its identities i dont totally share cause of the different cultures and species are cisgreenblood (anywhere from greenish yellow to greenish cyan havent chosen exact birth blood colour), transpurpleblood (between clown purple & fish purple) ahemospec (like how im aspec in an abolitionist way many social constructs made up 4 oppression) maybe transrainbowdrinker just 4 fun, transids over different topic now, kismesis with someone □ has a mutual ancestor with (i believe the "ancestors usually arent like exactly the same genes the main ones in hs are just cause theyre ectobiology clones but trolls can noticeably take after specific ancestors" theory) but im just starting making this ocs stuff based on my main daydream multiverse self insert's lore so i might change stuff, ancestor is rosy maple moth themed goldblood and pails an orange gal and kismesis got a lot of those genes (no idea name cause became way too different from source character over time to still have his name but hes an annoying deceitful bitch. takes after mothgirlboy in scamming and sexual deviance, takes after orangegal in genetic predisposition for certain personality disorders and eccentric choices in headwear), orange gal also makes Troll Mabel Pines (fuchsia blood) (how do twins work if trolls and fuchsia, is one of them have to kill the other? intriguing concept) (moirail?) convverting my ocs current happenings to troll makes me realise its a lot like eridan. (in current main universe kismesis kins vriska) not sure howw 2 feel aboat that.

idk if i've ever talked abt Hazel's backstory on here or not but it's suuuuuper petty and dumb LMAOOOO

basically at some point the PizzaPlex started getting complaints from a few parents that their daycare didn't 'meet standards,' in that the 'child-to-caretaker-ratio' wasn't acceptable. So the solution was to bring an old concept out of storage and dress it up to look like a third daycare attendant! Enter Hazel, a project scrapped after the execs decided that having a rabbit (Bonnie) and a hare (Hazel) was one too many bunny-shaped mascots.

so they rush Hazel together into what is, functionally, a beta-phase of her project wearing a children's-caretaker costume, and management says 'good enough!' and they drop her into the daycare with almost zero training/socialization programming, and Sun and Moon are left with the worlds newest of new hires with little to no warning. Okay you three have fun byeeee!

Sun, not wanting to deal with training a clearly unfinished new hire, and not wanting to essentially share his daycare with some unqualified stranger, 'welcomes' her cheerfully and immediately 'offers' her her own special spot in the daycare: a corner far from where the kids normally congregate, with a small, seldom-used storage closet for her to use as her 'dressing room.' Hazel, not knowing any better and just happy to be here, is SO EXCITED and is ecstatic to start her new job as a fellow daycare attendant- and to be brought under the wing of Sun and Moon as their friend and equal. WRONG LMAOOOO Sun actively ignores her whenever the kids are around and subtly discourages them from playing near Hazel's corner, and Moon keeps to himself so often anyway that even if she had been a more active participant, they wouldn't have interacted much to begin with. She's left on her own, watching and waiting and, eventually, wondering if she was following Sun's instructions to 'stay right there and try not to have any problems' incorrectly.

At some point she wakes up and Realizes, this whole time she had been MISERABLE and LONELY and stuck on the outside looking in, and for what?? Because someone didn't feel like taking the extra three seconds to explain to her the 'proper' way to clean the daycare, or how to calm down a child thats overstimulated and cranky? Because she wasn't made correctly? And who had made her that way, anyway? And why? Why was she like this? Why hadn't anyone fixed her? Why was everything so wrong? And why did it feel like it was all her fault???

To cope with the abandonment, the anger, the loneliness, the sadness, the confusion, she twists it all together into an obsession with her own suffering and inflicting it on others in every way she can- mean jokes, twisted threats, uncomfortable bluntness, sowing strife and distrust into every relationship she comes in contact with, etc, etc. She's angry and hurting and longing for something meaningful- why should everyone else get to be happy?

Is that childish as hell. yea. is it stupid as fuck. yea. is she a dramatic little shit. yea lol

i had to reread what my initial thoughts about it bc it was months ago??? and after rereading im just like, huh what was i on— (just that feeling when you just cringe at your old posts ;; but idk i think the insanity/cringe sometimes can loop back into being a genius and the cycle just continues)

anyways i’ve been on and off writing yuusha’s bio and overblot yuu was just at the back of my mind chilling but i didn’t really do anything with it.

but now that i have the opportunity,,,, im gonna go on the magicless route this time bc i feel like I've said all what i thought if it was an overblot due to her own magic.

so uh from what i gather overblots are a mix of overuse of magic + intense negative emotion.

since it’s magicless yuu, i guess the one of the general headcanons around the fandom is that they’ve been too exposed to overblots and then intense negative emotions suddenly just triggered their overblot.

uh anyways onto the elsa parts

THE LYRICS ARE SO GOOD ;;; i really love how some broadway interpretations expand on the source material

and yeah you're right 🤧🤧🤧— yuusha would try to hide and escape, especially as she overblots bc she would try to avoid hurting people (and like elsa, it'd only hurt others more trying to escape bc of probably how she leaves destruction in her wake trying to make others stay away from her 😔)

(this is a small tangent but i remember thinking about an overblot kalim and i imagine him to be similar, like he would not hurt anyone intentionally in his overblot.)

anyways so the way it would go is that i imagine her friends got fatally injured either because a) she feels that she’s too “useless” without magic to help and wasn’t able to do anything OR b) her attempts at helping to try and prove that she can help without magic made everything worse.

and then she just goes into a guilty spiral then boom — overblot.

ALSO in the song, the way elsa briefly contemplated taking her own life but then realizing there’s no guarantee that would solve anything hnghgh (<- another unintentional parallel to my yuusha lore because that’s actually how she ended up in twst except she did NOT have the latter realization)

there’s this “yuu is dead” theory i’m just using and that the black carriage actually just caught yuusha’s soul after she took her own life from all the burden.

also some bonus angst context for that violin post :3

yuusha back in her homeworld is raised and known to be a gifted musician. people can feel the life and soul in her music but when people interact with her, they are usually met with an ice-cold (heh) personality.

the dead family member was the one who taught her music and the only one who was kind to her.

there’s always an expectation from her family to perform well and to keep up appearances as to not be a humiliation since anything she does can reflect on her entire family. (also hi, slight yuusha/jamil parallels maybe???)

the way she presents herself also stemmed from an incident as a child when she went apeshit on another kid bc she was defending a friend.

so from then on she was taught taught to conceal don’t feel those emotions — which just unfortunately extended to any positive ones, not just negative ones like rage.

so when she is brought to twst, there’s no memory of her being forced to hold back her emotions so she’s just unapologetically affectionate and open with everyone bc that’s how she really is.

but every now and then, memories of her breaking down haunt her in her dreams or as subtle reminders in the waking world.

then yuusha just goes on her day like she just wasn't reminded of her past.

(unnecessarily tragic lore my beloved, but anyway—)

Different hairdoes for Zelda, along with her version of the Sheikah eye (there’s a standard version and then individual sheikah often make their own version that has some sort of personal significance or different aesthetic)

The gang’s magical powers! I had a really fun time designing the magic system of this world with the aid of @twist-dg. Basically the short of it is every race has a power unique to them and the sages have a more powerful version of what everyone else of their respective race can do. Hylians have light powers, sheikah have shadow powers (access to fantasy hammerspace), Gerudo have lighting powers, rito have wind powers, Zora have water powers, kokiri have plant powers, and gorons have fire powers

Link’s prince outfit got redesigned to be more fancy, and also the Hylian crest is here (it is not the one that’s on the Hylian shield because that royal family got usurped and murmured several generations ago but it does have the “‘wings��” because I think it looks cool)

I drew this to reference some of the older Zelda games with the tapering blade, the two lines on the hilt, and the gem looking more like an eye than a diamond

AF 2024 really wasn't what i was expecting, but i'm still proud of the work i did on all of these pieces. purely on a technical level, i think the piece i made of Sentinel (titled Guardian of the Moon and Stars) came out the best. but overall i think my attacks look great :3

Laura’s overall design is very well done. I enjoy the fact that she is on the wider set side because it relates back to her being a werewolf. The Hellsing estate is very reminiscent of the Victorian era so her dress seems like it would be something you’d see in the show. One thing I do wonder is since she is a werewolf, does she get bothered by tight clothing?

I do see the bonuses of the sleeves she has. It hides excess body hair which could be expensive to others and doesn’t look as awkward with her gloves.

Clothing that maids wore were also dependent on their status: what they did around the house, who they reported to, whether or not they appeared in front of guests.

Maid dresses don’t have any exact look for them. A lot of servants didn’t wear the exact black and white apron look unless they were facing guests. Which I doubt Laura would be doing because of her colourful personality. If she is, maybe lean more into decorating her apron with lace. Hellsing is a little more modern. In-home or maids in the city in the Victorian era had their own dresses with patterns. Darker or muted colours. Like any other woman in their class It might be nice to see Laura have some rotating outfits that show various aspects of her personality. Part of her character seems like it is learning to be gentle with others and herself. Another thing is vulnerability? It would be interesting for her to start to explore expressing herself through new ribbons in her hair, new hairstyles (maybe done by Walter like the cute father figure he is). She has had some run ins with being some ladies mysterious wolf mistresses. It might be funny and a little interesting if she wore any gifts she got from her girlfriends or even items she stole from the guys. Like how serial killers take trophies

Biggest thing I would want to see more if is her personality showing more through her design, unless you are more telling of a story of a werewolf that has a similar loyalty to the Hellsing family as Alucard does.

I like the idea of Integra complimenting Laura wearing her hair or having a certain colours on and so she continues to wear items of the same variety.

It depends on how modern or traditional you want to go. How you see your version of the Hellsing organization. My opinion on a design change isn’t towards the dress as much as it is to accessories.

I love Laura as she is tho so feel free to shoo this away.

I adore the idea of her keeping accessories from her previous mistresses and kills, that’s genius. Little hoarder goblin has a stash in her quarters full of random shit and trinkets she stole. Maybe wearing the suit of an unfaithful groom she ate (big talk coming from her after she fucked the bride) to wear on nice occasions.

Lace is a very interesting aspect! Especially since she is french, perhaps some traditional patterns from the 18th century. Lace is also delicate and ladylike, which adds onto her being a wolf in sheep’s clothing. And more english maid than french i’d suppose, since Integra is quite patriotic.

I also really like the detail of the loose clothing you pointed out! Laura is also claustrophobic, so that is definitely a plus on her design, as well as that reflecting her personality not being strict about rules or morality. Maybe some more rips and tears here and there to reflect her more wild nature. Colors might not be her thing… but a darker palette would be interesting.

And indeed, Laura isn’t allowed near the guests lest it’s for serving things if the staff is low. She’s already all glares and no smile, no need to spook the invitees any more than they already are by this strange grumbly woman pouring them tea.

As for her loyalty to Hellsing… it is at the same time complex and simple: dogs are loyal, and Laura likes Integra as a person and sees her as a prime example of the virtues of humanity, contributed also by the fact she’s fed and clothed while not having to hide her lycanthropy (to Hellsing at least). Normally she would despise someone like Integra, as she would see her as someone who’s as all bark and no bite; but seeing Integra be not only unafraid of her and Alucard but be commanding? That’s new.

Also, part of her character is absolutely learning to handle gentler things. She is muzzled, she can’t kill just anyone, she must stay docile, she can’t hurt herself or others. Integra has a tight eye on her, and Laura definitely isn’t used to actually being cared for, or having fellow monsters that actually understand her. That’s also why she’s loyal to Integra.

I also need to post about her backstory, it’s been months since i’ve been talking about it. But i tried to fit SO much psychology explaining in there, it’s difficult to make it compact (and i don’t want to make you guys read a whole novel).

Again, i will absolutely keep this ask in mind as i redesign her. Thank you so much for it.

​"Canon" jb is a famous internet talk show host who goes by Red. He's kinda like if you crossed the flamboyancy and charisma of Ruby Rod with the knack for manipulation of a cult leader. He LIVES for drama and is damn good at instigating it. He Eternal Sunshined his entire identity to truly become his celebrity persona and as such has no idea who he "really" is. He's a black hole of a person.

The premise of his canon universe is that he paid his way to be on a colony ship bound for distant galaxy. Unfortunately, halfway through their 21000 year journey, a series of catastrophic malfunctions occur. 21 crew members are meant to wake from cryosleep to perform emergency maintenance, but the ship's computer malfunctions, causing 21 random people to be mistakenly classified as crew and awoken instead. The 21 passengers are forced to attempt to fix the ship... or die trying.

(Imagine Passengers crossed with Danganronpa, which is what Passengers SHOULD have been but it totally WASTED a good horror premise)

Daedra, Divines, and Slowburns

Rambling because I just realized some things about Astra's two potential relationships.

Both slow burns, because they're mer and they have time. Undecided which one is endgame.

Revyn Sadri -

Of the two, he actually makes a lot more sense. He's warm and gentle and has gotten to know her over a long time, first through business transactions, then as friends, and only more recently as, just maybe, something more. He reminds her that there are good people worth defending in the world, that it is okay to be kind, and that she will always have a safe place to stay if she needs it.

After her mother's death, she became interested in daedric worship. She has felt alienated from her own people (the altmer) since her birth, and feels more comfortable amongst the dunmer, whose faith acknowledges the violence with which change can occur. Religion is one point where Astra and Revyn connect. Although he isn't particularly devout, he knows a lot about the daedra, and Astra is actually sort of relieved to find someone who isn't fanatical about their religion

Ondolemar -

Speaking of fanatical. Ondolemar isn't 100% sure what he believes. But you'd never be able to tell from talking to him. The first time Astra heard him speak about the Divines, she was honestly sort of disturbed. It was like a switch was flipped- his eyes lit up, his tone became more regular and rhythmic, almost like he was reading from a script. She had seen that sort of switch before, whenever he father would echo Thalmor rhetoric, and it had disturbed her too.

But she can't look away. And when he isn't echoing dogma, he's actually surprisingly sweet. He introduces her to other altmer, finally giving her a chance to connect with the heritage she's been alienated from for so long. He answers her questions about Alinor, and tells her about what her father was like before his self-imposed exile to Winterhold.

For a long time, her most secret, stupid desire had been to connect to her people. Even after a Thalmor agent tried to execute her, 20 years prior, she had still wondered what it would be like to be part of that world. And Ondolemar gives her that.

I guess the problem in choosing one or the other, ondolemar or Revyn, is this:

It means that she has to choose between her two identities- Revyn understands the person she has become. Ondolemar gives her a way to be the person she always secretly wanted to be.

WELL! theyre kind of a nice middle ground between a sona and an oc, so it isnt cringe that im basically imagining myself racing lolol :p

but yeah obvi theyre still pretty similar to me! grew up around car nerds, grew an interest in cars and (this is where i start making things up) fixed an oldtimer that was standing around. from there on i imagine theyd fall in love with driving oldtimers, buying and fixing them up themselves and always driving around with a trunk full of random parts for when something breaks (it always does)

from a young age theyve always participated in a car club, which is where their interest for racing started !

they have a tuned miata and a daf 55 for casual driving! and they dress up like crazyyyy for any kind of event be it a race, a meet or just going to the grocery store! they also looooove blasting nightcore while driving :]
