Okay okay I know the death doula is causing a lot of discourse rn but I’m not focused on that I’m more focused on the potential my brain supplied from this idea, I mean a living funeral and buck interested in some capacity to a death doula this in my head can so easily equal buck making slightly morbid comments about his death and near death experiences or saying something about how he understands why someone would want a living funeral and he would wanna know what it would be like and then Eddie just having an absolutely batshit response to Buck nonchalantly talking about his death

Ok my dears, rant time

So from the very beginning I shipped these two, like, who doesn't want a hot gay firefighter couple in their favorite show ever. Right?

However I was also a bit skeptical, as in: ok how are the writers gonna make this happen? Because they already introduced our dear Buck as no other than the "man-whore" (I hate that term but whatever) who hasn't shown signs of being at least a little bit bi.

And then we got our dear Eddie "don't call me Diaz unless you want me to respond"

Troubled single dad/Army vet just trying to give his kid the best life possible AND still not over his stranged wife. So, HOW could Buddie happen, right?

But then we got the lingering looks, the kitchen scenes, THE WILL...

...and OH MAN. SEASON 6? HELLOOO?? IS IT REALLY HAPPENING?

Like, seriously, those who are still skeptical... open your eyes? Dare to hope? Manifest with us?

Do you thing we’ll have canon buddie for the season finale? Or at least a hint that it could be happening next season?

To be honest? Every fiber of my being wants to scream yes!

But to not get anybody's hope up, I would say I am being carefully optimistic. Because it only leads there, I don't see any other way, any other woman even reaching proper potential significant other.

And Buck went on and on about the right couch and fell asleep on Eddie’s couch as soon as he sat in it.

And I'm not even talking about Eddie's pining Era. He breaks my heart, I swear to God.

@yelenasbuddie and I talked about it, and I told her I'm thinking Eddie is at the stage where he knows he's head over heels for Buck. He wishes he had him, but doesn't think he can have him.

So yeah, breaking my heart.

I also think there's a fair chance that everything will turn back on its axis for Buck in the finale, if only because Chimney will be injured right before (or after) proposing to his sister. And I have a real strong feeling we'll get to hear Buck screaming Eddie’s name at least once this season. 👀

So, do I think we get buddie canon? That's a hard maybe. A hint? We've been getting those for a good three seasons, so who knows.

My gut is jumping up and down saying yes, I hope it's right, manifest with me 😌🙏✨️
