#alek art #zane julien #previous master of ice #ninjago #lego ninjago #2024 #aka the scene i wish we got in snake jaguar ...#zane is like 30 here #im mostly thinking about dr juliens perspective on this night. we have very little to go off of but he was very weirded out #random very sick old man shows up at your door and takes an “interest” in your son. he isnt even over for an entire day. with him comes col #he was striken with winter and something about him felt off. he leaves without a word. after his arrival your son begins acting weird.#then another old man arrives. asking for your son. wonder what happened there #for anything about passing on powers or losing them its always some big event... hm #i think the previous master really did need shetler. we know he was old and died shortly after the power giving. i dont know what about #zane caught his eye. i do think its very interesting that this man of few words was so obviously fascinated that dr julien noticed.#dr julien isnt the most socially aware and in the little bit he said about the previous master... he sounded concerned #imagine weirding out the weirdest man alive #i think zane caught on too. he felt eyes on him the entire night. they ate dinner with the man.. gave him shelter... but he felt he wanted #more. sometime that day he gave zane the power of ice. which effectively changed the course of his entire life. zane and dr julien hadnt a #clue what happened. 'yesterday a man arrived' so not even within a day did he see zane and decide that he was the one #thinking about how zane acting like his self now is 'strange' and was out of the ordinary. what was he like before? how do you even pass a #power down. we see people get their powers stolen and its always a spectacle and its so exhausting and so on. how did dr julien not see #anything. there was no questions? he just noticed the previous master found his son interesting and then he left ?#goddddd im insane i wanna write a fic about zane pre series

something that makes me sad is when people tell me the healthy communication in my writing is "unrealistic."

like guys this is how me and my partner talk with eachother... I'm writing from personal experience...

Finishing a little life just now got me to the point where I had to read without my glasses because they kept getting fogged up from me crying so damn hard.

Anyways I rated it 5 stars even though it took me over 200 pages to truly get into it, it was worth it in the end, what a book. I've never read something before that made characters feel so real. I'll never forget how emotionally devastating this book was and I'll never ever forget Jude

#would I recommend this book tho? probably not #it's very heavy #with subjects thst just kept getting worse and didnt get better #plus the way it's written isnt for everyone I think #I started appreciating it after reading a few classics #that you don't need to move a story quickly to tell things #besides it did move quickly in a way considering it took place over about 25-30 years #anyways I'll be thinking about this for the next few days before I pick up a new book. I can't see myself moving on from it quickly haha #also I had “lights are on” playing on repeat while reading so whenever I'll hear that song somewhere else this'll be the first thing I think #of #currently reading #talktag #a little life

i know i’ve said that being able to do the stereotypical insane ao3 authors notes is fun and amusing to me but can the universe NOT take that as a challenge to add more shit to my list of things to add next time i post ???? like. fucking. Calm Down Please.

#situations keep happening and i am TIRED #had to restrain a kid at work today which was AWFUL but he was trying to run into the road so i literally had to #almost cried bc of it but got the situation under control #but then when on my way to meet w coworkers to carpool to a meeting #my tire popped #super fun times super awesome super great #i mean my mom helped and we got it all fixed and handled #but basically from noon to like 6pm my mom and i were dealing w it bc everything had to be COMPLICATED #so i only just got home like 45 mins ago ish and i am SO tired holy fuck #but im eating left over orange chicken and then gonna shower and then just gonna be lazy and read and maybe write #if i have the brain power i will work on hb chp17 #but i also have a 4 hour training for work tomorrow so yeehaw #its 12:30-4:30 which isnt that bad but still #im also going to my dads afterwards to stay the night and visit him and my siblings #which is a good thing dont get me wrong i love visiting them #it just means i wont have a lot of freetime this weekend to work on writing and cleaning and stuff #not the end of the world and definitely worth it to see my dad and my baby siblings #but i wish it was a 3 day weekend so i could also have a day to just stay home and do things that i havent had the time to do yk #oh well. tis life. adulthood. having to handle situations and finding the best out of shitty circumstances. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I truly apologise but I've never found a character more irritating than Ruby Rocks. It is severely impacting my ability to watch a crown of candy because this bratty literally-the-embodiment-of-the-status-quo bitter bastard child won't stop sulking and being shitty to the only good surviving member of this royal bloodline (Saccharina).
