I kind of don't like Lois, don't get me wrong she is great but the whole thing with the identity kind of ruins her for me.

It is entirely selfish of her to believe she is seemingly entitled to Clark telling her he's superman, not even Jimmy knew.

And it really doesn't feel like she had given him a reason to tell or trust her.

She betrayed his trust during their first (actual) meeting, endangering their lives and careers

Constantly pushed him to join the superman story even though he showed clear discomfort in it

Saw an opportunity that was meant to show they could report what they were asked (and possibly prove she could be trusted with more work) and used it to brazenly accuse powerful people of crimes (which is fair they definitely committed them but girl you're a reporter, subtly)

Purposely endagers herself just to get superman to talk to her

When getting an interview with superman where he doesn't immediately spill his guts to her, is angry about it (clark could have handled answers better but like does she really need to just to the worst conclusion about soups)— which inturn makes him believe she hates superman, another factor that stops him because he doesn't want to he hated

Figures out his identity and then forces him to reveal himself by jumping off the daily planet

Repeatedly talks about how she is going to reveal all his secrets to the world

I wouldn't trust her either, especially not with something that could put the lives of those I care about in danger. He has known her for less than two months and while he does love her more often than not she puts her personal goals above all else. Is that something he loves? Yes, but it's not a trait that guarantees her silences.

I don't know, I know this was meant for like the drama and I'm sure being kept in the dark about something like that feels like a stab in the back, but I just feel she was way more upset than she should have been (especially cuz based on the recent ep ending she might not trust him right now)

Im thinking about how Jon Kent does not respect Batman when he grows up and will not put up with any of Bruce's bullshit regarding Damian. This is very true in the comics. (Nightwing is his favourite and his mentor. The boy lives and breathes, standing on business with Batman.)

When Jon and Damian get older (no aged up Jon so we can see teenage rebellion), he becomes Bruce's worst nightmare.

He brings Damian home late and sneaks through his sons window to just sleep beside him. (They are not subtle about their crushes at all, but they have time to delevop before they start to date) When Bruce upsets Damian, Jon will just show up to glare at him while cuddling and comforting his son on his couch.

If Bruce really screws up, Jon just takes Damian away to the Kent house or on an adventure to get his mind off it. If Jon catches Damian and Bruce arguing, you better believe Jon is arguing now, too.

Jon is always one bad word about his best friend away from squaring the fuck up.

When Damian decides he doesn't want to be Robin anymore and instead a doctor and Bruce doesn't get his head out of his ass fast enough. Jon takes over. He and Damian organise for Damian to finish school years early, and he encourages Damian through the MCATS.

And guess where has an incredible medical program? Willing to take this 16 year old prodigy? That's right, Metropolis University.

Clark and Lois are thrilled to foster Damian while he does his degrees. (They are so proud of how much he's grown. They support him as much as possible. See, Bruce, it's not that hard!!) Jon is there at every graduation, ceremony, and crisis.

When Damian does graduate from med school and Jon his Bachelors degree, Jon and Damian start dating and quickly figure out that this is what they want for the rest of their lives.

Jon gets Damian to elope with him. They do not tell Bruce, and Batman only finds out when Jon changes his league paperwork. (Clark, Lois, and Dick were there, but Bruce had upset all of them recently, so they felt no need to tell him.)

Jon Kent then becomes the in-law from hell. Bruce never knows peace. Jon is so protective and steps in any time Bruce messes up with any of his children because now the bat family is Jons family, too.

Jon Kent doesn't take any shit when it comes to his family, especially from Batman.

Supercorp AU idea where when Clark and Lex were best friends, Clark was a decent cousin and would have Kara stay with him a Lois for a few weeks in the summer. Except he like does have a full time job? And is a superhero? And Lois is super around and cooks and stuff…on the part of the weekend where Perry White isn’t on her for 17 different deadlines. But you know who is free? LEX’s LITTLE SISTER. Who is Kara’s age and home from boarding school and whose mom says she needs to socialize more.

So what did Kara Danvers do for a month every summer from age 13-18? Get dropped off at Luthor Manor to hang out with her cousin’s best friend’s depressed sister. And then what happened? They actually got along okay. Becuase they were both hyper intelligent sapphics who were criticized for being awkward and having weird interests like biotechnology. Or deep space quantum navigation. And it would have been 100% okay. Except when Kara was 16 she showed up and Lena, who was basically her best friend ever, and knew she was an alien, and was super okay with it, Lena Luthor had spent the school year…growing breasts. And hip flesh. And thighs?

And suddenly Kara *cannot* function. Meanwhile Lena is constantly on the brink of losing it, becuase from her POV Kara was in Midvale for what ten months? And got an ab for each month. And those forearms. And still has the weird habit of making sure Lena is a comfortable temperature wherever they are which often ends in Lena wearing Kara’s hoodies. Which are a little big. Because Kara grew. Like four inches. In a year.

Meanwhile, every so often Lex and Clark insist they all do something together. Lois comes of course. Lex and Clark? No clue their younger counterparts are full of yearning. Lois? Convinced they are secretly dating, and sexually active, and Lois Lane is not going to sit there without Kara having had the talk.

Which leads to Lois giving Kara a hyperspecific sex talk. Which Kara finds to be a little weirdly focused on lesbian sex. Given that Kara…well…she’s maybe like going to be gay, but she’s not gay yet, because she hasn’t said it out loud except to the mirror sometimes. Lois even demonstrates using a dental dam on half a grapefruit. Which Kara would have been okay with not witnessing. At then end Lois says, “I don’t care what you and Lena do as long as it is safe and consensual.”

At which point Kara turns redder than her future cape. And explains that she and Lena are only friends. And Lois just blinks.

To go all the way, maybe Lex goes evil just as Lena starts college. She rushes to finish school while her mother acts as her proxy which is unideal. But as soon as she can take over she does. And the media is fascinated because this 22-year-old woman is running LCorp. Making it a force for good. But really Lena is trying to make enough of a name for herself outside the Luthor name she can move to national city and finally ask Kara to marry her. Because they remain best friends and nothing more.

Kara becomes Supergirl to save Alex, but also because when Lena becomes a CEO…suddenly Kara isn’t so sure being a personal assistant to Cat Grant will be enough to land her a date with her crush since age 14.

So yes…an idea I had. When I should have been writing a term paper.

Batfam and Danny, Part 11

A few hours later.

The JL had finished debriefing after their raid on Luthor's lab, Most members had returned to their homes, but some still remained at the Watchtower to do some work.

Clark: Danny!

Danny: Hi Clark, back so soon?

Clark: Yes, I brought my family with me.

Danny: Kryptonite weakness removal?

Clark: Yes, if you don't mind.

Danny (getting up): Not at all.

Clark: Everyone this is Danny, Bruce's grandson, aka Phantom.

Danny: Hi.

Clark: These are my sons, Kon-El and Jon-El.

Kon: Hey.

Jon (flying over to Danny and giving him a hug): Hi, it's so good to meet you! Damian talks so much about you. He really likes to have someone to teach swordsmanship.

Damian: Damian also talks a lot about you, he really likes talking about how great of a best friend you are.

Jon: Yeah Damian's a great best friend too.

Clark: Jon, give Danny some room to breath.

Danny: Don't worry, I don't need to breath.

Clark: I- never mind. This is my cousin Kara Zor-El, and her kids Otho-Ra-El and Osul-Ra-El.

Kara: So you're the kid that eat a shard of Kryptonite?

Danny: It was delicious!

Kara: There is something about the House of Wayne that makes you children a little feral.

Danny shrugged

Otho: It's good to meet you Phantom. You may call me Octavia.

Osul: And me Oscar, unlike our relatives we care about our secret identities and don't use our Kryptonian names as our Earth names.

Clark, Kara, Kon, Jon: ...

Danny: Yeah... that's a bit of an oversight.

Kon: I-

Otho: A one letter difference doesn't count.

Osul: Honesty, Kon and Con.

Clark: I- I did not bring the two of you here to judge me.

Lois: The kids has a point.

Clark: And this is my wife Lois.

Lois: Hi. Not Kryptonian so I don't need any healing.

Kon: So you can just heal our weakness to Kryptonite?

Danny: Yup, if you guys could just stand still. Danny made his way through each of them snapping his fingers. There you go, that should due the job.

Bruce: Let's see. Bruce reached into his toolbelt and took out a small shard of Kryptonite. Here you go.

Kara: You just keep Kryptonite, on your person?

Bruce: Clark gave it to me.

Clark: I give all the Kryptonite I find to Bruce for safe keeping.

Kara: I knew that, I just didn't expect he'd just carry it around at all times. Anyways let me see. She picked up the shard of Kryptonite and fiddled with it. Hmm nothing. Clark. She threw the shard to Clark who likewise felt nothing. They proceeded to pass the shard to each other till it returned to Kara.

Kara: Yeah, this thing is useless.

Danny: Does that mean I can eat it?

Bruce (looking at Danny): I'll like to keep it for research if you don't mind Clark.

Clark: Sure thing I gave them to you for a reason- oh... guess your contingency plans won't work anymore...

Bruce: Yeah, I'm already working on a way to harvest the power of an artificial red star in a small easy to carry object. So don't sleep too soundly.

Clark: Yeah that's fair. Let's go I'll help you.

Some time passed, Bruce and Clark were working on Bruce's plan to make an artificial red sun, Kara, Otho, and Osul were sunbathing on the outside of the Watchtower, and Danny, Kon, and Jon were just chatting.

Danny: Wait there's something that doesn't add up. If you're 12 and your parents are 34, then that means they had you when they were-

Jon: 22, yes.

Kon (laughing): Mom and dad, and uncle Jimmy, graduated from high school when they were 16, and college at 19. They all started working at the Daily Planet shortly after that, that's when they all met. Mom and Dad quickly became close and then a few years later during a workplace party, mom and dad both had a little too much to drink and nine moths later my little brother here was born, a few weeks before our parents turned 23.

Clark (who walked over): Yeah Ma and Pa were a little upset about me having a kid so young, but they were a massive help during Lois' pregnancy and with Jon as a baby.

Lois (laughing): My dad on the other hand almost marched over to Clark's apartment with a shotgun when he found out.

Clark: I don't think he's ever fully forgiven me.

Lois: Nonsense he loves you!

Jon: Look if anything I get to brag to Damian that I'm 10 days older than him. It makes him so mad.

Danny: Yeah I read about the circumstances surrounding Damian's birth. Look, I've never meet Talia al Ghul, I'm sure she's a smart person, but if you're going to seduce someone to get blackmail out of them, don't get so involved into the conversation that you end up drinking so much, that you end up having a drunken one night stand.

Bruce: I really should have kept track of how much we had both been drinking, but Talia knew how to hold a conversation. That was an interesting night nonetheless...

Kon: How about the night of the pink Kryptonite incident from 8 years ago?

Bruce and Clark: WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT!

Danny: ...

Lois: Still can't believe you threw the pink Kryptonite into a black hole rather than keeping it for us to use.

Clark: And I can't belief that's what you decided to focus on.

Lois: What? I can't blame you for what happened, we had never come across pink Kryptonite before, so you and Bruce went to test it in a safe isolated environment. None of us could have predicted that it would do what it did, let alone that it would indirectly have the same affect on non-Kryptonians. The whole thing was nothing more than an accident.

Danny: What did it do?

Bruce and Clark: NOTHING!

Just a few notes from the author:

In this AU Otho and Osul are not Phaelosian but Kryptonian. They also survived the destruction of Krypton.

Clark arrived as a baby 34 years ago.

Jon was born 12 years ago.

Kara arrived on Earth 7 years ago, at age 16, is now 23.

Kon joined the family 6 years ago (then biologically a 14 year old) is now 20 years old.

And Otho and Osul arrived on Earth 2 years ago at 14 years old, they are now 16, and were adopted by Kara.

p.s. I kinda messed up the timeline a bit with the ages, I wanted Bruce to adopt Dick when Bruce was 24 and Dick 14. In the present Dick is 25 and Bruce 34 (still hasn't turned 35). Then I decided to make Bruce and Clark the same age so Clark is also 34. Then I decided to make Damian and Jon 12 without doing the math that Clark and Bruce would have been 22 when they had them...

By the time I realized, I just decided that what happened happened and rolled with the idea.

Lastly pink Kryptonite in this AU basically causes the Kryptonian to develop a blinding level of lust for the first person they see, a feeling that can transferred to the person if there's any physical contact between them.
