Marwadi khana (home chef gurugram)
Marwadi khana (home chef gurugram)
In a nutshell: Outstanding home made gujias that had thin crisp shells, the right amount of sweetness, the flavour of good ghee, every bite was a medley of textures. Loved both the platters we ordered – one snacky, one lunch. Our Instagram post The food in general was really good – it seemed to be made in volume & i guess if cooked in small batches (like home) it would have been even…

Top 5 delicious overloaded thalis that you must try in Delhi
When we crave the tantalising flavours of Kerala, we head to Mahabelly for their enormous thali. They dish out a dramatic fare of curries, stews, vegetables with chapatis, rice and parottas. Word to the wise: do not forget to try their mango prawn curry.
Where: Mandir Marg, Saket District Centre, District Centre, Sector 6, Saket, New Delhi
thalis
Ghoomar
One is always in for a surprise when visiting Ghoomar. Serving delicious Rajasthani food, Ghoomar’s thali menu changes frequently, offering a mix of curries, vegetables and other delicacies (for instance, their baati-churma or Marwadi khichda). Their portions are more than generous so do bring a king-sized appetite.
Where: K18 & K22, Block K, Connaught Place, New Delhi
Potbelly Rooftop Cafe
If there is a destination for Bihari food in Delhi, it is this. The thalis (yes there are multiple options to pick from) are the most authentic part of Potbelly Rooftop Cafe. You must try the Dana Jhamarua Thali that features a preparation of eggplant and potato in a mustard gravy that comes with rice flour rotis and spicy poppy seeds. We also recommend the Tarkari Thali with channa dal, pumpkin, stuffed dal kachori and aloo pudina raita.
Where: 116-C, 4th Floor, Shahpur Jat, New Delhi

Just a reminder- Don’t forget to stay healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle- Visit: diet plan
Chor Bizarre
Love the lure of authentic Kashmiri flavours served in mighty portions? The best of it is found in Chor Bizarre. Order their Wazwan with Roganjosh, goshtaba, tabak maaz and Kashmiri kukkad served with rice. They also do a vegetarian version with beans, dum aloo, khatte baingan and nadru yakhni.
Where: Bikaner House, Pandara Road, India Gate, New Delhi
Visit: everydayhere for more updates.
Yeti, the Himalayan Kitchen
While the Tibetan food here is to die for, we especially love their Nepali Thali or Thakali. The platter may sound basic but cooked in mustard oil with fresh ingredients, it is a true treat. Look out for the gundruk sadeko achar (a fermented spinach pickle). The simple dal and rice are complemented well with a hoard of veggies like paneer, sarso ka saag, fried korela bhuteko and piro aloo.
Where: 30, Hauz Khas Rd, near Deer Park, Hauz Khas Village, Deer Park, Hauz Khas, New Delhi
