Thinking about how Beatrice speaks mostly in verse in her Much Ado soliloquies while Benedick speaks mostly in prose, but once Beatrice starts trusting Benedick, she adds a few more blank verse lines to her actual dialogue exchanges with him (most notably, the raw as fuck line “I would eat his heart in the marketplace”). And then Benedick picks up the habit and starts using iambic lines in his own dialogue to match hers 😭

[It’s even called out in-text by Benedick complaining about how hard it is to write in blank verse, immediately followed by him greeting Beatrice in verse, which she responds to in iambic pentameter, completing the verse-coupled response 😭😭😭]
