Ended up getting cheap drinks at The Old Spaghetti factory with my old roommate, her partner and one of my best friends because she has a hyperfixation on it. I think that's hilarious and adorable because she's 32 and a teacher and a bona fied Weirdo and I love that for her.

Afterwards we came back to our apartment to drink wine because, surprise surprise, OSF does not have great wine lmao. When we were making our way upstairs we came across a wet dish towel, an unplugged hand mixer laying on its side, and white powder all over the hallway. Aries and I were like "...so that's new". Our neighbour came rushing out of her unit apologizing profusely "MY DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW BUT SHE IS ASLEEP AND I NEED TO MAKE ICING I'M SO SORRY I WILL CLEAN IT UP". The image of her sitting in the hallway on the floor making icing for her daughter is just so very precious and loving, and it was good way to end the night with warm feelings about humanity and our rituals.

Anyway, back to work tomorrow, and back to temperance.

was thinking about the wizards again. as one does. i know i talk a lot about them but 1) i like them 2) akira likes them 3) they become very entangled in akiras life in every verse where theyve met or knows them, and even in verses where they dont (or forgotten them) theyll always have a vague feeling of 'something happened' regarding certain topics (i.e. the moon)

&& while it doesnt explicitly come up 90% of the time, akira having lost twentyone dear friends so suddenly once they return to their world is something they have to deal with post-canon, & theyre very likely to think of those memories & friends like.....A Lot. they & their interactions with akira is just rlyyyyy important even when akira cant meet them anymore

Also the difference between good and great yeast bread is PURE intuition (and technique). Recipe? What recipe? The only ingredients are flour water salt time and temperature, and the latter two are subject to your kitchen and the weather on any given day

Not to be cringe on main but i did put together a little amazon wishlist for some things we want/need for the apartment. How on earth, does Dua have lists worth of unreleased songs that are leaked fully, but us Mixers have only like 10 leaked songs or so from LM... this just hit me and I'm kinda sad...
