in the expanse books arjun is such a sweet old nerd and he and avasarala are so in love that it curtailed my avasarala/bobbie thoughts. like yeah they have Something going on but i'm not ideating on it.

meanwhile in the show they gave arjun more screen time so he could get involved w avasarala's campaign + fight with her about being a control freak shadow govt bureaucrat. i'm torn because it is arjun slander but it is fun characterization for show avasarala. but MOST importantly making them act divorced means that when I see avasarala doing billionaire romance shit* to bobbie i am totally free to go Heh heh heh...
