Actually, it's not even cishets, it's just right wing bigots.

The first article comes from the daily mail (a well known and hate filled shit rag masquerading as a tabloid newspaper) which has a record of printing distorted half truths and outright lies in order to whip up hatred of immigrants, the EU, LGBTQIA+ people, people with too much melanin and anyone else they disagree with. To the point where a) it's fairly common knowledge that the founder and long-term editor (and the current owner's father, btw) was a committed fascist and proud nazi sympathiser. And b) it's often mockingly referred to as the Daily Heil.

The second is from GB news, which is perhaps best described as a slightly less insane British version of Fox News (and was set up specifically to combat the 'widespread wokery' in the media).

The 3rd is from the BBC, which whilst nominally independent, in the last decade or so has been increasingly subjected to political interference by the previous tory government for being too left wing and or reporting on their various shortcomings.

One of my recent posts resonated with a lot of people so I just want to say this is a safe space for all genders and sexualities: Especially transmascs, bisexuals and pansexuals, aros and aces, those who use "contradictory" labels or neopronouns, queer and trans people of color, queer people who are disabled, who aren't skinny, or don't fit into their gender/sexuality's stereotypes; and anyone else who's ever felt excluded, underrepresented, or rejected from online queer spaces. I'm sorry to anyone who's ever felt hostility from their own community; you deserve love, kindness, and acceptance.

People will say they support queer people yet perpetuate the idea of the gender binary.

People will say they support queer people yet perpetuate the idea of the sex binary.

People will say they support queer people yet perpetuate the idea that everyone feels some sort of attraction.

People will say they support queer people yet perpetuate the idea that you have to be a certain age to be trans.

You can’t do shit like this and still support queer people. You either support all of us, or you support none of us.

Although we have a lot of pride and love being intersex, we also know that being intersex can be difficult, and that things like medical bills, dealing with harassment at work, disability, and many other things can make it difficult for us to have the resources we need to survive.
