When I was younger, I used to think that Will Wood wasnt a real person, so I would always get sad while watching animation memes of Dr Sunshine Is Dead and Memento Mori:The Most Important Thing back in 2020 (I think) because I really wished that he was real so he could write more songs.

You cannot understand how happy I felt when I discovered that Will Wood, is indeed, a real person who made a lot of fricking good music.

Im actually serious, I was like, 13 years old and I was so sad while listening to those songs, saying to myself:

"I wish Will Wood the Dr Sunshine was real :("

All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.

yes, doctors suck, but also "the medical ethics and patient interaction training doctors receive reinforces ableism" and "the hyper competitive medical school application process roots out the poor, the disabled, and those who would diversify the field" and "anti-establishment sentiment gets applications rejected and promotions requests denied, weeding out the doctors on our side" and "the gruesome nature of the job and the complete lack of mental health support for medical practitioners breeds apathy towards patients" and "insurance companies often define treatment solely on a cost-analysis basis" and "doctors take on such overwhelming student loan debt they have no choice but to pursue high paying jobs at the expense of their morals" are all also true

none of this absolves doctors of the truly horrendous things they say and do to patients, but it's important to acknowledge that rather than every doctor being coincidentally a bad person, there is something specific about this field and career path that gives rise to such high prevalence of ableist attitudes

I LOVED the fight between Animatic and Exclamation Mark, the idea that at least one of the contestants can stand up (for a bit) against Animatic gives me a hopeful feeling, and it also shows that Animatic CAN be beaten if you out smart him-

Just like Exclamation Mark did! I was surprised that they waited just for the right moment to catch the host and throw a punch. I also didnt see that coming, I will be honest. EM's hability to fool others to defend themself is something I liked seeing.

The other little doodles of Animatic is because they remind me of frogs. With the way they jump n all. I tried drawing the door too, but didnt really feel like finishing it so its just a sketch there.

Btw I know that isnt a straw but I can imagine Animatic somehow messing with the universe enough to be able to drink the poor acid guy.

Ignore the bees, Rodger (my beloved) and the duo from Love of the S*n, they have nothing to do with AB but I doodled everything together so they made it into the photo 👀

Every time I see an author promoting their debut Greek mythology retelling on twitter I mourn the loss of like. To put in ineloquently. Just using these stories as inspiration for your own. Your story does not need to force itself to fit the shape of Orpheus and Eurydice it’s fine you can just allude to their story!! You can use their themes!! Nobody is going to arrest you for being allegorical instead of literal!! I might eat them alive at this point. It’s the only way.

I'm all for people hitting yams with the "long hair and a cool fashion sense" beam but my favorite timeskip flavor is lame office worker
