my biggest godsdamned pet peeve is the "slavic traditional folk attire" being somehow always paired with the gaudiest most horrid american mainstream make up. fuck off with the winged eyeliner and fake lashes and a bold plumped lip and pristine plucked eyebrows
make up is a fucking tragedy. women are literally one of nature’s biggest wonders, and yet are expected to cover up that natural beauty? for what, some dudes to get fuller pockets? we are systematically fucking up women’s self-image and convincing them of the exsistence of flaws that literally aren’t there
like how fucked up is that
not to be a conspiracy theorist, but who might benefit from women being alienated from their real, actual face, from their very reality? what might be gained from that? truly does make you fucking wonder
Lol I parodied Blueberry here when I noticed how nicely I'd done by contour/blush/highlight today, lol Blueberry can say it abput his natural features but I'm not so blessed.
It took a while, but I finally got this themed makeup. I haven't used it yet and it will take me a while to do so, but I am very grateful to the reseller who got it for my country. ✨
one of my favourite beauty youtube dramas ever was when everyone and their dog was obsessed with the abh modern renaissance palette to the point of elevating ms anastasia beverly hills to a point of quasi godhood. and then they brought out subculture and it was shit

Today we are chatting about some drugstore finds I have been obsessed with lately from Revolution (or Makeup Revolution depending on the stand). I have spent this month trying new foundations and focusing more on natural finish products as well as going through my mascara's and throwing way old / expired ones.
The first product I really like is the Revolution Skin Silk Serum Foundation, £10.99. Now first off I don't think I've seen a foundation formula this cheap ever, usually when a foundation has a serum formula included its £15+ so I love that Revolution have made it even more affordable. This foundation comes in 20 flexible shades though 20 doesn't seem like a lot, they are flex shades so it actually covers a wider range once you see the swatches. They also have a colour matching tool on their website to help you find your best match. Personally I'm shade 2 in the collection and in their regular foundations I wear anything from shade 1 -3.
Now let's chat details this serum foundation, this is Revolutions first serum foundation and is made with hyaluronic and peptide complex to plump and hydrate your complexion. This foundation is designed to give your skin a your skin but better finish with it's light - medium buildable coverage. I love how this looks on my skin because it gives my skin a gorgeous radiant finish without looking like I'm wearing a heavy foundation or anything, it's brilliant!
Like I mentioned before I also went through my mascara's and realised I forgot to tell you all about a recent new edition to my collection. When I bought the foundation in Superdrug they had a deal that you could buy a serum foundation and mascara for £15.00 which was such a bargain so I picked up the Makeup Revolution Wispify False Lash Mascara (worth £9.99). This mascara is perfect if you want to create a natural lash and make your eyes look wider using a shaped brush like this. I have always had the issue of mascara transferring on to my eyes and yet with Revolution formulas it has never failed me. So if you want a more natural lash and don't want to pay luxury brand prices this could be your perfect product.
If you are shopping on Revolutionbeauty.com use the code LUCE20 or LUCY20 (it's one of those two) to save 20% off your shopping, it works on full price items and I use the code all the time. As always all products mentioned are linked above.
You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
So I had the coolest eyeshadow pallet arrive today (The Matrix XX Revolution XX Neo Eyeshadow Palette) 👁👁 - if I weren't so shy about posting my face I'd show off a few looks when I've done them-!!! Maybe one day I'll show them off- but for now- here is the pallet (featuring my beloved ikea shark- she's holding it up for me haah~ ♡)
I saw the pallet when it first came out in Ocotober/November 2021 [as a tie in with the matrix 4] - and told myself one day-!!! One day I'll own it... and now I finally do!!! (because it was on sale-!! From £30 gbp down to £9 gbp waaaah!!) - eeek-!!! I'm so hyped - SO SO HYPED!!! The packaging is so pretty- it has an iridescent shine to it-!!
