WITH A GUN. gfrdfvb vfrdedrf #i am a very normal non anxiety having person i swear guys #worst thing i did here was have odys hands very visible for the qinny one. because i didnt realize the way they draw hands is very realisti #BUT THEIR WHOLE STYLE HAS REALLY REALISTIC ANATOMY I SHOULVE KNOWN #irunakis style is SO fun to draw in bc its a lot like some of my older art so its very familiar yk yk i wasnt worrying too much about makin #-things accurate. but i think that accidentally made me too comfortable and so i ended up straying a bit too much #i think a lot of irunaki and qinnys styles specifically is in the lineart. so me using my normal style of lines makes them less recognizabl #anyways. neals odysseus i have shit talked in private (its a good design it just feels uncanny w/ jorges voice to me) but hes really-#-interesting to draw. i wanna do style studies on neal their characters have a very. idk animated feels like the wrong word but like.#something like animated. feeling to them. theyre very distinct in shape i wanna do studies thats it #bigidiotenergy i found this morning while FINALLY looking at cloudysseus art and instantly fell in love w their design #i need to ruffle his hair. hes so silly. absolutely incredible design. but GOD was the style a nightmare #it was too late id already comitted to trying to replicate the styles. but ohhh my god its so far from my own it was so hard #theres so much detail in places i dont normally put any at all #and its like. WAUGH its scary i need to do anatomy studies in general maybe #uhh havent commented on the gigi one. he was really easy to draw though lol. weirdly enough gigis style was close enough to my current one-#-that i didnt have any trouble whatsoever? and i think its the most accurate too but only because of the lineart styles being similar lol #ALSO NOT TO PLAY FAVORITES BUT FOOP ODYSSEUS IS MY FAVORITE #I LOVE HIMMM I LOVE HIS SILLY SHAPES HE LOOKS LIKE A WEIRD CAT KINDA. i feel like all the benrey discourse is missing the point that scorpy went in, was silly, and left. that was benrey. that was the benrey experience. any attempt to understand benrey would require understanding the sick, twisted psychological labyrinth of scorpy's mind. i dont even think the hand gaslighting was intentional i just think scorpy actually zoned out for the entirety of hlvrai and went into a trance that made him roleplay as a mean gay guy.

you know, sometimes I forget that Twst is actually an isekai that starts with the protagonist getting run over by an inexplicable horse-drawn carriage. and every time I'm reminded is a delight because that's AMAZING.

also. look. okay. there's a lot of very fun stuff in the trailer but I am obsessed with that Crowley surprised pikachu face. me when I spend all my keys and gems literally hours before they announce overblot SSRs and drop the anime trailer:

#twisted wonderland #twst anime #<- gonna use that for anime stuff in case anyone wishes to filter it #this is the point where i once again have to admit that i have not really read the manga #(i've liked what i've seen but it's very hard for me to keep up with stuff a lot of the time)#(the anime may actually be easier for me to absorb it in :')#god i GOTTA draw the manga yuus #i kept meaning to when yuuna got revealed but i didn't get around to it before 7-13 ate my brain 😭#anyway the bits they chose for the trailer are pretty interesting to me!#like i think chances are good it was mostly from that one sequence because given the timeline #they probably don't have a ton of 100% finished post-comp footage yet so they probably just took what they have #but also i'm thinking back to how deliberately vague all the game promo stuff was #and...okay again i don't really know how they did it in the manga but i am reminded of how overblotting was actually like. a twist.#a twst twist #like we were introduced to it in the prologue with the mine phantom #but riddle's overblot was an actual SURPRISE and like. an instant reveal that okay THIS is what the story's gonna be about #so i'm just kinda wondering if the anime promos might also like...actively try not to spoil everything #or if they're gonna go full anime-intro 'here's all the super spoilery scenes you can expect to see :)'#basically is the marketing gonna skew towards new viewers or established fans. both valid i'm just curious!#also excuse me for a moment as i reveal myself as a hugely pretentious snob but #oh my god the backgrounds actually have some texture and shape and are taking style cues from the game backgrounds #oh my god the castle exterior actually looks illustrative and fantastic and isn't just a 3d model they plopped in #it's hard to tell at this point how consistent that'll be since most of the trailer is in the mirror chamber #but i'm just SO happy to see it! hopefully this means they weren't crunched to fuck and are able to really go ham #(the pre-isekai scenes all look more generic modern anime so like...is that a conscious artistic choice they made)#(because that would be incredible. holy shit.)

Euronymous writing in Russian + my commentary.

About the 2nd one: he probably spelled "народов" ("peoples") as "нородов" because of the stupid Russian grammar, which sometimes makes no sense. Maybe he thought there should be two о's. Like in "городов" ("cities"). 🤔 He probably forgot how to spell these words and tried to guess based on how he remembered them to sound and tried to apply logic.

so I finished side order recently

#splatoon #pearl houzuki #agent 8 #marina ida #acht mizuta #my stuff #inktober piece 2 :)#shoutout to my brother who reminded me i could replay the credits whenever because i had to get some extra refs for eight's model #and saved me from having to slog up the tower again #now if only splatoon could do that for every cutscene eh. please #i want to relive a lot of cutscenes and youre killing me for it splatoon #anyway did you know splatoon's official art has. well it wildly varies from piece to piece #they all follow like a very loose guidelines but also they all split off into their own things half the time #me with seven tabs of art trying to figure out if i want to do lines to separate pearl's fingers: so this one has lines but this one doesnt #'this one isnt relevant to this issue all fingers are splayed'#so in the end i just did whatever i wanted. i think that's a core tenet of art. do whatever you want. forever #also spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out what was etched into marina's headphones #im 98% sure it is the off the hook logo. but nothing save from booting up splatoon and checking myself would say for sure #and i didnt wanna boot up splatoon cause if i did then id inevitably be down a couple hours because 'oh well im here already. one run maybe'#but regardless!! im proud of how this came out even if i was supposed to have finished two days ago to keep with my schedule #especially the bg :) i think i did really good on that.#and eight's little smile i think thats the charm point of the whole piece and it took me about ten drafts to get it properly #i think i did good on that too.#im so enamored with splatoon rn help
