For @aggressivelyarospec's Aggressively Arospectacular 2024, I thought I could combine my zigzag pride patch patterns and finishing techniques from my aro card tutorial to make a bookmark.
(Unfortunately, when I look at the finished bookmark, I can't not see a dollhouse-scale hall runner!)
If you're after a quick rundown on materials and process, I've a post available on aroworlds.com.

I was very excited to discover miniature arrow charms in the scrapbooking section at my local craft store and a pair of pineapple-print underpants in my unworn spare-clothes stash*. With the addition of a colour-block T-shirt in allo-aro colours, my dolls are being extra aromantic this Pride Month.
(* Autism sensory stuff means the challenge of finding clothes with the right kind of not-hurting-me seams and fabrics, so when garments I tolerate go on clearance, I collect a few spares. I figure it's worth sacrificing one to make a pineapple doll top, though!)

I'm going to start photographing all the Jewelry and crafts I make. (№3)
I really need to get better at taking photos of my crafts including jewelry (I usually forget because I'm often making a few dozen or so pieces at a time then not making any for a week or 2)

Hi! My name is Orion, and I'm the owner and creator behind Magic Rabbit Fiber Arts. I'm a POC enby transmasc living in New England and I just really love making fun things out of yarn. I've made Pride scarves, Sailor Moon and Magical House fingerless gloves.

So, exactly one year ago I did this:
Tumblr media
It's a fully hand woven pride flag, and this time I went further than ever with all the work. I studied how to weave, I built the weaving loom, and only then wove the flag, which took about two full weeks. It's far from perfect, but I am so proud (pun fully intended) of how it turned out.
It's made with and of love (the rest is 100% cotton 😌); not meant for me, but ended up with me in the end
It will always be a dear memory, with all that it entails
Tumblr media
And now, one year from there, I am so so happy ❤️
Wips:
Here for the wips of the weaving loom
Here for the part 1 of the wips of the pride flag
Here for the part 2 of the wips of the pride flag

This Aro Week, I've made cross-stitched card designs perfect for gifting to your favourite slightly-snarky aromantic.
The free tutorial includes patterns, card and fabric dimensions and a materials run-down as well as instructions on attaching an aida swatch to cardstock and other border techniques.

idk who needs to hear this but if you knit or crochet you do not need to stress about it all of the time. that defeats the purpose of having a hobby. yes sometimes i do projects that require learning new stitches and making several runs to the craft store and searching for a specific brand of yarn and counting stitches and recounting stitches. but i also have a blanket that i call my "idgaf blanket" and it's literally just a giant gloriously repetitive chain stitch blanket made of a conglomeration of whatever yarn i happen to have scraps of. my rules are no undoing for dropped stitches, no overthinking color patterns. for just this one project, i simply crochet it because i like the feeling of crocheting. sometimes i just need to work on my idgaf blanket and that's okay and when it's done i'm sure i'll appreciate it a lot more simply because it never gave me anxiety

[image description: A beaded star pendant sitting on a blue microfibre blanket, attached to a white necklace cord by a gold-coloured jump ring. The star is threaded with translucent and pearly seed beads in the colours of the allo-aro pride flag: green, light green, white, yellow and gold.]
Here’s a close-up of the final allo-aro star pendant I made using my pride star bead tutorial!

I'm going to start photographing all the Jewelry and crafts I make. (№2)
I make more simple jewelry for vending but as soon as I get the disaster area that is my jewelry-sewing craft area/Front room cleaned up* I plan to get back to more detailed interesting jewelry.
For now here are some of my older, simpler pieces
