Here is more oc art!

So these six were actually redraws of ocs I had put on artfight (which was months ago I know) and I just never posted them here for some reason. Anyways from top to bottom, left to right, we have Heather Reid, Jewel Skulltide, Berry, Aline, Q (Quin), and Cindy Fisher. Heather, Jewel and Berry all exist in the same universe and they're all demons. Aline is a fairy. Q is a human turned demon, but is known by others in her universe as the Faceless One (since she lost her whole identity and literally has no clue who she is, which is why she goes by Q). Lastly, Cindy is a sea-witch that can change her legs into tentacles since she is from both the sea and land. (Aline, Q and Cindy exist in their own separate universes.) Feel free to ask questions about any of them in the ask box!

And here we have 3 out of the 5 members of The Suits drawn individually. Art consistency, who's she?/hj Nah, but seriously I know that the art style of each of the looks different, but I was trying to make them look different so they weren't all same faced and whatnot. I'm still working on Randy and Shanae so I'll get them done eventually. Plus I have come up with other characters for The Suits universe, but just haven't gotten around to drawing them. Especially the mentors. The new characters are Maddie's brother, Shanae's girlfriend and two of the villains (that end up leading to the reveal of the true big bads) known as "The Twins" (I have names for them, I'm just not revealing them yet >:3c)

So yeah, that's the next batch of art. I have one more post to make and I'll be done for the day. Though I will answer any asks you send to my ask box about my ocs ^w^

The ABC first responder drama returns for season 8 with every member of the 118 firehouse facing a crisis: Bobby (Peter Krause) is forced to follow through with his retirement and takes a job as a technical advisor on an action TV show called Hotshots (how meta!); he and Athena (Angela Bassett) are looking for a new home after theirs burned down by arson; Buck (Oliver Stark) is reeling from Gerrard (Brian Thompson) being named the 118's new captain; Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Chimney (Kenneth Choi) are doing what they can to keep Hen (Aisha Hinds) and Karen (Tracie Thoms) in their foster daughter Mara's life despite the best efforts of Councilwoman Ortiz (Verónica Falcón), who is now running for mayor; and Eddie (Ryan Guzman) is mourning his son's move to Texas. Oh, and a giant swarm of bees is descending on Los Angeles. "We just wanted to generate some buzz," jokes co-creator and showrunner Tim Minear. —P.G.

This beautiful piece of fan art by @/stickymaelk on Twitter made my brain start whirling around an Arcane x Soul Eater AU that I'm sure I won't be able to get out of my head for a little while, so here are my fledgling headcanons:

Jayce & Viktor are obviously partners, with Jayce being the meister & Viktor the weapon. Viktor has a very closed-off soul & finds it near impossible to partner with anyone other than Jayce (ala Soul). Jayce has a very large, kinetic soul-wavelength that he can use to attack sans his weapon ala Black☆Star, though he wouldn't necessarily want to. He has an easier time pairing up with other people compared to Viktor, but most other weapons would find his wavelength overwhelming. Jayce grew up in Death City with his mother. They're probably the first of their class to make a Death Scythe. I absolutely see the two of them getting into a Maka-&-Soul-esque dilemma where Jayce develops a complex around needing to protect Viktor at all costs, despite it being the weapon's job to protect their meister. The handle of Viktor's hammer-form takes on the aesthetic qualities of whatever cane he's using at the time.

Caitlyn is the first meister in Kiramman family history (maybe she gets it from Tobias's side?) & her deciding to pursue this path has created a rift between she & Cassandra. Caitlyn & Jayce hit it off during their first week at the DWMA & she was extremely disappointed to find out he wasn't a weapon. Caitlyn goes through her entire first semester without having chosen a weapon before Death Scythe Grayson reccomends she pair up with Vi; the two of them never would have seriously considered the other before, but they work like a charm. Maybe they eventually have a little breakup arc where their partnership dissolves & Caitlyn picks up Maddie as her new weapon, but they can't resonate the same way she & Vi could.

Vi & Powder are kind of a combination of the Thompson sisters & the Nakatsukasa siblings. Like Liz & Patty, they're both modern firearms. But whereas Vi only has one form (a rifle) like Masamune, Powder is a multi-form weapon like Tsubaki; she can turn into a handgun, a canon, a grenade, a time-bomb, etc. Vi lowkey wishes she were a meister so that she & Powder could've been partners, & has a bit of an inferiority complex about not being a good enough weapon. The two of them were taken in & raised by the DWMA along with Ekko. Maybe their parents were all meisters and/or weapons who were killed by witches or something. Powder absolutely gets injected with Black Blood at some point. At some point before either of them had official partners, Jayce & Vi tried to pair up & it was an absolute disaster (their souls are like the immovable object vs the unstoppable force, lol).

Ekko is a meister & Powder's partner. The two of them decided to be a pair before they were even officially enrolled at the DWMA. Ekko has a grigori soul (ala Maka), which helps to counteract Powder's madness post-Black Blood infusion. If they ever formed a team of weapon-meister pairs like Spartoi, then Ekko would definitely be the leader. Powder worries that she's dragging Ekko's as a meister potential down with her.

Mel has a Stein-esque soul, in that she can meister any weapon with ease &, like Jayce, can fight without a weapon (she's more adept & eager to do so than Jayce is). Her most common weapon partner is Elora, & sometimes Sky (I definitely see Sky having Marie's healing wavelength). Maybe Elora is killed in battle (sorry girl) or decommissioned some other way, & Sky becomes Mel's primary weapon after that? The Medarda's are a long, unbroken line of prodigious meisters & weapons, & Mel definitely feels the weight of that legacy. Mel is revealed to be part witch ala Kim.

You who are so wise and a master of much knowledge, is there a way to know what all the theme nights are for Frost games will be? Or do they only announce the theme like a week or so before?

As far as I've been able to find, they only seem to announce them last minute online; I think a handful of times they've announced them at the prior game, but lately that's only been about a week or less of warning too.

It's deeply irritating. Like, I definitely want to go to the pride game, but can't plan for it because I have no idea WHEN.

I'm honestly flabbergasted at the constant mishandling of PR and marketing by the Frost at least. Apparently Maddie Rooney and Claire Thompson were at the Stillwater ice festival signing autographs and doing an open skate this week. I found out as usual afterwards in the FB fan group. It's one of the reasons I'm still in the stupid group.

I can't tell if this is some weird intentional choice to not highlight the themes or appearances for reasons I can't comprehend, or just incompetence, but as someone who works as a marketing professional, I'm mystified.

(I'm assuming it's disorganization occurring somewhere in the org that is preventing a solidified schedule until last minute. Whether it's team or league level, who knows. I don't think it's been a ton better for other teams, but maybe someone can weigh in about that.)

This has an odd origin as it was meant to be part of a larger idea but it didn’t flow right so it just ended on this page.

I just started to draw Rodimus Prime interacting with the EarthSpark crew, somewhat a commentary on how increasingly the “G1” of anything supersedes any successor, with veterans and now even younger fans starting to reject anything that isn’t “G1” as Rodimus and JD are both rather dismissive of the newer ideas.

It then was going to be one part of a larger crossover of my own ideas with the Legacy toyline in an attempt to give it a story to rationalize it for myself.

The general gist is other combatants that fought in the dimensional battle called the Legacy Wars, a war Grahm, Maddie, Thompson and Meister participated in, started trickling into the EarthSpark universe. G1 Rodimus and Energon Braverman & JD appeared in Witwicky during S1’s events, and are confused by the Emberstone (as it nor Quintus exist in their universes). I accidentally drew Braverman and JD as their Heathers AU selves, and tried to rationalize that to myself but gave up. I did have a splinter timeline where the Heathers AU instead saw Hawkins era Braverman and JD meet the Stranger Things pizza truck Autobot and others but I don’t have that fleshed out.

Another page would see Rodimus mistake Quintus as a scientist Quintesson and try to defend the kids and Terrans, as in my version of EarthSpark, Quintus Will occasionally appear as a digital Force Ghost through the Cyber Sleeves, making a point to be more active in things, even if he can’t really do much but just observe and talk.
