I was talking on the phone to my mother earlier about how it looks like I'm possibly heading into very early perimenopause, and she agreed that was likely seen as how she had her last kid at 38 (same age as me) and then immediately went straight into menopause. Her body just shut up shop like no thank you, we are not doing that again.

And I was kinda joking with her like, wow, must be nice to have not had a period for 36 years, and she kinda laughed, then said, "Yeah. Except for that time when it came back when I was about 50," and I was like oh, wild, I didn't know about that, what did the doctor say and she was like, "Doctor?"

And that's when I had to be like, what do you mean you never went to the doctor when your period randomly came back after 12 years????

"Is that bad?"

Is that... MUM.

Anyway. I spent my afternoon explaining to my 74-year-old mother that you're not supposed to get your period again after you hit menopause, and if you do, it can be a warning sign that something else is going on, like a fibroid or cancer, and she should probably go to the doctor. Which, good news, I guess, she's already going because she's had a pain in her stomach for a while.

How long?

Oh, y'know. On and off. For about twenty years.

tbh the pilot was such an episode. it starts with wilson talking, not house - not the literal character that gives the tv show its name. the opening shot (after the cold open) features them walking side by side, inches apart. wilson lies about the patient being his cousin just because he wants house to take the case. "he's your friend, huh?" "yeah." "does he care about you?" "i think so." "you don't know?" "as doctor house likes to say, everybody lies." "it's not what people say, it's what they do." [pause] "yeah. he cares about me." wilson is everywhere: with house's team as he comes back from cuddy's office, in their differential diagnosis room. the episode starts with them and ends with them, too. a paralel to the whole series. someone get me out of here

do you think after particularly drastic height changes the doctor ends up being really clumsy and confused for a while because everything's in the wrong place? most of the doctor's actors have been roughly six foot, but 2 was about half a foot shorter than 3, 7 was about half a foot shorter than 6, and of course 12 and 14 were both about half a foot taller than 13. i'm just picturing 3 constantly banging his head when standing up and tripping over all the time whilst 7 has to resort to ladders to get anything done because for several centuries he was 6ft and can no longer reach any of the shelves his previous incarnations left their thingimajigs on

Being jettisoned into the Z-Neutrino energy core of the Dalek Crucible.

Being turned into a self cannibalising paradox machine by The Master.

Being shunted into a human body while it's own body gets possessed by a sentient TARDIS devouring asteroid.

Things that can defeat the TARDIS...

This has to be one of the most heartbreaking moments in the whole trilogy. When he separated his hands like that after a beloved family member broke his heart... It's so weird to see Robotnik like this. He's always either crazy or goofy, he's rarely serious, but in this movie where he truly experiences heartbreak it made me feel so bad for him because he just wanted to be loved but he trusted the wrong person. He was speechless and for the first time he didn't know how to react. You can tell how much it hurts him to find out that he means nothing to someone he loves.

Robotnik always wanted a family but his family didn't want him. He found out how much it hurts and how much he was hurting Stone the whole time. He realized how much Stone actually loved him because Stone would never say something like "you're no Maria" to him.

(And Jim Carrey is insanely talented for this, I have to give him credit, cuz during this movie he made me laugh a lot and he also made me cry even more.)

Quite literally! I have Finally drawn again! I am so Happy! My style is a bit rough.. or perhaps I should say... ruff! (Haha, sorry!) but that's just because I have not drawn anything other than my Final Piece for the past few months!
