Jon has a temper and heart that gets him in trouble.

Let him love Damian like it's breathing and be so ready to fight for him, against anything. Because Damian is good and anyone who says he is not is wrong.

Let him fight for justice and freedom, not approval. Because what's right isn't always what's popular with the people in charge.

Let him rage, protect, and be kind in the way he is not nice.

Let him be traumatised and do anything to stop it from happening to anyone else.

Let Jon Kent be a menace with his heart on his sleeve.

Gray has such a mouthful of a name bc I couldn't pick between giving him a standard human name or kryptonian name, so he gets all of the above. Gray is a reference to his uncle's name, Dick Grayson, and Thomas is in honor of his late grandfather on Damian's side. Van-El is a reference to the original Nightwing, Van-Zee, and is Gray's hero name. Gray was created in the same manner Connor was concepted--as a clone using DNA from both Damian Wayne and Jonathan Kent. He lives as the two's surrogate son, having the powers and talent of both parents.

Damian Wayne is a hopeless romantic.

He is Talia 'I still call him beloved' Al Ghuls son.

He reads romance manga and watches romance anime.

He quotes Shakespeare.

He grew up in the League of Assassins dreaming of family and finally earning the love he was withheld.

It is no wonder that when Damian falls, he falls hard?

It's a love story for the ages, and Damian both adores falling in love with his best friend and hates it!

Because Jon Kent is his rivals to friends to lovers arc and Damian can't help romantic the crap out of it. Its so cliche, but Damian has held him at Sword Point on multiple occasions, so at this point, they are an evil king away from a full-on romance novel.

And Damian has read that book. He can't wait for their happy ending.

He keeps a journal of how they get together so he can show their kids someday.

Jon as much as he was annoyed by it when he was younger loves when Damian explains stuff to him when he gets older.

It can still feel a bit condescending sometimes, but it's the passion in Damians' words that endears him.

Damian just knows and cares about so much that Jon Kent loves listening to him. He gets so excited the longer he is allowed to lecture (Ramble).

Jon does still tease Damian for the sheer absurdity of his knowledge, though. Why would anyone need to know the exact chemical makeup of granite or the number of teeth a lion has?

They're on a little lunch break from crime fighting. Damian's sulking about having to wait but I think he secretly wants a home packed lunch too (he'll complain a ton about Jon's lunch breaks till Alfred figures he's jealous and packs him his own)

A drugged Damian Wayne is a clingy, adorable mess, but he is never allowed to wake up alone.

The last time Jon accidentally went to get food for 5 minutes while Damian was still knocked out. He returned to his furiously sobbing boyfriend being comforted by the nurses who all glared at Jon until visiting hours were over.

Dick has a drugged Damian protocol where Damian isn't to be left alone under any circumstances.

When asked why he goes pale and whispers that he swears the nurse tried to kill him when Damian was 11 and he made the mistake of leaving the room to take a phone call instead of waking Damian up.

this is a concept I've been working on for a personal vigilante persona for damian because I don't think he should just be kept as robin then forced into the batman role because he's the blood son. I think, that if he does decide to continue being a vigilante as an adult, he would create his own persona with links to his interests and his upbringing in the league.

The name (Diaemus) is the scientific name for the white-winged vampire bat - a small, carnivourous bat species known to be picky about thier prey and the groups they surround themselves with.

Thinking about Street Artist Damian.

A Damian who rebelled by becoming a doctor. That believes Gotham can be better.

That writes his love letters to the city on brick and stone.

That tries to fill it with more colour on the nights he misses being out on rooftops, and nightmares won't let him sleep.

He paints tributes to his family, portrays the city's strength on towers and gargoyles

At first, not many people notice. The people of Crime Alley appreciate the art but doubt it'll last long. The richer gothamites ponder it as a new installation.

Damian keeps going. Pours his love into artistic representations of the heroes.

Batman, in his characteristic black on a background of wild blooms.

Spoiler, in bright purple, watching the alleys protectively.

Signal, bright, and foreboding on the wall of a shelter.

Orphan is a silhouette among the figures of happy people, guarding them.

Nightwing flips and flies on bridges and overpasses.

Red hood stands over housing estates and apartment blocks.

Red Robin is painted on the roofs and alleys granting safe passage.

The street children count the pretty drawings, they soon realise they appear where it's safe to sleep.

The downtrodden follow blue birds to shelters and food banks.

The injured follow red bats to free clinics and hospitals.

If you find a yellow bird, it usually means there is a box of food, blankets, and cash nearby. They refill every few days, and people take what they need.

There is a code painted on Gotham streets if you care to learn it.

Damian watches it all with a secret smile.

He paints flowers on lampposts and park benches. He draws cats outside the windows of the children's hospital.

When he has a bad night, he paints for the city he can't fight for anymore but protects all the same.

When Jon catches him one night, years after he starts his murals, the Super just smiles and helps him reach higher spots.

Superman flies through the city and tries to find each piece of art.

There are dogs with capes now outside the children's hospital.

Jon kisses Damian for the first time when he sees the giant portrait of Superboy watching over the Gotham library. Damian holds his hand with spray paint covered fingers

Jon Kent adores his boyfriend. Everything about him is perfect in his eyes. Damian is funny, strong, and breathtakingly kind.

He just wishes Damian would stop sacrificing himself.

He gets it. He does. Damian was raised to be weapon, to be used, but Jon wishes he loved himself a little bit more.

He is terrified that Damians bleeding heart is going to get him killed, and Jon isn't sure he can live without him.

In light of recent comic runs making him literally smaller than a ten year old at fourteen. I have a headcannon about Damians height.

Despite being the son of two very tall people, Damian is the smallest of his siblings' bar Cass for a few reasons.

He was overtrained as a child and taught to survive starvation and sleep deprivation. This stunted his growth massively.

The next issue comes from his death. Damian was revived using a Chaos Shard. It restored his life but did not restore his body completely, unlike the Lazarus pits. All this delayed his growth spurts until his late teens, early twenties.

And even after the growth spurt, he is still shorter than his brothers!

Damian hates it. Kind of.

He likes tucking his head under Jons chin when they cuddle, not that he will ever admit it!

Damian Wayne is a flirt!

He has no chill at all. He is Talias son, the woman is a walking love letter.

Damian, once he realises he is in love with Jon, has no qualms about expressing it.

He is constantly touching Jon, running his hands along his shoulders and 'accidentally' invading his space, only to walk away like it never happened. He calls Jon petnames in six different languages and openly talks about how much he admires and adores Jon. Damian teases him constantly and delights in watching Jon blush.

He even goes as far as the whisper little promises into Jon ear during meetings that make Jon feel like he is going to faint.

And Jon is losing his mind. Damians flirts and teases are driving him crazy!

One day, when Damian is teasing him yet again, Jon finally breaks and basically tells Damian to either do the things he keeps talking about or shut up because he can't take it anymore.

Safe to say, Damian definitely never stops his flirting, and Jon grows to very much enjoy the teasing. even if his face is almost permanently red.
