The puppet wasn't fully sure why they started laughing. A word read wrong on the back on a book, the silliness of the moment turning harder to contain, or his own comments about the owner of the library, a churchman who, in P's words, resembled more a mouse than a human.

A comment followed another, a chuckle pushed another. The puppet's expression rarely changed, he rarely laughed to begin with, but there was something in the levity of it all that made him do so: it was a gentle laugh, almost shy, but not any less contagious. The kiss arrived just a few seconds after mouse-face shushed them while passing by, a… creative attempt to stop the giggles. It was quick, gentle, they barely had the time to register what, exactly, hey did, before the chuckles returned to echo in the halls. Again the puppet kissed the other, again their volume increased just to get muffled by the next kiss, and the next, and the next.

It's an odd feeling. A new one, a welcome one.

He heard of many people kissing lately. Something about a celebration of a week earlier or so, that Venigni hyped up for days and days with little results.

The puppet didn't really see what was the big deal, really. He recieved a smooch or two in the past, usually planted on his cheeks as greetings, but that was about it. So... guess this was the topic of today's conversation with Giangio, the only one (seemingly) not particularly busy, bothering him with a bunch of confused questions and complaints about not truly getting what was so good about giving someone a kiss and recieving half-answers in return, as vague and timid as always, saying something about he should give kissing a chance before judging, like most things in life.

Which... made sense, actually. Frowning lightly and tilting his head left and right for a second, the puppet leaned closer, not really waiting for Giangio to notice him getting closer before planting his lips on the other's cheeks out of the blue.

"...I guess I see the appeal?"

I mean. It was cute, he guesses?

Tests was more Giangio's thing, really, but at this point the alchemist should've understood that Pinocchio was just as curious as he was, to the point of occasionally forgetting about what would be considered too intimate ;; even if, all things considered, that could be the last of his problems given how he's currently once more on the operation table, with his chest half open.

In that case, he found himself fixated on the other's hands - and that, accompanied with his newfound appreciation for kisses after his previous 'experiments', meant that yet another boundary was going to be crossed, today! Holding Giangio's hand, surprisingly delicate, the Puppet moved the man's palm near his lips, giving it a gentle kiss.

"...it's soft." Completely unaware of the implication.
