thinking about crowyuan saving liu qingge from his qi deviation and disappearing before he can fully wake up so he won't be recognized (him being a demon and all), but it causes liu qingge to accidentally mistake him for shen qingqiu.

there is a massive fight during the next peak lord meeting, with liu qingge accusing shen qingqiu of saving his life and not taking responsibility for it as if it's a war crime, while shen qingqiu keeps denying he had anything to do with it and if he had saved liu qingge, he'd be rubbing it in his face every chance he got.

it escalates and escalates until liu qingge, red with embarrassment and anger, points at shen qingqiu and says "you were cradling me in your arms!" and shen qingqiu explodes.

mu qingfang tries to calm them down by saying that perhaps liu qingge hallucinated, which is not uncommon for a qi deviation, but that sets off some of the other peak lords who now start teasing him for "dreaming of shen qingqiu coming to rescue him", and of course that only makes it worse.

liu qingge refuses to let it go and starts bringing shen qingqiu his victories to try and pay off his debt, because he is an honorable man and he will not let shen qingqiu get away with this!!

meanwhile shen yuan is watching it from a distance wondering whether he made it better or worse by stepping in.

I feel like people understand that Dick changed while Jason was gone, but where it goes wrong half the time is people assume that Dick "growing up" meant that Dick was irresponsible around the time he and Jason interacted/was mean and unable to conceal his jealousy well, which he then evolved from due to Jason's death and was able to build a loving big brother relationship with Tim and Damian and fix his relationship with Bruce.

Meanwhile canon is like:

>Be me, Dick Grayson, esteemed and respected leader of the Teen Titans

> Your younger brother dies

> Fire the youngest member of the Titans because it happened because you had a crisis of responsibility about child vigilantism

> Get punched by your not-official dad

> Help mentor new younger brother because you can't stop him and Bruce from the path they're on, and like hell is another kid going to die

> Kid dies. Not that one. The ex-member of the Titans died disobeying your orders and saving the world in a heroic sacrifice you didn't want him to make, this is exactly what you tried to avoid

his line about saying with full sincerity that life is marvelous.

why didnt i hear of this until now i crave to know every little difference between translations so i can cry again and again over the same guy.

#i love all the other translations dont get me wrong #there hasnt been any new content of futuee trio in 10 years i need to sustain myself somehow #no but fr 'now that the end is approaching... i can say without hesiation... and #with full sincerity... life is wonderful'#hey localization team wtf #i like other translations where dusknoir specifically says hes not wavering up till the very end #that he lived #its concise yet unflinching. a state of fact. despite all the darkness that surrounded him and he tried to perpetuate #in the end he lived. his existence happened. thanks to grovyle he can embrace the life he had and let it go with no regrets #but this IT version where it feels a little more abstract and less individualistic doesnt turn me away either #it puts the focus a bit away from himself to make a more encompassing statement: life is wonderful #living is wonderful #i dont think its inherently better or worse. i appreciate the difference. i think celebi says sth similar afterwards too #btw i teared up while taking the screenshots thank you in the morning sun #btw x2 idk italian so thank god these structures were so close and similar to spanish and latin #pmd2 #pmd dialogue
