here's your not so friendly reminder that there is NO "correct" way to be trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, etc. there is no set of rules you need to follow to be the ✨p e r f e c t✨ enby. just because YOU may feel strongly one way about something, doesn't mean every single other gender non-conforming/non-binary/trans person has to feel the exact same. constantly bringing others down for not fitting into your exact, regimented, gender worldview is doing the EXACT opposite of supporting others.

i perfectly understand why this is bout italian mafia but once again if they wanted to stick to it they could've take the italian mafia from the '80s to the '90s (give or take). it's closer to modern times and it's correspondingly scarier + times when it. mafia was slowly exposed /Giancarlo Siani <- italian journalist killed by camorra in 1985 (was 26 y.o) Giovanni Falcone <- was investigating cosa nostra -> blown up in a car in 1992 (+ his wife & 3 policemen if i remember correctly)/

"you need to fire a machine gun at the auditorium". to bring them to a hard and face-punching realization of the horror of reality. you stop breathing, you realize things about yourself and those around you. you get shivers! i like it when it looks fun, but at the end, the mask comes off and something so ugly stares back at you, you're frozen. you realize the complete horror of it. it could be very intimidating with 80-90s italian mafia and overall more interesting (imo)

ps. i'm sorry! mafia code of honor? isn't better than primitive thinking. there's nothing cool about it (and genuinely. genuinely i don't see anything very different in the mafia's worldview from the rest of the criminal statutes. same principles as in rus prison culture and i think many others)

this is obviously a generalized vent, please, for the love of all that is good, don’t assume that I’m attacking anyone specifically, I’m just noticing a pattern of arguments and it’s getting frustrating bc no actual solutions is being proposed and it always feels like the blame is being shifted on het/bi women.

Okayokayokay- Rise will always be my fave bc its what got me back into TMNT, but I think I like MM more. Mainly because I relate so hard to the turtles in Mutant Mayhem, what with having an overprotective parent who's scared of anything happening to me, feeling different and separated from people my age but also wanting to have friends and experience life like a normal teenager, stuff like that. Not to mention the fact that Mutant Mayhem fucking SLAPS. The soundtrack, the VA's, the artstyle, etc. (Ive been listening to Can I Kick It on repeat for days now) Also the turtles are actually my age, so thats neat.

Ngl some days I'm like writing crackships and ships and rarepairs is so silly goofy and fun and then OTHER days I'm like wow I wish I'd never written or drawn a ship ever in my life how do I erase this and OTHER days I just go about forgetting ships exist entirely and I swing WILDLY between those three options with no chill whatsoever
