I wish depression were an emergency. I wish someone could take one look at how sick I am and go “oh my god, we need to get you to a hospital!” and then when we get there I get rushed into surgery and the surgeons say “it’s a good thing you brought her here when you did, this is a seriously advanced case” and then they put me under and spend the next ten hours pulling metres of long, sticky black strands of gunk out of my body, throwing it immediately into an incinerator so that it can’t infect anyone else. And then they could stitch me back up and I could rest a few days, and when I leave the hospital everyone can see how much better I am and they congratulate me saying “well done, you’ve been so brave, I’m so glad you’re ok. i was wondering, it seems like there will be many worlds. can mc choose which world to settle in at the end of the story? will mc recall each world when they're in it or is that only when ... in the departmental area or the system mall?

also what does it mean that 'words will be repeated'? like signature tropey lines??? will character types be repeated too? or ooo the characters themselves? like if we see character a in world zed, will we be able to see them in world delta too or something? sorry for the 20 questions, i am excited.

Yes! and your MC does have the freedom to choose, but only if you decide to retire after completing the mission. That’s the only way for the MC—or any Agent of the Bureau—to settle inside a mission world.

Agents usually remember each mission world. However, there may be rare cases like bugs during missions—that cause amnesia, or when certain departments use memory-sealing.

The MC will 'accidentally' lose their memories and believe they’re truly part of that mission world and that they’ve been reborn and given a second chance at life.

After that world, though, you’ll be given a choice: to seal your memories for each new mission or choose to keep them.

Ah, that! You can disregard it—it’s just an inside joke between the MC and System 143 😹😛 System 143 is always trying to convince the MC to fall in love and find their soulmate, while the MC is more focused on completing the mission... or maybe not?

will character types be repeated too? or ooo the characters themselves?

There will be similarities, but it's not that they’re the exact same characters. Only their physical appearance might repeat. For example, a character from World A might look similar to a background character in World Z. Since these are novel worlds, the important plot-relevant characters are generated with care, while background or passerby characters are randomly generated so… yeah 👀

But there will be the same [REDACTED] too spoilery... though I think you’ll get what I mean. Most quick transmigration stories have this element… but I’m not sure if the ones you’ve read include it. Still, I think you’ll catch on ehe ^^

Is MC gender-locked female & are the main love interests gender-locked male?

Currently, yes. Right now, it's just easier for me to write if I have consistent variables and characters in my head. It also helps me focus on just finishing the stories because I want to make sure each route gets the attention it deserves. Rest assured, I WILL introduce more gender options for both the MC and the main love interests, and it will be something I keep in mind as I'm writing!

How long is this game going to take to complete?

Unfortunately, it's probably going to take a really long time. This is one of the most ambitious writing projects I've done and life is unpredictable but I will do my best!

Are there more love interests/routes planned?
