Dreams I had about Mario

So this post just details a buncha dreams i had regarding Mario Games.

So when i was younger I was an avid enjoyer of Galaxy 2, and I would occasionally watch some content related to Galaxy 1 and 2. Back when it was around I had gotten a copy of 3d All-Stars, which allowed me to play Galaxy 1 for the first time. While playing I was reminded of a few dreams I had when I was way younger.

The first one I can remember was about an addition to Galaxy 2. If you used Cloud Mario in a specific way on Spaceship Mario. you could get to a floating ship. (This would be after completing the rest of the game, i think, green stars and all). This ship would be like a basic pirate ship, but it would be empty except for a launch star at the front of the lower layer that would take you to different levels. Strangely enough the layout of the first world greatly resembles Yoshi's Sinking Island from Odyssey, just more compact, no rising lava, and with different textures like clouds instead of lava. The enemies and such would be different too, of course, but that's really all i remember from it so like. After you beat a galaxy for the first time a specific slot on the ship would open up with a warp star to the galaxy as well as some pictures or collectables or whatever. I remember just messing with Cloud Mario, seeing how far up i can go. Then the Reveille that was the alarm woke me up and i was irritated that it wasn't real. Actually for a time i thought I had stumbled across some modded content that i happened to dream about.

The second one to talk about is a dream about Super Mario Galaxy 3. As of today I can't remember all that much about it, just bits and pieces of the first level and the "final bowser fight level." Something I remember from the first level is that when you start there was a tree stump you'd land on, and next to it was a hollow fallen tree which you'd go inside and traverse, kinda getting newcomers acquainted with the mechanics of the game? I don't really remember anything else from the first level (or i didn't end up dreaming it). I remember that the hub world would be Rosalina's Comet Observatory again, except it would function way more like Spaceship Mario to the point where it was basically just Spaceship Mario again, just reskinned to look like the Comet Observatory. Npcs and Little Awards would show up as you progress, and the way you progress is a lot more linear than Galaxy 1, while still having a lot of options to choose from. The level leading up to the Final Bowser fight (i.e. the last level of world 6) would be kinda like a rehashing of the first galaxy but with the difficulty cranked up to 9, invoking a nostalgia of the first level while giving the player the ability to use their skills and a buncha powerups while having them face off a buncha tougher enemies to really make them feel like this is the end of their journey (of course there'd be bonus levels but we dont talk about that). The part leading up to the final Bowser confrontation would be a buncha colored and Galaxy-reminiscient blocks in a weird arrangement that would make a left onto a platform where bowser stood. Im not sure if i explained it in good detail but its the best I could come up with

The Third One is less of a dream and more of a I thought of the basics in a dream and then started daydreaming about it once. Paper Mario Galaxy, where you utilize the Paperiness to make interesting levels, and then Mario Galaxy 3 would act like M&L Paper Jam, where Paper Mario and Mario team up in a Galaxy style adventure. We can just skip over this one, prob not even gonna put something for it in the tags

In order to defeat Castle Bowser for good, Mario had himself transformed into a spaceship. They are now trapped in an eternal battle, neither able to ever stop fighting without losing. The threat that Castle Bowser posed has been neutralized.

But at what cost...?

Ok so I've been thinking about this speech from the Whomp King lately:

So the whomps build the buildings and pave roads, but I cannot help but think HOW?

They have small stubby arms and legs.

So this led me to coming up with a small headcannon as to how they can achieve this.

Basically, whomps can manipulate the earth in a manner that combines earth bending in A:TLA and the construction coven in ToH.

However since their limbs are small, they can only do so through their feet.

This has some small basis because in Super Mario Galaxy 2, we can see the Whomp King making small versions of whomps to help him fight Mario by summoning/creating them with his feet.

Sure that's (most likely) an ability that he has being a king and all, but it would make sense for his abilities to be more powerful than regular whomps. This would then mean regular whomps only possess the earth manipulation as I mentioned above.

I know this isn't that much well thought out, but I like the idea because how else would they do it?

Plus, I like making headcannons lol. It's just fun.

I have a hard time accepting Rosalina being Mareach’s daughter headcanon bc it means Peach died young, but I wonder if she’s actually Peach’s mom???

Baby Peach wears a galaxy print skirt in the movie….is it possible her mother sent her to the MK on purpose???

Hi! There are people who have already played Rosalina's mother (or her family), there are also fans who say that theory that Peach is Rosalina's mother, I even like that theory, but let's say you make an oc where it would be her mother (?)

Well maybe you like it (or not) so enjoy reading:

As we only have a few images in the Mario galaxy game of Rosalina's mother, but we have some information:

> She looks similar to Peach (everyone knows that obviously) with blonde hair (?) and her smile too. > Her dress is the same color as Rosalina's, perhaps it is a little older than her daughter. > She died and Rosalina was very close to her mother.

Well, with this information it looked like this in my AU:

She was common, but I used different eyes than the ones I use in Gacha Life because I wanted, for me she would be like the moon but in human form (mixed with Peach JDKDHD) and her husband (Rosalina's father) would be like the sun.

(Plus I have a headcanon of Rosalina's father too! He would be more or less like Luigi (since the theory says that the green plumber is her father) but with blonde hair to look like Rosalina and that he would wear green in his clothes)

Also in my AU, Rosalina's parents were guardians of the galaxy (just like her daughter) and they were parents of the lumas, but as the queen was pregnant with Rosalina, they had to return to earth, as they were still human, obviously, so Rosalina was born in MK.

Maybe after five or six years, because Rosalina's brother had been born (when I wrote this post I discovered that Rosalina had a brother), then that Super Mario Galaxy story happened, with that Rosalina's mother dies, so Rosalina became the next guardian of the galaxy, just like her parents.

I like to think that Rosalina's mother was also a writer in addition to being a guardian, she told several stories about the stars to her children, this perhaps led Rosalina to have a library because this way she remembers her mother and all the moments they had.

And also a spoiler for my Walsalina fankid, Rosalina and Waluigi had a daughter, just like Rosalina's mother had Rosalina, and when Rosalina sees her daughter for the first time she cries a lot because the child was similar to her mother (because every time she talks about her mother, Rosalina gets depressed or cries) but Waluigi calms her down.

Ever since Sparks of Hope came out, I wanted to give my Kingdom Battle OC, Hoodlum, a new look. But considering her whole story, name, and aesthetic was based off Rayman 3; I decided to wait until the last DLC was released before solidifying anything. But now we're here! Having magic from the Glade of Dreams means going from human to a fairy a la Ly, apparently. I don't think Fenix is complaining though.

Oooooh... IDK honestly!!! I've seen a lot of concepts thrown around like;

Bowser Jr and the Koopalings coming to rescue Bowser.

A Luigi's Mansion Movie as the sequeal (which i reaaaaally want TBH- I'd love a Luigi's mansion movie)

I also think that, maybe they could do something with the Super Mario Galaxy stuff- I dont know exactly what they would do with this so it wouldn't feel like any other space movie out there off the top of my head, however I think the concept is really cool.

As for something specific to Expect from anymore movies..... I'd like them to have a LIL more time to character bonding??? Like for the whole movie i could feel that cemistery between M&L and that was awesome they got that perfect

But ig what i mean is like; maybe it woulda been cool to have more Bowser shots and have that rivalerly tension build up?????

I dont know exaclty what im getting at but hopefully somehow my thoughts get across lol

Ok, everyone, I have a crazy good idea for a Super Mario Bros. Movie sequel (in my opinion).

So hear me out, the first movie was where Luigi was captured by Bowser and Mario had to save him right?

Here, Luigi gets to save Mario.

Okay here's the explanation/setup:

So in the sequel, it starts off with Luigi as he starts to feel inferior to Mario and he feels that he starts to doubt himself. Or at most, in general, he just starts to feel that he's in Mario's shadow. (One more thing, that's getting to him is that people are calling him a scaredy-cat because he's so easily scared).

Then he gets mail that he won a mansion in a contest he didn't enter. Thinking his luck is turning around, Luigi decides to meet Mario at the mansion's address provided. However, Mario arrives first, then gets captured.

Now, you see where this is going. Turns out Mario got captured by King Boo and he wants to spread his ghost/boo army and cause paranormal chaos across worlds.

Along the way, Luigi meets E. Gadd who came from the human world a little bit after Luigi and Mario and they work together to defeat the boos and other ghosts and King Boo himself.

Luigi saves Mario and by extent, the Mushroom Kingdom and the rest of the world and regains confidence in his abilities, faces off against ghosts, and learns of his importance.

Then its set up that he establishes his own boo/ghostbusting job in the Kingdom to keep the rest of the pesky Boos away and at bay.

One more thing, when they return to the Mushroom Kingdom, it's revealed that at one point back at Peach's castle, Bowser escaped and is planning to enact revenge.

TLDR: Mario and Luigi are equally important, with Mario protecting the Mushroom Kingdom from Bowser and Luigi protecting it from King Boo's boos and other ghosts.

Maybe there's an ending scene that teases Rosalina who watches over the galaxies and Yoshi gets introduced and helps in the 3rd movie, who knows.

Speed Ran through Mario Galaxy 2 Yesterday while sick because I couldn't remember why I disliked it so much and wanted to see if that was just younger me being biased. It was not.

But I regained my love for Lubba and Dino Piranha, so that's something at least.
