Searching for Oswald ... and Chicken is such a wild episode. Like, the A plot is Dagur facing his guilt surrounding the fate of his father and his potential hand in it, finding the hope to reunite with and reconcile with his previously presumed dead father and ultimately learning that Oswald is, in fact, dead, and Dagur might have been able to save him when he first went missing if he'd just went looking for him

And then the B plot is the twins, Astrid, and Snotlout uncovering Tuffnut pet chicken's secret affair with an unknown rooster and her 8 illegitmate chicks that she has been actively hiding from Tuffnut for several weeks

your in-universe twitter meme posts (which are incredible btw) have got me thinking about the fan response to Riko and Jean showing up to the Foxes first match of the season against the Longhorns. like, gay exy twitter making jokes about Riko showing up with his new man like a jilted ex trying to make Kevin jealous bc no one has seen Jean outside the nest except for games so he’s obviously Kevin’s replacement. Riko fanboys scrambling to pivot to “of course we should be taking this seriously if The King is showing up”… memes about Jean and Riko watching from their little box or whatever coming all this way to watch the Foxes compete. The only arthurian relationship triangle I enjoy is the one where Tristan has a “fight on sight” policy with both Lamorak and Palomides.

A Rivalry Triangle, if you will.

I think the funniest iteration of this would be to have Lamorak trying to start a life long rivalry with Tristan, Tristan trying to maintain his rivalry with an increasingly exasperated and uninterested Palomides, and Palomides in a rivalry with the questing beast cause he only has enough emotional investment for one life long enemy.

sometimes I randomly think about the time a girl posted in this girls only Facebook group I’m in telling everyone how she broke up with her boyfriend and he lied saying that he lost the spare key she gave him, only to then break into her apartment when she wasn’t home and steal the cat they’d adopted while they were together, but then he denied having done this and she didn’t really have proof that he took the cat since he wouldn’t let her come into his place and look for it. And then another girl saw this post and knew her ex-boyfriend, and she was like “girl. I used to hook up with your mans back in xxxx and I still have his number. If you want, I’ll hit him up and get him to invite me back to his place and see if your cat’s there.” And the OP was like “bet.”

So this woman hit up homie dog, asked him out for drinks, went home with him, slept with him, and then woke up in the middle of the night and TOOK THE CAT. Like she had only said that she would confirm if the cat was there but then she took it upon herself to steal this woman’s cat back. Like she full on Trojan horsed this man and then hit up homegirl like “I got the goods. Where you wanna meet.” And then the two of them posted a photo of them together with the cat to the group.

And I just think women supporting women is so beautiful.

but just now when you called his name loudly and it echoed in his flat, he felt the alarm bells ringing in his head.

he tried to act nonchalant when you stepped in front of him with your arms on your hips. your face was cool but simon could feel the anger behind your eyes.

"yes, love? wha' is it?"

"did you eat my pudding?" you glared at him, crossing your arms.

simon internally winced at that. yes, yes he absolutely did. but simon can't just admit it or else he would be the receiving end of your fury (he already did). he had to protect his pride as your loving and considerate boyfriend no matter what.

you looked at him, unimpressed. there were no words exchanged but the moment simon denied it, his fate was already sealed. your stare said it all.

you're sleeping on the sofa tonight.

and when you walked away, simon's brain frantically tried to come up with excuses and apologies.

the thing about trying to recommend fiction podcasts to someone who isn't familiar with them is that not only are so so many genres represented but also the level of production can fall anywhere from "basically an audiobook" to "major motion picture minus the pictures"

One of the big differences I've noticed from getting into Chinese dramas is how spoiled you get from gifsets of shows you've never watched. You see a gifset from an American show of one person cradled in another person's arms, pierced with multiple arrows and spitting blood, and suddenly you've been spoiled for a major character death. You see the same thing in a Chinese drama and you've gained a net zero information wise.

i think too many people misinterpret what i mean when i say i ship billford. like no, i do not want them to be together happily eventually. i dont even want them to be together. the ship so goddamn toxic that there is only misery and old broken remnants of feelings and longing for something that couldve been but never will be. they will never be happy in each others lives and i want to keep it that way. dont get it twisted thinking im just shipping cute little yaoi and i want them to kiss in canon. no. this is something much deeper and intimate and painful. this aint my first Toxic Old Man Yaoi rodeo and it wont be my last. there is no happiness here.
