Venison Steak

Trick or treat, tombler!

This is part one of the Halloween party I prepared for the Ito Family. In this post, Stella will cook some specialty venison steak as one of the main dishes of the night. The venison steak cc recipe is made by @icemunmun-spicy-scalpel (click here to download the recipe). Please be aware that you would also need to install Custom Food Interactions (its last update is November 25th so make sure you have the latest version) for the recipe to appear in your game. The recipe can be found under the Gourmet Cooking pie menu.

Now, let's begin what we do best: the cooking part.

First, the meat. Venison is said to be healthier than beef, as it has half the calories and sixth the saturated fat found in a same-sized cut of beef.

Stella prepares the venison meat. It's important to choose an acidic marinade with plenty of bright flavors from vinegar or citrus, as those ingredients not only lessen the "gamey" flavor of the meat, but also help break down the tissue which results in buttery-soft meat. With venison steaks, marinate for at least 3 hours.

The side dishes include huckleberry compote, pearl onions, pomegranate sauce and potato puree -- what I love from @icemunmun-spicy-scalpel is her dedication to go an extra mile for the side dishes 👩🏻‍🍳🤌🏻

As seen above, Stella chops down the pomegranate before boiling them and crushing them to make the sauce, and garnishes the green onion with oil and seasoning before roasting them in the oven.

Finally, cooking the steak. Great tip I found on the internet is to not overcook the steak, as venison steak is best cooked to medium-rare only. The cooking blog I found this tip from pulled the steaks from the grill/the pan as soon as they reach 117-125F (around 47-51C).

Last but not least, it's important to rest the steak for around 10 minutes before cutting, as it will allow the juices to seep back into the meat. Perfect timing for a little spooky photo session, don't you think?

Nanami dressed up as Wednesday Addams from the 2022 Netflix series Wednesday, while Vienna and Stella (and their respective husbands) dressed up as Anastasia "Anya" Romanov and Dimitri (Anya's love interest, because of course they need to create the token savior in a white horse) from the 1997 Fox Animation Studios animated film Anastasia, one of my favorite -- if not my most favorite -- animated movie of all time! 25 years later and I'm still very much in awe with its original sound tracks too. Toast to you if you love Anastasia too! 🥂 Or if you haven't watch it, please give the film a chance. It was sooooo good.

Coming with Nanami tonight is her twins Sean (white sheep costume) and Kieran (black sheep costume), who are cutely put into sheep costumes to match her black-and-white vibe (sheep costumes are by @madlensims, downloadable here). The twins were a little cranky as they're bit tired from Trick and Treat-ing, so Nanami put them to a quick nap before dinnertime.

The face you make when your mom forced you to pose in front of the dining table you just made. Leia low-key wondered whether her mom genuinely wanted to take a picture of her, or she's just happened to be on the frame when her mom wanted to take picture of her succulent venison steak.

Four werewolves and a human sit down to dinner...

Wolfgang and Kristopher have not come alone. Natalia, Kristopher’s wife has come to. She and Kristopher have three kids together. Samir is relieved they didn’t bring them to dinner. He and Reece greet her and the meal properly begins.

Samir is nervous at first, then the other werewolves begin eating. They’re every bit as messy as him! He tucks into his food happily, glad he doesn’t have to repress his gluttonous nature and Reece prepares himself for people talking with their mouths full.

Wolfgang: This is delicious

Natalia: Much better than what we have on set

Kristopher: Natalia is an actress in her spare time

Reece: Oh my sister’s friend does that. What do you do Kristopher?

Kristopher: Look after any wolves that come through these parts

Samir: How long have you been doing that

Natalia: A while… he’s immortal see

Reece: Immortal?

Kristopher: Love you forget, they don’t know much about our lore

Wolfgang: They should if they’ve been reading my books, I see a few of them on the shelf

Samir: You write

Wolfgang: Under a pen name of course of but you can also find me at the main mill most days, I’m the librarian

Reece: You work for the library? Say hi to Flynn and Eve for me

*crickets as no one else gets the geeky joke*

Reece: Uh, did you write that bit in The Werewolf who came in from the cold?

Samir: About the collective

Wolfgang: You could read that? Oh wonderful

Kristopher: It means your eyes are adjusting properly. You’ll be able to see extra text in many of the books in the library

Wolfgang: And my books of course. Read up on what you can and we’ll fill in the blanks for you

Reece offers to sort the dishes while Samir grabs some of the meat in the fridge for seconds. Reece goes to the lounge to do more of his homework while Samir asks more questions.

Samir: Will I always be hungry

Kristopher: It takes a lot of calories to shift, and we have a faster metabolism than humans. I’d suggest planting a fruit tree of some kind so you can always have a snack on hand

Samir: I’m more a meat kind of guy

Kristopher: *whispers* how is your hearing

Samir: *whispers* pretty good

The conversation continues with the group talking so quietly that Reece who is close by cannot hear a word they say.

Natalia: It’s an adjustment being able to hear so much. I am not looking forward to what I might hear when the kids become teens

Samir: Wolfgang… what did you mean when you said Reece and I were lucky to have found each other? It seemed weighted

Kristopher: Tell me you didn’t-

Wolfgang: That was all I said Kristopher, those words

Samir: Why? What could he have said

Kristopher: Nothing that’s backed up by precedent

Wolfgang: Just because you’ve never encountered it before-

Kristopher: *snaps* For the last time, fated mates have only ever been documented in relationships between werewolves

Samir: Fated what

An awkward silence descends as Kristopher and Wolfgang exchange looks and Natalia clearly searches for something to say.

Kristopher: So you want to take on who killed your parents do you

Samir: What? *growls* Do you know who it was

Wolfgang: We have an idea

Kristopher: But no, we’re not telling you until we’re sure you won’t go getting yourself killed. Come outside with me, show me what you can do

Samir follows Kristopher outside, nearly slipping on the icy ground.

Kristopher: You need to work on your reflexes

Samir: I know…

Kristopher: I trust you’ve figured out how to shift at will?

Samir: Sort of…

Kristopher: Come on, show me

The older wolf effortlessly ripples into his wolf form while Samir enters his wolf form more awkwardly.

Samir: Why don’t our clothes tear

Kristopher: We may change our physical appearance but you’ll find we stay a similar size. Now, attack me

The pair disappear into a cloud of dust and fur! Samir isn’t used to tangling with someone as fast as him so he has a job staying ahead of Kristopher’s swings. He sadly discovers a bop to his wolf nose is extremely painful, and that it’s harder to slice through fur with his claws than he thought.

When the dust settles Kristopher is the clear victor but Samir isn’t hurt.

Kristopher: You have an amount of raw talent. That may have been fine on the football field but it’s different as a wolf. You need to work on refining your talents

Samir: I know. Thanks

Kristopher: Anytime. If you want to join the collective-

Samir: No. I have Reece

Kristopher: Up to you of course. I’ll grab the others and take our leave. Howl if you ever need anything

Samir goes inside and Reece looks up from his homework.

Reece: You do make a good looking werewolf… but I still think we should keep woohoo to human form only

Samir: No problem, I can shift

Samir goes into the kitchen to get some space and tries to shift. Nothing changes.

Samir: Damn it!

Reece: It’s okay boss, you’ve done it before. You’ll do it again

Samir: Right blondie, I’ll try. I am in control *deep breath* I am in control….

Reece does his best to think calming thoughts as Samir awkwardly shifts back to human form. It’s still a rusty process but at least he can do it.

Reece: There… my handsome lover is back. Did the others have any good tips

Samir: Just to keep reading and working on skills. Now I have a pretty good tip for you… if you can take it

Reece: *chuckles* I do my best

Samir: Come on, let’s put you to bed

Reece: *sighing* I love you

Samir: *smirks* I love you to, now come on or you’ll miss all the fun

NSB (Straud Legacy) Gen 9 Ep 93: The Shape of You

Luigi wasn’t alone in being anxious about the pregnancy.

Despite a relatively complication free first trimester, when they arrived at their second trimester appointment with Dr. Valezquez, the experienced therapist took one look at Noemi’s troubled expression and ill-fitting outfit and immediately recognized a sim in desperate need of comforting.

She welcomed them both warmly and jumped right in: “Our last session was quite focused on Luigi’s concerns. This time, let’s start with the mother to be. Adjusting to big changes like this can give anyone a hard time, and we’re here to find ways to help. So how are you feeling, dear?”

Noemi replied that she’d had a very helpful glimpse into their future recently. “Luigi’s teammate just had an adorable little baby boy and invited us over for dinner. Breanne, his wife, has already raised one child and told me a lot about what to expect in the years to come.”

Luigi jumped in to say that the way his co-captain had taken to the baby gave him great hope for his own child when Dr. Valezquez cut him off.

“Yes, spending time with other parents of a similar age can be very helpful, but we were waiting to hear how Noemi was feeling.”

“I’ve been taking very good care of myself, cooking healthy meals and avoiding junk food and empty calories. I’m also fully back into my old fitness regime and pushing more weight at the gym than ever before.” As she spoke, even Luigi noticed how she unconsciously seemed to hide her belly.

He thought back to noticing her longing looks at the sugary breakfast cereal he’d bought for her as she prepared a low-fat egg white omelet, and the way she’d been working out to the point of exhaustion. He glanced at the therapist and asked: “Is it possible to be in too good a shape?”

 “Not necessarily” the Doctor said, “But it raises an important question. Noemi, what do you think the healthiest shape is, for someone growing a whole new person right around … here?” She pantomimed a baby belly on herself, rounded and projecting. “And the healthiest frame of mind?”

Noemi’s eyes filled with tears at the question. She grabbed some tissues from the box Dr. Velasquez kept on hand and snuggled into her boyfriends' outstretched arms to explain: “The changes to my body are freaking me out a bit. My mom said a lot of hurtful things about my weight when I hit puberty. That’s when I started focusing more on working out and eating healthy.”

“My departed wife, Kiana, helped me learn to love and accept myself, but mom’s unkind words when we told her about the baby brought all those insecurities roaring back to the surface. Suddenly I was right back to hating looking at myself in the mirror.” She buried her face in Luigi’s shoulder. “I’m afraid if I put on baby weight, I’ll never get rid of it. ”

“It’s normal to struggle with the physical changes pregnancy brings, especially for people who’ve struggled with their body image in the past” their therapist gently told her. “But it’s important for you and your baby to get the fuel and rest you need to grow in healthy ways. Feel free to keep doing exercises that feel comfortable, but now isn’t the time to push harder.”  She smiled. “Don’t worry, you’ll get to do all the pushing you want at the end.”

“If mirrors make it harder to love yourself, please, let your doctors and family support you there.” She looked at Luigi “Can we count on you to help Noemi see that she is beautiful and loved?”

 “Of course!” he said “Noemi will always be beautiful to me, no matter what. I just want her and the baby to be happy and healthy.”

“Great!” Dr. Valezquez beamed. “It’s a special time, enjoy it! Noemi, savor those cravings and enjoy whatever food your body calls for. Go shopping for something that shows off your new shape, rather than trying to hide it.”

Unknowingly mirroring Beau she continued: “Most importantly, start getting excited about the baby to come. It may help you both to remember this is really all about the third person on my couch right now.”

“I recommending finding out your little one's gender at your next OB visit and start trying out names. Studies show that finding out the gender of an unborn baby and giving him or her a name helps with bonding. Buy some cute things to decorate their room, talk to them, and wait for those baby kicks to start in earnest!” The doctor patted her own belly with a faraway look in her eye. “Getting prepared ahead of time will make things much easier when your baby finally arrives.”

The couple left their session that day with lots of “homework”, but in a much better frame of mind than the last time.

They would have one more session before the baby was born, and they both hoped to have made some progress, and have good news to share, by the time that final appointment rolled around.

Hi all,

Here are some major updates to the Body Worship Mods I made a while back! 

Lots of little changes have been made since the first release, but the big changes are:

-Lot traits which now populate the world with NPC's of various sizes. Visiting a Hard Core Gym means encountering Bodybuilders and Gym Regulars, all over varying sizes. Upon subsequent visits, said gym goers will get progressively larger. Same goes for lots with "High Calorie Menus," and "Constant Musky Odors."

- A Musk exposure Mechanic for the Musk Lover Mod. The more time a sims spends on a lot with a "Constant Musky Odor" Trait, or near a Musky sim, the more they come around to liking the smell. Bathing reduces this exposure statistic. Speaking of Musk, Musky sims now have all the same visual effects at low hygeine as non-musk loving Sims!

-Added in-universe ways to add each of the traits to your sim, using the phone for Gainers, Feeders, and Worshippers, and Clicking yourself and "Sniffing your own pits" for musk lovers. Additionally there are Cheats available to make all sims gainers, or even further make all npcs Bodybuilders, Obese, or  Permanently Musky. 

-Added gameplay functionality for several big mods such as Wicked Whims, the AEP Porn career mod by Kusiuh, Khlas/Sir Sleepy's Big Dick Problems, and Cepzid/Zulf's Let's Get Fit Mod Pack. For example Muscle Gainers that are still small are super shy about nudity, and can't gain any of the Wicked Whims' naturism skill, while sims that are buff enough become pretty comfortable exposing their body pretty quickly. Mean while, if they don't spend the time to get better "Sexpertise" while they're still skinny, they're gonna struggle with it and will tend to be lousy lays once they're buff, as they're clearly overcompensating for something. 

-Various Relationship building and career repercussions for Trait. Musk Lover sims can't gain any romance while they're too clean, while anybody whose around musky sims can't unless they like musk themselves. Being Musky all the time also will make musk lover sims make progress in their careers more slowly (Except the athletic and Gardening where being musky comes with the territory.) Weight Gainers do well in careers where body size matters less, or more associated with "fat cats" such as the business career. The do particularly well working in fast food, but only once they've put on some weight. Feeders on the other hand excel in the culinary field, because keeping people fed is their favorite thing to do. 

- As a bonus, I've added an optional package of Personality traits to adjust the difficulty for each of the body goals. There's hard gainer which makes a sim strugglet to gain any weight whatso ever, Athletically Gifted, who gain muscle and lose fat very easily, and Slow Metabolism, who gain fat easily and struggle to lose it.

I would like to share my first ever XML tuning mod with you! This is what I called:

More Negative Moodlets

The point of this mod was to make the negative moodlets in the game have a stronger effect on Sims’ lives. I have been playing this game well over 10 years now, and within the past year, I’ve felt that it has been too easy to keep my sims in a good mood. I always found it odd that a sim could still be in an overall good mood despite a relative dying, and the house being trashed.

What I did was this:

I edited the xml file called ‘buffs’, which has a majority of the moodlets used in the game. Admittedly, it does NOT go over every single moodlet that may appear in the sims 3. I don’t recall editing any store moodlets. I created this in 3 flavors to change the difficulty level of your game. I like to think of this mod as a sort of hard mode.

More Negative Moodlets Easier:

Edits a majority of the negative moodlets (nausea, stressed, heartbroken) to at least be -50 to a sim’s mood. This is a more realistic way of playing in my opinion, and I think that this version is best for regular gameplay.

More Negative Moodlets:

This was actually the first version of the mod that I made, and edits a majority of negative moodlets to -70, to a sim’s overall mood. This is a bit much, and sims will start having a bad time when there’s something as simple as dirty dishes in the room.

More Negative Moodlets Insanity:

In case you really want your sims to have a bad time, a majority of moodlets have been edited to be at least -100 to sim’s overall mood. I feel like this should only be used if you want to purposely hurt your sims lol. Or maybe you want your sims to suffer. I don’t judge. Perhaps this could be useful for a prison play through.

When you first install the mod, any pre existing negative moodlets will still have their old buffs. The new buffs won't appear until they feel bad again

For some reason it conflicts with the Instant Vampire Transformation mod by Eca (on mod the sims). I can only assume that this mod will conflict with any OTHER MOD EDITS THE BUFFS XML.

This mod was made and tested with Gamefreak130′s ‘Console Karma Powers’ in mind. I thought that it would be a lot cooler to give my sims a bad time when their house became haunted with ghosts, or destroyed by an earthquake lol.

I used a plethora of mods (Nraas, Children can series, and more), and it seems to do fine against 100′s of CC and more (yes, I’m that type of simmer).

And finally, I have every expansion pack and stuff pack, so there may be a chance that I edited moodlets which may not be in your game. So I don’t know how this mod will effect your game if you don’t have, say, seasons, but I don’t believe it would really do anything (I can only assume that the game would just carry on as usual, since your game doesn’t have the instances to create those certain moodlets).

Dim Sims are an anglicised variant of dim sum dumplings, with a lot more cabbage and breadcrumbs, and pork flavouring rather than pork mince. So the original idea was Asian, but the rendition was designed for extremely anglicised palates. Rather like butter chicken is a chicken curry designed by and for British palates, in British take-aways and chip shops, rather than an actual Indian or Pakistani dish.

The Chiko roll is definitely Australian, though. No Asian cuisine anywhere wants to be associated with it. Actually, a lot of Australia's original cuisine is going to be the sort of stuff that's designed to be sold to people on low-ish incomes with unrefined palates, to supply cheap-ish calories for a low-ish price. Stuff like the meat pie floater (I still haven't forgiven the South Australians for that one) or the Chiko Roll, or the hamburger with beetroot and egg, or the Lasagne Topper (a piece of very thick lasagne meat sauce, topped with very thick bechamel sauce, crumbed and deep fried, then stuffed in a hot food warmer for at least 2 hours[1]).

[1] I'm sure this last bit is part of the recipe - I've never seen them fresh out of the fryer.

Keto Cookbook

Guys, I can't express with words how excited i am right now! I reallly feel like I started to get into modding! This mod took me two months, but let me tell you, it worthed every second, cuz I'm so proud of myself :D

I'm following health nut lifestyle in real life, due to health conditions, so I've always been bored with the healthy food the Sims offers. I mean, we do eat delicious and appealing dishes as well, ya know?!

That's how this urge to learn modding arised. I really wanted to see this representation in the game and also I'm dying for Slavic/Balkan representation. So, hopefully once I feel comfortable I'll make more complex stuff like traditional Balkan dishes, kompot making, Balkan spreads/ relish like zacusca and lyutenitsa.

Now let's get to the meaning of this mod!

Description:

Before I begin just a little disclaimer, I'm aware that irl Keto Diet is a high-calorie diet, however in the game the metabolism and gain weight system is very simple, so to give this flavor of a healthy diet I translate it into the Sims universe as a low-calorie diet.

Keto Cookbook is basically an enabler that allows you to cook my custom keto recipes. This mod will be updated with each new recipe added, so you'll need to make sure you keep it up-to-date to see all new recipes. You have two options - a classic cookbook, or a cooking tablet. Both items can be found under Small Appliances and cost 250$.

The cookbook comes in 10 different recolors, and the tablet comes in 4.

NOTE: This mod alone does NOT include any recipes, you need to install them separately for them to show up in the menus.

All recipes that belong to this cookbook are low-calorie and boost the health nut lifestyle! For now there are no custom phases when cooking, since I'm still learning!

Tutorial: Editing the Price of Custom Foods

I’ve been working on a little bit on an overhaul for the Maxis foods affecting the hunger satisfaction and how long they take to eat and some other things, I’ll release it eventually. I’ve also been editing all the custom foods I use to match this system. This guide on Mod the Sims has been very helpful to find out what each of the tuning values mean, and the food tweaking I’ve been working on wouldn’t have been possible without it. However, I have discovered that there is a teeny bit of false information in there that I’d like to correct.

I came to the realisation that custom foods were making it even harder to run a profitable OFB restaurant or bakery business because the prices of custom foods were often too low due to being cloned from cheap meals like cereal and mac and cheese.

The guide states that tuning line 0x12 is for calories and is unused. I did some digging and noticed that the prices on the menus at my OFB restaurant were about the same as the tuning value in line 0x12. I tested it and can confirm, that this line is in fact not an unused calorie setting but is instead how you set the price of the meals. So, this value will reflect how much the plate of food costs at a restaurant podium or when set for sale in a business like a bakery.

Here’s a screenshot of where to find and change the tuning value of line 0x12 in SimPe and therefore change what the price of the food will be at restaurant podiums or when set for sale:

So, I highly recommend you edit your custom foods to make sure their prices at least match the price of a Maxis meal at a similar cooking level in order to run a more profitable business!

The 14th Department (AFTERL!FE) Meets the Demon Brothers and Undateables (Obey Me!)

Lucifer

Noah heard he has a dog.  He is staying far away from the pretentious eldest. 

Oldest big brother?  You better believe Youssef finds a kindred spirit, even if they differ wildly in personalities.  

Louis lives for the almost regal aesthetic Lucifer has got going on.  Lucifer, in turn, lives for the day Louis will stop talking.

Quincy finds this whole trip preposterous (“What the heck is the Devildom?  What happened to the Underworld?”) and does not like Lucifer’s condescending attitude (it conflicts with his own!).  

Ethan doesn’t like Lucifer—proud and arrogant people with no reason to be so are not to be respected.  Lucifer despises Ethan for the same reason.

Day!  Will!  Not!  Go!  Near!  Lucifer!  He’s so scary!  But Cerberus is his best friend now (Nine-Nine who?).

Nine and Theo together find out that the eldest demon is into classical music and spend hours discussing early compositions with him.

Ell cannot be around this demon!  He is a fallen angel!  He tries to be nice (and because Ell is kind, so is Lucifer, even if the sickly sweetness of the angel drives him up the wall), but every good wish is punctuated with a sneeze.

Lucifer is so overworked, so by way of his calm disposition and love for meditation, Jamie helps him find ways to relax.

The eldest demon’s general demeanor astonishes June.  How manly he is!

Likewise, Sian can’t go near Lucifer without feeling nervous.  The man drips dominating energy!

Verine can’t understand the eldest’s love for classical music.  Rock is infinitely better.

Mammon

Um, Mori and him are best friends.  They together cause trouble in the House of Lamentation and in the 14th Department with their many get-rich-quick schemes.

Gaudy and expensive taste?  Sign Louis up.

Ethan says ‘no’ to the demon’s general pomposity (it reeks of low self-esteem) and by God, doesn’t he own anything that depicts an iota of class?

Mammon is one speedy demon—how can Kirr not appreciate his fleetfootedness when it would bring him so much use whilst hunting?  Apart from that, Kirr has no respect for that reprehensible thief, for the very idea of stealing brings back terrible memories.

Always belittled by their peers, Day and Mammon find a kindred spirit in each other, and Day is always reminded of his past life when he sees all the gold that Mammon professes to possess possesses. 

Kati bit him twelve times because no dumb tsundere was going to steal his (cough Aitachi’s) spot as cutest in the Department!

Licht is eclipsed by Mammon’s demon form because how is he able to pull off wearing so little clothing so well?  He must take notes.  When he learns that Mammon is a model, too, he goes berserk with delight.

Cyrille finds the secondborn exceedingly stupid, although he begrudgingly gives him credit for being pretty decent at math.

Sian spots a fellow tsundere and runs away, because oh my God, it’s so obvious that Mammon likes this MC person!

Leviathan

Games?  Social awkwardness?  Extreme interest in things that no one else seems to care for?  Cyrille has found his soulmate!

Aitachi and Kirr cringe at how Leviathan spends his leisure time, but are intrigued because they have never seen such methods of gaming and media consumption before.

Leviathan is forever at Quincy’s mercy, for the fellow demon has no qualms of absolutely crushing Levi’s already non-existent self-esteem. 

Even though he loathes to admit it, Sian really likes the rhythm games Leviathan plays, and the thousands of idol posters in his room make him strangely nostalgic of his past life.

June wonders how Levi can go so long without feeling the overwhelming need to burst into a sprint now and again.

Theo almost kills the thirdborn because how is his room filled with so many Demonrito and Hell Mountain Dew containers?  What filth!

Speaking of filth, Licht finds some of Levi’s dating sims and oh my darling, some of them are quite … lewd.

Ghilley and Leviathan together construct an elaborate Lego model of a castle from the anime My Sister Is A Fairy Princess, And Her Suitor Is Secretly An Ogre From a Land Far Away And Wants to Eat Us All, And It’s Up to Me to Save My Sister’s Kingdom.

Ethan can’t even walk past Leviathan’s room without a disapproving “tut.”  Has the demon no discipline, despite being rumored to be the Grand Admiral of Hell’s Navy?

Kati spends all day poking at the cute monster and waifu figurines situated in Levi’s bedroom.  He thinks Azuki-tan is cute, but not as cute as him, and anyone who says otherwise will get bitten!

Aitachi likes to rifle through Leviathan’s anime sword replica collection and giggle because in combat, they would be of no more use than a toothpick.

Satan 

Finally!  Someone with sense! thinks Ethan.  Boy, do these two get along, right down to their educated and proper mannerisms to their mutual hatred of Lucifer.

Verine can’t go near Satan without coughing violently because the forthborn always has some manner of cat hair on him, no matter how diligently he preens.

Cats are infinitely better than dogs, so Noah sticks close to Satan.

Cyrille thought he had found a friend in Satan, who always has his nose in a book, but it turns out, Satan is more philosophically-and-intellectually-versed, while Cyrille is more scientific.

Nine likes Satan, for he is as calm as himself.  Strangely enough, they both seem to have hidden wrathful feelings and bond over this.

Kitties! :D is all Day can think when he sees the fourthborn.

Youssef enjoys Satan’s company, too, for they both are anthropological in nature—always watching, but never interfering until there is a need.

Blond and princelike are the two of them, but Louis is sorely disappointed when Satan’s royal appearance is merely a façade of darker emotions to come, where Louis enjoys life in its every aspect.  “How disappointing art thou, Satan!”  Louis throws rose petals in distress.

Kirr and Aitachi try to hunt one of Satan’s cats, thinking it was some kind of Devildom’s finest prey.  Satan does not forgive them for the attempt.

Theo sneezes the moment he enters Satan’s room.  Although everything is in its place and not truly messy by any means, he refuses to let the stacks and stacks of books sit idly by when they are begging to be put in shelves!

Quincy and Satan each add to their respective repertoire of curses in their time together.  It does not bode well for anyone in the House of Lamentation or 14th Department.

Asmodeus

They are … essentially the same person, so you can bet your ass that Licht and Asmo absolutely live for each other’s company.  They literally spend hours modeling clothes together, discussing fashion, gossiping about their romantic exploits, and praising their overall appearance.  

Louis joins in too, although he mostly stays for the latter, and the three vanquish away many nights complimenting their own and the others’ looks.

Sometimes Asmo likes to sew patches and sequins onto his clothes and mend them to his own design, and Aitachi, who likes to sew, learns many different ways of stitching from the fifthborn, although he hates the fact that Asmo, like Licht, never shuts up about what an “adorable and cute warrior” he is!

Asmo has to know Kirr’s hair care routine, which Kirr gives in one, succinct sentence: “I wash it.  Sometimes.”

Nine has to constantly flee Asmodeus’ presence because it is in his nature to compliment the Soul Reaper on how absolutely beautiful he looks.

Kati expects makeovers, all of which should emphasize his cuteness, every other day.

Don’t ask how long Mori spent calculating how much money Asmo spends on beauty products, because he wept at the end of it.

Verine refuses to step a foot into Asmodeus’ room because do you know how much his sinuses are going to bother him when he spends even a second into a room so deeply entrenched in the fragrance of flowers and perfume?

Ghilley is used to a personality so akin to his roommate, Licht, so he has no qualms in dealing with Asmo and quite likes the gossip he is quietly able to distill from the fifthborn.

Beelzebub

Brothers in their flaming orange hair, June gloms onto Beel with astounding loyalty (Theo refuses to admit jealousy, but ...), especially when he hears of his dedication to his twin.

Cyrille has to interrogate Beel on the structural integrity of his wings in his demon form because there is no way that such a flimsy apparatus could lift a demon of Beel’s stature even an inch into the air!  Also, how much does Beel exercise if he expects to gain muscle and burn off the infinite calories that he consumes?  It is a scientific mystery.

Day likes snacks, Beel likes snacks!  Everything is right in the world (even if the demon accidentally mistook Day’s hair for a mint ice cream cone).

Jamie is constantly offering fresh fruits and vegetables to the sixthborn, but even though he eats them willingly, Beel much prefers foods that will actually fill him up for a short amount of time.

Again, Ethan is appalled by the lack of discipline Beelzebub shows.  The demon is simply a slave to his appetite and deserves nothing less than scorn.

Theo cannot decide if he likes or hates the fact that Beel leaves a trail of crumbs wherever he goes.  On one hand, he gets to clean, but on the other hand, it’s so messy ... 

Even though he has many misgivings of fallen angels, even Ell cannot help but like Beel!  As long as he is fed, the demon is very sweet and kind.  

Noah likes Beel, too.  Something about his easygoing and generally cheerful personality pleases him to no end. 

Beel tried to eat Kati’s hair, thinking it was a yummy bun.  Sadly, he got bit more times than Mammon.

Youssef is a good cook and is thereby followed by Beel wherever he goes.  The kind Soul Reaper doesn’t mind, though.

Belphegor

Noah likes how Belphie takes things easily and calmly, although it probably wouldn’t hurt for him to get more exercise.

Belphegor is even more of a conundrum to June than Leviathan was.  He decides that next time he goes to the Devildom, he’s going to bring an extra pair of running shoes because the demon most certainly was wanting of physical exertion! 

Kirr is absolutely astonished at the unguarded and completely lax way Belphie sprawls out in the House of Lamentation, sleeping.  If he was an enemy tribesman, he would have no trouble in taking the demon down as he slept.

“This kind of laziness is not fit for a warrior at all!” cries Aitachi any time he seems Belphie dozing off.

Jamie likes Belphegor’s way of thinking.  Sometimes, sitting under an apple tree in the sweltering summer heat after a hard day of work just causes one to be overcome with the desire to take a nap. 

Youssef tries to brew Belphie a cup of espresso, but the caffeine just doesn’t seem to have an effect on the Avatar of Sloth. 

Although he is slightly disheartened by the fact that his quiet footsteps seem to have no effect on the seventhborn, as he is always asleep, Ghilley revels in the prospect of drawing unsavory graffiti on the demon’s face when he slumbers.

Day sometimes tries to rouse Belphie, and Belphie, in turn, tries to kill Day.

Like his observations on his twin, Cyrille cannot fathom how the demon could sleep so much.  How could one body need so much rest?

Simeon

Ell loves him.  How can he not?  He is the perfect angel!  He is also very curious as to how the Celestial Realm of Obey Me!’s world works compared to the one in AFTERL!FE.

His whole aesthetic mesmerizes Louis.  There’s something so tranquil but regal about it.  

Licht wants to know where he can get an exact copy of Simeon’s outfit because darling, it's gorgeous.

Youssef probably spends more time around Simeon than he should, but his calm demeanor is so refreshing compared to the chaos in the 14th Department and the House of Lamentation. 

Kirr and Aitachi together lament with Simeon on the struggles of working with technology.  Why is it so difficult?

Something about the angel’s holy air makes Mori very much not inclined to ask him how much the gold clasp on his cape is worth.

Quincy hates the “pretentious” and “stuck up” angel and bickers with him almost as much as he bickers with Ell.  Simeon never responds to his goading, although ... he does get a bit prickly when Quincy criticizes Luke or the Celestial Realm too harshly.

Encouraged by the prospect that he can actually breathe in the (fresh-smelling) presence of Simeon, Verine enjoys his company, but is perpetually annoyed by the fact that the angel seems to pity him for his condition.

Ethan can’t hate Simeon, either.  He is the sole honorable character he can find in the entire Devildom, even though he has to admit that it seems that the angel is hiding something.

Day really likes Simeon!  He’s so nice and is always ready to play with him.

As a man of science, Cyrille scoffs at Simeon (and Luke’s) unfaltering belief in religion. 

Luke

Kati bites him on sight.  Luke just seems irritating and how dare he think himself cuter than him!

Aitachi sympathizes with Luke, for they both lament on not being taken seriously because of their age.  

Luke reminds him a bit too much of a chihuahua for Noah to be too fond of him, but the little angel means well, so Noah suffers his incessant barking out of (Kind)ness.

Day is a human puppy ... and Luke is an angel chihuahua.  They get along great, although Luke makes it his most important goal to Christianize Day, who seems to believe in other things!

Quincy wonders when Luke will stop talking and is constantly entertaining thoughts of hastening the day when he will.  Likewise, Luke wishes the “horrible demon” would go away forever.

As a fellow angel, Ell finds Luke to be great fun.  It’s strange though, Luke seems to always be expressing the opposite of what he’s feeling in typical tsundere fashion, but he never sneezes.

Sian finds Luke to be of the utmost annoyance.  He’s so short (heh) and yappy and annoying!  

Kirr wonders if the little angel will make a good hunting dog, but after he realizes that Luke has a lot of trouble keeping his mouth closed, he thinks  better of it.

His dealings with Day cause Nine to be an excellent caretaker of Luke when Simeon is away.  You just have to deal with exuberant personalities like his carefully, is all.

Ghilley and Licht give Luke “five stars” in terms of cuteness.  The young angel does not approve!

Theo stays far away from Luke.  Children are walking crumb-and-stain-factories and he is not going to get dirty.

Solomon

Quincy and Solomon exchange many spell incantations and curses and keep the rest of the Soul Reapers, angels, and demons in an uproar with their constant shenanigans. 

When he notices that Solomon has many fortune-telling artifacts in his room, Kati rifles through them all (without permission), much to the sorcerer’s amusement, especially when Kati discovers many supposedly unpleasant things about his future.

Although Quincy and Solomon are the true troublemaking duo in terms of pranks (Satan helps, sometimes), Day and Solomon are almost equal in measure, although much of Day’s rogurey is an accident, and he never means to cause any harm!

Licht is instantly enamored by Solomon’s cape—what style!  You can see the entire Milky Way embroidered on it (Cyrille instantly assures him that that is not actually the case)!

Ghilley can’t help but wonder why anyone thinks Solomon is shady.  He seems to be a pretty upstanding, if chaotic, guy?

Youssef admires the humanity of Solomon.  In a land of angels and demons and even Soul Reapers, it’s good to have someone so normal.

Unlike Ghilley, Ethan definitely notices that something shady is afoot when Solomon is around.  Because of this, he tails the sorcerer wherever he goes, for he’d rather not a ruckus be caused.

Sian has many questions for Solomon on the status of idols in the Human World since he left it.  What are the newest trends?  The most popular groups?  The most admired dance moves?  He wants to know it all.

Barbatos

Cyrille finds the whole time-travel aspect of Barbatos’ powers intriguing and derails the butler from his duties for hours in attempts to understand the nuances of this overpowering concept.

Ethan privately thinks that he looked much better in a butler suit than the demon.  What is even going on with the front of his outfit?  A diligent and uncomplaining demon is Barbatos, and Ethan has to respect him for that, even if he is a position so beneath his own.

He’s so scary! D: thinks Day, even though Barbatos is nothing but kind to him.

Kirr likes the fine fare that Barbatos cooks, although he laments not being able to win “the mind game” against the butler, who he spends many hours staring coolly at.

Theo and Barbatos spend many an evening chatting about the best way to maintain the most perfect state of cleanliness.

The strong smell of detergent follows Barbatos sometimes, and Verine can never bring himself too close to the demon.  However, he has to begrudgingly admit that if it weren’t for the overwhelming stench of chemicals, he would be breathing in a suffocating cloud of dust particles, so he has to thank the butler for that.

Jamie gives Barbatos many good recipes for fruit pies and Youssef can’t wait to try all the (possibly) delicious recipes that Barbatos recites to him.  

Ghilley, unfortunately, finds it very difficult to sneak up on the butler, for Barbatos has seen all Ghilley’s attempts to scare him in all the timelines he has observed. 

Diavolo

This bumbling idiot is the ruler of the Devildom? thinks Ethan with great distaste.  However dignified Diavolo might be, Ethan cannot see past the blindingly cheerful mask he puts on and finds it most undignified.

A fellow royal!  How is Louis supposed to resist striking a long-winded conversation?  Diavolo entertains Louis’ pompous and overbearing self and they find each other most delightful.

Licht positively drools over Diavolo’s demon form outfit.  Just how he is pulling off that much style?

Quincy finds much enjoyment in disrespecting the Prince of the Devildom to no end and is always disappointed when Diavolo responds to his insults with a tolerating smile.

The Prince of Demons and the son of the Demon Lord are titles that are essentially the bane of Ell’s existence, but he manages to be most respectful toward him, even though he is shaking in his shoes and wondering when all their interactions will come to and end.

Day lived like a king in his past life and is not even remotely fazed by the enormous amount of finery found in the Demon Lord’s Castle.  He is, however, enamored with the Little D’s, who, when not insulting him, are great fun!

Diavolo’s lifestyle of luxury is basically Mori’s dream, so he takes every opportunity to make notes of the expensive furniture and ancient pieces.

Noah and Youssef like how down-to-Earth Diavolo is, despite his high position.  They feel as if he has something to hide, but for the most part, he is a jolly fellow and they enjoy his company.

So in pop culture, the werewolf body shape is known to be muscular & big right? But then again, if a human's body is skinny or fat, how's the muscles changing work actually? The same ask goes for the females. I don't remember which show I've seen this. But when a woman turning into werewolf, usually they will retain some of their female shape after the transformation. But others she-wolf form will looks more like the males one & that's why its confusing me when I'm making a lady werewolf design.

There are a few different things to explain the muscle increase when they transform - and the fitness of werewolves in general...

Metabolism (in both forms) - Throughout their folkloric history, werewolves (and wolves) have always been associated with hunger and gluttony, because they eat so much (not because they are gluttons but because, for them, food can get scarce fast so they eat what they can when it’s available and can eat several dozen pounds of meat at once), and also because they eat so fast. They are where the phrase “wolfing down your food” comes from. In folklore, werewolves often stay hungry and are hard, if not impossible, to truly sate.

For that and other reasons, I generally assume werewolves have a preposterous metabolism. Transforming to and from different forms would take a lot of energy, as would all the various things werewolves get up to in general. They’re very high energy beings. And they are generally depicted as not really needing much - if any - sleep, which means they would have even more energy demands. All of that, IMO, translates to eating a lot and not just because of their associations with hunger but also from simple logic - plus it makes them more interesting and gives them another aspect to explore! And, of course, this metabolism would mean they burn their body fat very fast, due to such high energy demands.

Increased body size + increased muscle mass - This will result in both more visible muscle, of course, and also less visible body fat. Again, if we assume werewolves burn their calories very fast, this will also account for the lack of body fat in general.

Increased activity in general - Werewolves don’t really ever slow down. They’re always running, hunting, fighting, whatever, even if they may not do that very much in their human form. So, along with all the other stuff I covered, I imagine werewolves don’t have a hard time staying fit. (All of these things is probably why even games like the Sims 3 have werewolves with higher hunger degrade rates, extremely low body weight increase rates, and extremely fast fitness gain rates, haha!)

Of course, all of this is just how I personally think of it. Others might have very different ideas! But these make sense to me, especially given werewolves in folklore and the things they are associated with and stuff.

As for the lady werewolf designs...

That’s totally an artistic choice. Personally, I like lady werewolves to look like... well, lady werewolves, with feminine body shapes and whatnot, but that doesn’t mean without the muscle. They don’t have to adopt a masculine body shape just because they gain muscle.

Some people, though, will have werewolves turn into big muscular and ultimately masculine-looking figures in large part due to the fact that werewolves in most pop culture are just a one-off monster of the week mystery note, and they don’t want to give away their plot twist that the girl was the werewolf instead of the guy, and you’re not supposed to expect that/be able to see it immediately because she has honkers even in her werewolf form (which I don’t see why she wouldn’t), if you catch my drift!

10) have an urge? read! watch tv! play the sims! go for a walk!
