. Lose this fight or she dies. No cops, or your wife is next.â
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
âYou got the wrong girl!â a man yells.
You flinch at the sudden noise. Tied to a chair, blindfolded, and gagged, you have no way of knowing who the men are or what they're doing in here.
âHow do you mistake her for Gioâs pregnant wife?â
âShe was in the car, I didnât know!â
âHe likes her, so itâll have to work. That or we find another chance to get the wife.â
âItâll work.â
Thatâs what youâre worried about.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
âWhat can I do to help?â Gio asks.
âYour weigh-inâs about to start. If you donât show up, people will know somethingâs wrong,â Chris answers. âIt might alert the kidnappers.â
âI know this is hard. But you have to go out there and pretend that everything is normal. We have people with your wife, they canât get to her, and weâre doing everything we can to find the people who did this,â Deacon promises.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
Deacon notices a man filming Gio at the weigh-in and follows him out of the arena, pausing in an alley to call Hondo.
âYeah, Deac, talk to me. Whatâs going on?â Hondo asks.
âThere was a suspicious guy around the weigh-in. White, six foot, 25 to 30. Itâs probably nothing, but I want to check it out,â Deacon replies. âHe walked into an old factory six blocks from the arena.â
âYou got an address?â
âTwelfth and Maple. Northwest alley.â
âStreetâs callinâ for backup, Deac.â
âIâll keep you posted.â
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
Secured to the chair and blindfolded, you canât see when people come or go, and have no idea where you are. Several men have been in and out, and you try to breathe quietly and listen for them.
A voice - Deacon, you know immediately - says your name before asking, âAre you okay? Iâm here to help.â He lifts the blindfold over your head and says, âHey.â
You pant as he pulls the gag from your mouth, nodding as you thank him. Deacon kneels beside you, keeping a hand on your arm. He pulls his phone from his pocket and talks while he unties you.
âHey, Hondo,â he says. âI found her. Sheâs tied up, but sheâs okay.â
You shake your arm, trying to alert Deacon of the men entering the room, but it doesnât work, so you turn your head toward him, hoping to find comfort in his presence.
âStand up,â one of the men commands.
Deacon drops something into a box, moving his phone to his pocket as he stands and raises his hands in surrender. Both men point guns at Deacon, and you push back against your chair, hoping that this doesnât end terribly.
âI probably shouldnât be here, huh?â Deacon asks. âI followed him from the weigh-in. I was in the room when Torres heard the message, and- and he begged me not to do anything, but I⊠I thought if I found his assistant, you know, maybe heâd give a reward or something. Look, the name is Schupatz. Iâm just a security guard. I donât want any trouble.â
âTurn around,â the men demand.
âI donât want to cause any problems.â
Deacon turns, and you flinch when heâs hit over the head with the butt of a gun. Bringing your shoulder to your cheek, you look away and try to hide, but the man turns to you, forcing you to drink a strange-colored medicine before everything goes dark.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
You regain consciousness before Deacon, watching him as you sit in the dusty room. He tips his head back and groans before opening his eyes.
âYou okay?â you ask quietly.
âYeah,â he answers. âAre you?â
With Deaconâs complete attention on you, despite the life-threatening situation, you grow shy and can only shrug.
âDid they hurt you?â
âGave me medicine that knocked me out,â you explain.
âYou feel okay?â
Nodding, you look at Deaconâs shoes.
âI donât know the men who did this, but help is on the way,â Deacon promises. âThere are people looking for you. Theyâll come for me too. Iâm a police officer.â
âSWAT,â you murmur.
âHowâd you- Gio. Right?â Deacon looks around, and you flex your wrists under the rope. âAll right, we got to get out of here. They need you alive as leverage until Gio loses the fight. But theyâll get rid of me soon enough. Unless we get out of here first.â
âWhat can I do?â
âBest thing you can do? Stay calm. Iâm gonna get us out of here.â
You nod as Deacon moves his arms, trying to find a way to get free.
âWill Gio really lose?â you ask, looking at Deaconâs face.
âFor you? Of course.â
He smiles as he answers, and you find it much easier to stay calm.
âWhoâs Schupatz?â
âA clue to help my team find us, I hope.â
Nodding, you fall silent again. While you watch Deacon, you take his advice to stay calm and trust him. Heâs breathing deeply from trying to free himself, and when he pauses, you decide to try talking to him again.
âThe medicine they made me drink⊠will it hurt me?â
âNah. Youâll be fine. I promise.â
âGio and Esther have to be okay. If they have to leave early because of me, and their baby is born in Cuba, their lives are as good as over. They need to stay in America, Deacon. Tonight canât be the end for them.â
âNo, and it wonât be,â Deacon agrees, raising his arms again before the door opens.
You fold in on yourself, moving back as a man kneels before you, offering an open bottle.
âItâs just water,â he says.
Looking at Deacon, you wait for him to say, âItâs okay,â before taking a drink.
You feel a bit better, your dry lips and throat soothed by the water, but you furrow your brows at the look on Deaconâs face. He waits for the men to exit, closing the door behind them, to speak.
âI think we just found their soft spot,â he explains. He doesnât mention that heâs developing his own soft spot for you.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
You force yourself to cry, screaming in faux pain as you push yourself against the control youâre tied to. Hooking your arm through it, pretending to be trapped, you follow Deaconâs instructions exactly.
âHey, she needs help!â Deacon yells toward the door. âSheâs losing circulation!â
The door opens, and two men enter, looking between you and Deacon.
âShe tried to turn around and her arm got caught, you need to get her help,â Deacon explains. âLook, Iâm a trained medic. All right? Let me out of here. Let me help her.â
âUnlock him,â one of the men says.
You continue your act as Deacon is released, standing before pushing one of the men against the wall and reaching for his taser. The second man grabs Deacon from behind, slamming him against the metal machinery heâs been tied to for what seems like forever. He groans as the men resecure his bindings, elevating his arms over his head.
âTorres is gonna lose the fight. Heâs gonna do whatever you want, so there is no reason to keep her trapped like an animal,â Deacon exclaims. âLet her go.â
The men leave without another word, and you lean your face against your hands as Deaconâs chin drops toward his chest.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
âHow much time do you think we have?â You stretch your legs toward Deacon, wishing you were feeling talkative for any other reason.
âI donât know,â he answers.
âWhat are we going to do? And please donât say you donât know.â
Deacon chuckles, raising his shoulders. âOw.â
âWhat?â you ask, looking up as Deacon moves his hands on the metal beam above him.
You hear the wire around his wrists scrubbing, and you know it has to be torture on his shoulders, but you grow hopeful at the prospect of Deacon freeing himself.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
âFootsteps,â you alert, just as Deaconâs arms drop, the wire snapping.
He rises, stumbling as he gains his bearings before moving to a corner behind the door to wait. Deacon is keeping his promise, and once you are safe, heâs going to try to make you shy again. Itâs not necessarily a noble goal, but if itâs enough to get him through the fight, thatâs all he needs.
One man enters, and Deacon waits for him to walk past before wrapping one arm around his neck, pulling tightly until the man collapses. You watch as Deacon finds a taser in his pocket, taking it before moving to untie you.
âAll right. Come here,â Deacon whispers, helping you to your feet. âAre you in any actual pain or was that just really good acting?â
âIâm okay.â
Deacon looks into your eyes, nodding before leading you into a hallway. Someone yells, the sound echoing through the building.
âYou can go without me, Deacon,â you offer, trying to release his hand.
His grip tightens, and he pulls you closer. âNo, listen. Go in here. Iâm going to lock you in here. Youâll be safe. Trust me, theyâre gonna think you escaped. You just stay as quiet as possible.â
You grab his hand again, finding the courage to look directly into his brown eyes as you ask, âWill you come back?â
âI promised, didnât I?â
You nod, releasing his hand and stepping back as the metal door closes on you.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
While you grow scared, alone in a locked room, Deacon is working on keeping his promise. A few blocks away, Gio is throwing a fight to save you. If your life werenât in danger, you wouldnât be able to handle this much attention.
You hear a police officer radio that a suspect is down and call for help. The door opens, and a man in a SWAT uniform identifies himself as a police officer.
âI got you,â he says, leading you to another officer, who takes you toward the door.
In another part of the theater, Deacon climbs onto the edge of a balcony, waiting for the right moment to drop onto the Schupatz lookalike, attempting to tase him before fighting over a gun. As they roll over one another, the trigger is pulled, and several bullets are fired into the large projector screen showing the fight.
Deacon rises to his hands and knees, knocking the other man off balance as he stands. Moving behind him, Deacon tackles the man, knocking over the projector as they fall together. Pinning the man to the floor, Deacon punches him until he stops fighting back.
âDeac!â Tan yells, entering the theater.
Deacon says your name and Hondo answers, âSheâs outside with the EMTs.â
âWe got the whole crew,â Street adds.
âItâs good to see you, Schupatz,â Hondo jokes.
âGood to see you, too,â Deacon replies. âAll of you.â
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
At the same time that Gio learns you are safe and turns the tide of the fight, you are watching the theater entrance for Deacon. When he walks out, rushing toward you, you stand and meet him halfway, hugging him tightly and pressing your face into his dirty blazer.
âYour face is cut, sir, weâre gonna need to tape that,â an EMT says.
âGive me a minute,â Deacon answers, tightening his grip on you.
âLet âem do their job,â you murmur.
Deacon huffs, and you feel his heartbeat as you pull away. Holding your hand, Deacon pulls you with him as the paramedic cleans and tapes the cut on his cheekbone.
âStill pretty,â you whisper.
Smiling widely, Deacon turns his head toward you. When you duck your head and try to pull your hand from Deaconâs, he chuckles and tugs you closer.
âThis would be a terrible time to find out youâre leaving with Torres,â he murmurs.
You shake your head, explaining youâre based in Los Angeles but do freelance work with celebrities while theyâre in town. Deacon is sure youâre a popular choice, unwilling or unable to talk to celebrities simply because of who you are.
âEsther went into labor,â Hondo tells Deacon. âTheyâre at Shaw Memorial.â
Deacon leads you to a grey Dodge Charger, taking the keys from Street before helping you into the passenger seat. He smiles as he drives, glad he completed both promises: getting you out safe and making you shy afterward.
âŻâŻâŻâŻâŻ
âHi,â you greet, walking into Estherâs hospital room.
Deacon enters behind you, waiting at the foot of the bed while you hug Gio and Esther, extending a finger to their new baby. Chris arrives a moment later, and Gio turns his attention to her and Deacon.
âIâm not sure how to thank you,â he expresses, hugging Chris.
Deacon watches you and the baby, a caring look in his eye accompanying his smile.
âPadre,â Gio greets, shaking Deaconâs hand before hugging him too.
You roll your eyes at the nickname again, and Deacon smiles when he notices.
âMira,â Gio says, directing attention to his son.
âWe name him Jorge,â Esther adds.
âCongratulations,â Chris offers.
âWelcome to the world, little man,â Deacon cheers, looking at Jorge before his eyes return to you.
Chris moves to close the door, and Deacon tears his eyes from you to speak to Gio and Esther. âSo I know this isnât a great time, but the Cuban delegation is camped out down the hall. This might be our only chance to talk.â
âThey charted a flight to Havana for you, leaving Monday morning,â Chris adds.
âSo I contacted your immigration lawyer in San Francisco, and he said heâll be here Sunday night.â
âThank you so much,â Gio replies. âPero, how did you know?â
âSomeone gets talktative when theyâre held hostage,â Deacon jokes, looking over at you.
âGracias, hermana,â Gio says, pulling you into another hug.
Youâre glad to hide from Deacon for a moment, but when itâs time to leave, he takes your hand, and your skin warms immediately.
âI shouldnât talk to you ever again,â you tell him.
âBut you will?â he asks.
You nod, and Deacon turns to you, the same caring look present in his eyes as he raises his free hand to your cheek.
âThen Iâm glad I kept my promise.â
âSeems like you have a soft spot too,â you mumble against his hand, leaning toward him.
âMaybe I do,â Deacon agrees, smiling as he moves his hand, wrapping his arm over your shoulder and pulling you close. He kisses the crown of your head and laughs when you turn to hide against his suit again.

8th December 1987: The Scottish Land Court ordered the English owner of the Hebridean Island of Soay to sell more than half the island to a crofter who had lived there for more than 41 years.
Born in 1919, Joseph "Tex" Geddes - typically, he claimed he was given his nickname by a Red Indian fellow commando.
By his own account, he was born in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, and taken to Canada by his father when he was two, following a trivial altercation with the police. Others maintain he was raised by an aunt, the youngest of three fighting brothers, in Easter Ross, and never went to Canada in his life. His neighbours in nearby Skye believed that he hailed from Australia.
In the book Hebridean Sharker Tex Geddes describes his exploits during the 1950s as a hunter of basking sharks in the waters of the Minch, between the Inner and Outer Hebrides. Using an adapted whaling harpoon, he and his crew stalked these huge fish often in perilous conditions, the liver of which is a valuable source of oil.
Always a maverick, before World War Two Geddes had been a boxer and a rumrunner to Newfoundland. During the war he established a reputation as an expert knife-thrower and bayonet fencer and served in the Special Forces with fellow hebridean Gavin Maxwell (author of Ring of Bright Water), and was a central character in Maxwell's Harpoon at a Venture
He combined the hazardous pursuit of sharks with crewing the local lifeboat, ring-net fishing, lobstering, deer-stalking and salmon poaching.
Thesubject of previous posts, historian of Gaelic culture Margaret Fay Shaw said of him: "Tex was a great storyteller and important as such. He was also immensely kind, and had that hunger for life and fun that is essential if you are to make a go of living in these islands. The Hebrides needs more people like Tex Geddes. So does the world
He went on to purchase the tiny island of Soay, where he lived with his wife Jeanne, Geddes continued fishing basking sharks, selling unprocessed livers rather than processed oil to Glasgow. While much of the remaining population of the island evacuated to Mull in 1953, Geddes and his family remained. Geddes protested at the lack of emergency telephone services and with the threat of loss of postal service to the remaining inhabitants of the island, he asked people to send him registered letters and packages. As a result the service was kept with post arriving once a month.
Today the island has a population of three, and the post arrives once a month. The population peaked at 158 in 1851, following eviction of crofters from Skye in the Clearances.
Tex Geddes, died on 11th April 1998 while returning from a bagpiping competition in the Outer Hebrides

Episode 2 ~ Two Of A Kind
And just when I think things were safe things go...well, sideways, or should I say horizontal?
I didn't even see the co-star, I guess that's what fucked me up, because out comes this guy with a hard on and in the scene he comes. She says a few cheesy lines like; "Well, if it isn't SPRING," get it? Because his too large ding dong was springing up and down and...any ways, the man laughs and goes on about how he forgot his clothes or some non-sensical reason for him to be naked in the middle of what looks to me a rather beautiful park and of course she's in his lap, kissing, making out, drooling all over his lips really and then things get horizontal.
"Watcher," I groan, kind of regretting coming here. I could have been home lecturing my followers about the kind of cheap lipstick brands you should avoid or something and instead I was watching a friend get nailed to the ground.
"Louder, louder! Let them hear it!" the cameraman and director asks of Eva because apparently constant moaning and wailing is what gets viewers off. I wished I hadnât turned down those free headphones right about now.
Either way I stick around and watch or kind of watch but I could not watch the end. Let's just say Eva had to immediately go clean her face after the whole thing.

And only 1 I could see myself in long term relationship with. No well.... maybe I could see myself in long term relationships with all of them. But only 1 of them would fit me perfectly. 1. Raven. Perfect fit. 2. Dalton. 3. Sam. 4. Daniel. 5. Evan.
Would your OCâs be attracted to you?

The Saint: The Art Collectors (5.18, ITC, 1967)
"I don't understand you, Mr. Templar."
"Why, it isn't that I object to doing the fair thing, it's just that I don't like being forced to do it at gunpoint."
#the saint#the art collectors#1967#itc#leslie charteris#michael pertwee#roy ward baker#roger moore#ann bell#peter bowles#geoffrey bayldon#nadja regin#james maxwell#philo hauser#richard shaw#garfield morgan#bryan kendrick#i actually have seen this one before but for some reason literally the only part i remembered was Simon eating a sandwich during an escape#attempt (it's a nice little character moment in a very playful episode). we're in france with priceless paintings and would be thieves#so this feels very traditionalâ very reminiscent of the black and white series. we've another great castâ headed by the lovely Ann Bell#and she's reunited with her 3.17 costar James Maxwell!! they're not on the same side this time tho... JM also having a great deal of fun as#a German pretending to be French pretending to be Geoffrey Bayldonâ and the look he conjures as Simon rips off his fake beard is really#quite something. and then there's Peter Bowles and Garfield Morgan... these casts are getting very impressive! the plot here isn't the#tightest tbhâ with a little too much repetitive back and forth with the paintingsâ but it's a lighterâ fluffier episode and that's always#welcome. it is telling that the conclusion of the episode has Simon supporting the Russian's claim on the da Vinci paintings and helping#to get them returned to their 'rightful home' in a Russian museum; with the original owner dead and with no descendants wouldn't it make#just as much sense to return the paintings to Italy?? idk#oh!! i almost forgot!! Simon uses the stick figure calling card for what im pretty certain is the first time in the series (it's generally#only been used to frame him so far or perhaps once to frame himself to go undercover or something) but yeah he does it for real!
