Jason gets a chance to do everything right.

He’s got one day, twenty four hours, to change everything to the way he wants it to be (read: repeatedly kill Joker). And if he’s not satisfied with the result by the end of that time, well, that’s fine. He gets a do over for as long as he wants—if he offs himself before the twenty fourth hour mark.

He just didn’t count on his stupid family to be such a wild card and keep switching their routines around at the drop of a hat. Makes it so much harder to plan Joker’s perfect demise…

((Meanwhile the batfam: screaming and falling over each other, very much aware of the time loop but under the impression that Jay’s death is the catalyst, trying desperately to stop Jason from committing suicide by the end of each day.))

Angsty hurt/comfort for Lighter on his birthday (and any other day) has my entire heart 💜

Imagine just taking him gently in your arms, kissing all over his face, massaging out any knots in his shoulders, back, and arms. Running fingers through his silky hair to relieve tension as his head rests in your lap. Using unscented lotion to stretch the joints in his hands and simultaneously moisturize his calloused hands. He’s uncharacteristically quiet during the unprompted pamper session… swallowing down a familiar, burning lump in his throat.

“…Why are you doing this for me?”

His voice is hardly a whisper, voice teetering on the edge of breaking. His olive eyes are filling with unshed tears as his surprised expression mirrors your own.

You don’t respond right away, offering a small, genuine smile, taking both his hands up to your lips, kissing across the expanse of them, to each finger, and finally to his palms. The gesture has the tears finally springing free, flowing down his cheeks in rivulets. You lean forward and kiss each eye gently before finally speaking,

“Because I love you. Because you deserve it.”

That’s literally all the guy needs, gentle love and understanding. You don’t have to get what he’s going through, you don’t want to fix him or take it all away, you just want to relieve him for a moment. Remind him that he is loved and cared for despite everything he might be feeling.

It’s not something he can accept so easily, and he always feels unworthy of the attention, but he can’t deny how much he loves it. How much he loves you. How much he needs you.

On days where he’s feeling that low, like on his birthday, it’s good to have that reminder that he really is loved and adored by you.

Watched the three musketeers last Sunday, shout out to Donald, L for the people on Twitter who can't understand him

[thanks to the hellish landscape of animation Twitter once again arguing like 6 yr olds over someone saying an opinion, they gave me the idea that Bugs and Mickey would crossdress together.]

sometimes I'm so convinced people just ignored entire segments of Rodger Rabbit as just hey look reference when you can't help but realise they went through all that trouble to please two money-grubbing companies having animation for them to line up to the millisecond just to have them in one movie maybe guys and I'm just riffin' here but maybe it's because...

these two characters r idk BOTH IMPORTANT, why do I still hear people arguing about who better, who did what and who ones up who better, I mean holy shit the shear fact that people r still so divided on this subject should make people click about how just important they r when it comes to animation. Mickey has such a nice guy charm and Bugs has that smug guy charm and that's not to say they haven't breached that charm bc they've literally both taken inspiration from each other. They're such polar opposites and that's so important when you realise their impact as whole looney tunes is able to tell stories with limited context, with comedic charm added on by its expressive animation and rather creative storytelling, disney, on the other hand, makes more plot-heavy stories focusing on emotional and light-hearted stories.

I could talk about this forever but yall just have no chill bc they're 100% friends and get offended as soon as they're equal, animation fans please I swear to god watch other content and talk about it, the good of humanity and my timeline are at stake here.

I'm initially wanting to make poses for the MB/F rigs [because the jackie welles enjoyers need more content for our best man]- but will try n re target for other couple combos when i finally get my head around everything.

hello!!! thank you and sorry for the late response!!!

See, Stucky as parents always makes me so so so emotional, because they both bring such different, rich things to the table.

I headcanon that Bucky's family growing up, while big and somewhat hectic, was always really kind and loving and somewhat ahead of their time. He learned to respect and be good to his loved ones, but also learned empathy and that his emotions were important. I like to think he was close with his dad, and while things weren't perfect (there was strain in society, and being the oldest took its toll sometimes), he felt steady and sure in how to show a kid that they're important and good and kind. Maybe especially after he'd seen the lowest depths of hell, did he realize he had it in him to show his children they could survive anything if they found strength in themselves.

I see Bucky as a fun and trusting parent, that always always listens, above anything else.

Steve on the other hand did not have the best living situation growing up. His ma did her best, and she raised him to be kind. To always stand up. But his father was mean, and even after he died, him and his ma felt his wounds. It wasn't something easily shaken, and because of that, I imagine that Steve has quite a bit of anxiety around parenthood once he and Bucky enter it. He's determined to break the cycles his father perpetuated, and while there are still nights that Bucky has to hold him through memories and worries, he's putting in the work. He isn't letting himself turn mean like his father had.

He gives his children space to be themselves. To be loud and to use their voices and to be kids. He never wants his children to grow up too fast like he had to. I see him as patient and gentle. A guiding hand instead of a correcting hand.

Also, Steve and Bucky totally have the whole parent unit thing down.

Bucky changing one of their kid's diapers while the other starts to fuss and all it takes is him calling out, "Stevie!" for Steve to swoop in and scoop up the other kid with a corny, "I got your six." (Bucky rolls his eyes so hard at that that his head hurts, but he's smiling fondly anyway)
