There's a lot of speculation about Aziraphale's thoughts and motivations in accepting the Metatron's proposal. Nothing is known for certain at this point, so nothing's impossible yet.

Personally, though, I don't think Aziraphale was talking in code to Crowley in that final conversation. Nor do I think he was very skeptical of the Metatron at first. No, I genuinely think he bought it at first. And here's the thing: I don't blame him.

The Metatron is a fucking master at this. He offers Aziraphale everything he could want, everything he's ever wanted to hear, on a shiny silver plate. Buddy, I would jump at that. Most of us would. We might know better on some level, or at least be suspicious, but we'd want to believe so bad, we'd probably push that aside. And Aziraphale holds out at first, even when he's offered the chance to change everything. He's saying no... up to the point that Crowley is brought up. That's the sweetener. The Metatron saves that for last, knowing that if nothing else works, that will.

And he's right. Of course he is. He assessed this situation and he had every angle covered. It's not a mark against Aziraphale that it works. Again, everything he's ever hoped for. It's too good to be true, but it's also too good to pass up.

I think he's being genuine in his conversation with Crowley. Nervous? Yes. It's a HUGE change he's contemplating, a massive responsibility. He's undoubtedly got some doubts lurking in the back of his mind, not helping matters. And of course there's no telling how Crowley will take it. All of this is more than enough to explain his jitters and his too-wide smile as he makes his pitch. There's genuine hope in his face and his voice, though. His idealism and optimism have been expertly tapped into. He's willing to at least consider that they're not being played, because oh, he wants so badly to believe it. He's believed a lot less appealing lies before.

And I think it's Crowley who cracks that optimism. Harshly, but effectively. I'm not saying Aziraphale wouldn't have developed his own suspicions, because he would have. But it would've taken longer, and crucially, might not have started to happen until he was already in Heaven and essentially trapped.

Crowley's argument, his reaction, the vehemency of it startles Aziraphale. He doesn't fully understand it. But it gets him thinking. It gets him doubting. Crowley's always been good at that.

He's wary when he follows the Metatron out. His glee has been shattered, and that's good, because when the Second Coming is mentioned, then we see the cautious look kick in. Crowley's shaken him out of himself. He hasn't won the argument - neither of them has, there are no winners here - but he did accomplish part of his goal, which was to make sure that Aziraphale doesn't walk into this blind.

Again, I'm sure Az would've woken up himself. But not soon enough. He'd be holding onto hope as long as he could. And as long as he held onto it, he'd be in the Metatron's control.

I won't reveal who I was, but I saw firsthand how these bloggers, claiming to be friends in real life, are actually deceiving everyone—they're all liars. Behind the scenes, they're working regular jobs while curating content from friends and family to share as their own as proof. Many of them have multiple accounts and blogs to give the illusion of authenticity. If you don't believe me, create a fake account and replicate the process—fabricate a success story, and watch as bloggers emerge from the shadows seeking help. Most of them have disappeared now... I wonder why that is, lol. It's time to open your eyes to the reality behind these façades and question the true motives driving this deceitful tumblr .

Despite the presence of manifestors, witches, and astrologists manifesting against Donald Trump in the world it's amusing to see that he still emerged victorious and by a whole lot!!!

Please, there are bloggers out there sharing and telling us to save Palestine, claiming you can manifest a trillion dollars out of thin air, yet they can't manifest an end to war or even a simple solution. They say you can't control other people, yet they talk about manifesting specific people,, changing your family completely, or even your own race. You all were claiming you were manifesting Harris. I thought manifestation never fails, loool. "Oh, just persist, it will reflect like Neville leaving the war," they say, but all Neville managed could very well fall under the coincidence category, just like healing a burned hand, hahahahah. It's baffling that people are wasting their lives on something they know deep down is false. For the children in this community, just stick to a routine, focus on school and work, and foster your own life. While doing so, perhaps listen to subliminals, but don't rely on these vicious lies. Your time and energy are too precious to be spent on such unfounded claims.

Before you start getting defensive in my comments, take a moment to think and tell me how long you've been manifesting. How long have you been persisting in this process? Share in the comments first, and reflect on how little has actually changed. When you ask questions of these bloggers, why do they always seem to victim blame you instead of providing real answers? They claim to love and care about you so much, yet they charge for subliminals and can't manifest even simple things like you entering the void state. They talk about being able to shift reality and consciousness, yet they can't offer real help. Isn't this just typical cult behavior? Some of these bloggers are in their 20s and live on disability, which gives them both the time and money to spread misinformation and false hopes. If you're young and still have potential, please make wise choices. Some aspects of spirituality are indeed real, and manifesting can be a genuine practice, but remember there's a reason why 99% of these bloggers are deceitful. They all eventually leave before their lies catch up with them. It's a disgrace that they pretend to help you in their DMs while knowing you're struggling with issues like poverty and abuse. I truly hope things improve for you, but don't rely on this cult-like mentality.

Critics might come into the comments and claim you just have doubts, but that's not the case. Once I left the Law of Assumption and started genuinely working, studying, and ensuring my grades were satisfactory, my life changed. I got a boyfriend, landed my dream job, and even took steps towards my desired appearance with a nose job. These achievements didn’t just materialize from thin air; they came from hard work. I accomplished more in three months after leaving the cult than some do in five years. I know people who've been in this community for a decade—when will they wake up to reality? I think another part of it is the author taking what they know about communication and about the characters, and not necessarily separating what they know from what the characters know. it's like... you know how for stage fighting, you have to get someone really good to play someone really bad at it because someone who's *actually* bad might severely injure the other person? there's being bad at communication, being good at communication, and then being good enough to understand the different ways to use being bad at communication to construct conflict in the context of a narrative. obviously character analysis also plays a part in it, but folks in general don't always have the instinct to explore 'how to say things worse' (especially if they have a baseline of being able to identify their own feelings pretty easily) (which is a WILD concept)

That post that's like "stop writing characters who talk like they're trying to get a good grade in therapy" really blew the door wide open for me about how common it's become for a character's emotional intelligence to not be taken into consideration when writing conflict. I remember the first time I went to therapy I had such a hard time even identifying what I was feeling, let alone had the language to explain it to someone else. Of course there are plenty of people who've never been to therapy a day in their life who are in tune to their emotions. But even they would have some trouble expressing themselves sometimes. You have to take into account there are plenty of people who are uncomfortable expressing themselves and people who think they're not allowed to feel certain ways. It also makes for more interesting conflict to have characters with different levels of understanding.

My chronic pain disabilities (hip fuckery; migraines) do not stop me from working. It doesn't mean I should treat my disabilities with less respect than disabilities that DO make it impossible to work.

When my endo pain was at its worse, I did all the things I was supposed to do--according to HR--to protect my job. I filed ADA paperwork. I communicated when I used it. I had the doctor's note. Etc.

Two days before my hysterectomy, I got a call from HR. "Oh, we're not sure we'll have work for you after you recover."

Which, first of all, is fucking illegal to say to someone who has ADA paperwork in place with you.

And, second of all, you're a fucking liar. I was the ONLY tech writer in a company of 500 people. Don't bullshit me.

I should have filed a complaint and sued the fuck out of them, but all I wanted to do was be able to possibly get out of pain and not have to worry about my paycheck after that. So, I called someone else in the company who I knew would lose his shit if I told him I'd basically just been told I had no work to do.

Two days after surgery, I had an email from HR to my personal account. Which, technically, they ALSO should not have used to contact me while on medical leave that was--like my disability paperwork--100% lined up and signed off on.

But the HR person wanted me to know that "Oh, looks like there IS work for you! Lol! Didn't know!"

This is bullshit. She was very aware.

Years later, I'm at a much better company. My supervisor, who is nothing but supportive, recently floated that it might be good to have ADA paperwork in place for my migraines because they flare during stress, which is the time I'm needed at work THE MOST.

No shit: I went into hard shutdown for about two minutes after he said it. It wasn't a threat or a dismissal of my migraines. It was him going, "Oh, hey, so no one can ever try to use them against you to say you're bad with stress, you might do this."

But all I felt was how I was absolutely fucked over by a bad company because they said, "You need to follow these legal steps," and I did, and they still tried to get around them.

So, no, I'm not dealing with getting punished if I have more than 2k in my bank account. I'm not dealing with people touching me, or my assistive devices (I don't currently use any). I can park anywhere in a lot and walk to the store entrance. But I was disabled, and I AM disabled, and I have had people try to punish me for existing in a body that just fucking HURTS because it HURTS.

It's Disability Awareness Month. I am disabled. Less so than I was ten years ago, which is a fucking stroke of luck. But also my right hip has started to go now, and who knows what the next 10 years will bring.

It's Disability Awareness Month. If someone says, "I'm disabled, and I want to talk about my experience," please pay attention and listen and learn and understand there's all sorts of ways disabled people are fighting to be treated with basic human dignity and under the basic rule of law.

I made art for an AU my brother and I made (which is an offshoot of another AU my brother made.

Basically Bill dies a bit earlier (Stanford kills him in the Nightmare dimension sometime while he's stuck in the portal) and so while he's in Theraprism he still makes his Book and it ends up in Gravity Falls. And Mabel stumbles upon it! He communicates with her through the book and they become friends. And Dipper too. He's a little wary of Bill at first though.

Bill lets them in on what Stan is doing with the portal (he doesnt tell them why he's rebuilding the portal though) and he gets her to mess with it and basically change the coordinates to Theraprism.

AND THEN it works and he comes through!!

They do get Ford back actually. I can't remember how haha. I think Bill did it (somehow??) He wanted to gloat about how he won or something. But his powers are limited (because of dying) so he actually didn't win lol

Basically he can still do all sorts of stuff, but he can't do anything too big and he can't make anything permanent.

BUT ANYWAY Ford cautions Mabel because yeah that's friccin Bill Cipher.

And then she gets all saddy bc omg Bill's a Manipulator and a Liar and he WAS USING HER?? but. Bill has emotions and he did get attached to her (as well he did Ford BUT THATS NOT IMPORTANT)

But yeah. Bc his powers are limited and bc Mabel and Dipper are attached to him, Ford can't really do anything. And Bill hangs around as a fun weird third uncle.

Probably the rest of the story would be Bill trying to find a way to get his powers fully restored but he gains ✨️feelings✨️ along the way. And he and Ford would superrrrr slowlllyyy make up. And then he truly does become a fun weird third uncle.

Also the Axolotl probably comes because Bill friccin escaped Theraprism but he ends up leaving Bill there because he can see Bill has changed!

He's very sad when Mabel and Dipper leave. But he's got Ford and Stan!

you lost track of dr. zayne’s success the moment his office became crowded with more awards than family photos, his house came to be emptier and his headache frowns became more frequent. as his lover and wife, your first instinct was to bring the issue up on your next pillow talk and make him take a break from work. as his colleague, your worried glances over a surgery table could only do so much. 

“did he go another night without sleep?”, the question lingered in the air as your eyes met for the first time this morning. the outside banter of a crowded akso hospital was left behind the double doors of his office as you made your way to his table, white coat swinging in the air as you walked towards him.

“liar”, your first attempt at communication was surprisingly effective considering the man's ruined attention span lately, “i waited for you last night. did our house become a tourist attraction to you, dr. zayne?”.

“good morning to you too, my lovely wife”, his response was calm as usual, the tone of his voice focused and serene.

“we agreed on a maximum two-night shifts per week”, you made a c-turn at his office table and crossed your arms when he finally looked at you under his specs. 

“i’m sorry, my love, i’ll make it up to you on the weekend, i promise”.

standing by his side, he leaned back on his office chair and spun until he was facing you. the tiredness under his green eyes is evident to you. even his hair was a little more unkempt than usual, the black strands pushed all the way back so his vision was cleared. absentmindedly, you trace his forehead with your hands trying to tame the few strands that had fallen over his eyes.

your husband was hot as fuck.

“what is it this time?”, you don’t waste more time reminiscing about his beauty even after a deadly night shift, as dr. greyson told you as soon as you got here this morning, and turned to his computer so you could examine the documents he was looking at before you interrupted him. 

the props of also being a brilliant doctor were that you could win your husband over logical arguments now and then, so you didn’t waste time and started scrolling through the pages with a precise eye and a dangerous closeness to a touch-deprived zayne beside you.

his hands started roaming over your hips as soon as you leaned over his table to study the special case he was eyeing, the grip on your waist proving to you that even the stoic dr. zayne also missed his wife's touch after a long day of work. or night - you should say?

“primary cardiac tumor?”, you mumble over his desk, attention divided between the computer screen and zayne’s caress on your skin.

“yes, on the posterior side of the left atrium, you can see it on the fifth slide”, his grip on your hips tightens as you reach for the computer mouse and lean a bit more over him, trying to locate the fifth slide he was talking about.

before that, said doctor demands your attention, “you smell good, princess”, his husky tone reaches your ears and you let out a smile as you feel his face getting closer to your covered arm, gaze still locked on the screen before you. 

“that’s what happens when you go home to take a shower, you know”, you couldn’t help but retort, ignoring his curious nose sniffing your shoulder away and his left hand shamelessly sizing your bum behind you. “evol surgery on an eighty-three-year-old patient?”, your frown didn’t go unnoticed by the surgeon and he finally detaches himself from you to explain more clearly - hand still on your ass, mind you.

“we talked to the family and that’s what they agreed upon”, he says - tone raspier than before, “i’m just revising the case for greyson, he said he wanted me to take a look first”.

of course he did, zayne is the epitome of reliability in and outside of work. you just wished he ate his meals on time and listened to you now and then.

“if this is the reason you left your wife alone in your house overnight, i’ll seriously murder that rat”, you went back to crossing your arms and standing beside his office chair, the visible pout on your lips moving the heartstrings on your husband’s chest.

zayne lets out a chuckle.

“you shouldn’t threaten your colleagues like this, princess, people may think i married an assassin”, his little smirk and firm grip on your waist were a deadly combination - you thought to yourself-, his timbre so light and sincere you couldn’t help but think that he must have been tired as hell.

“that brat spends more time with you than with me. are you two a thing now?” you ignore his advances and pretend to reject his touch. 

“an emergency popped up the second i started the car. yvonne went running to me before i got out”, his voice turned more serious and you took a step further, decreasing the distance between your bodies, “thirty-six, coronary artery bypass graft, had to perform resuscitation mid-surgery because his blood pressure dropped randomly”.

you nod, a pout still visible on your face. when you feel both his arms circulating around you and bringing you closer, you can already smell the fragrance of forgiveness in the air. 

“are you tired, baby?”, you couldn’t help but worry, glad that you were the only person on this planet that could detect zayne’s lies. he could be stubborn as a toddler sometimes.

your hands leave your sides and you tilt his chin up so you could see his eyes.

you take his glasses off and put them on the table. zayne’s eyes instantly closed from exhaustion. you run your fingers through his eyebrows and try to relax his facial muscles, kissing his forehead and smiling.

“i can do another one if they need me”, he says, tone whispering for only your ears to catch. you let out a little smile over his response, knowing he was telling the truth. 

“couch nap?”, you happily offer him the idea, looking over the big couch he had in his office next to the city view. you let out a squeak as soon as he stood up and took you with him, carrying you towards the couch like you weighed nothing.

“fucking finally”, was the only answer you got before zayne was dropping you on the couch and taking off both of your coats, leaving you free to cuddle in the not-so-big space. you also giggled when he went to his office door and saw him locking the room, smiling big as he returned to you.

the perks of being the chief cardiac surgeon at the hospital was that you got a big office where your pretty wife could come and distract both of your stressed forms between breaks. zayne was grateful you shared the same passion of saving lives as him.

“are you free tonight?”, zayne’s mouth was so close to your ear you couldn’t help but freeze when he leaned over you.

“do you have plans for me? are you inviting me out of pity, doctor?”.

“just asking my wife if she will be at home tonight, since i’m not the only one who tends to spend nights working at the hospital”. he pressed his body closer to your back.

“well, i should be done by 7, the question is if you are going to listen to me for once and take a day off?”, we interlace our fingers over my chest and i hear a chuckle behind me.

“as they say, happy wife, happy life, i’m not arguing on this anymore, princess”.

“yeah, you better”.
