If they were actual professional boxers/MMA fighters:

If they were actual professional boxers, I think they would do a lot of doubles fights together and would be a pretty big force to be reckoned with. Barry would probably be their marketing agent in this case and they would have a lot more counted for wins.

Their first meeting would be different, with them probably meeting during a match when they were younger and becoming friends from that (it would also mean that Stan and Barry got to meet Johnny's mum so there's that).

But the conflict in Sing 1 would be the most different. Instead of training him to be a robber, Marcus is trying to get Johnny to become a boxer. He doesn't skip out on a heist, instead he misses a match, pretty much ruining his record which is what annoys Marcus. The same fight would occur, but both his dad and uncles would be at the performance to support him and apologize.

And instead of Marcus and the other's doing community service in Sing 2, it would have been them getting ready for a match when Johnny calls and them choosing to go help anyways, no questions asked.

Au where Harry is constantly struggling bc of Tom's good looks and gestures of affection. He totally has a crush but really REALLY doesn't know how to deal with it.

He's seen either frowning or looking constipated whenever he's by Tom's side and people naturally mistake it as distate/hatred (which technically wouldn't have been wrong back in his old timeline).

In reality, Harry is so down bad for his past nemesis that he's always close to hyperventilating at the proximity between them. With Tom manoeuvring situations behind the scenes so that they can constantly be near each other/are partners in every class they're in, Harry has no chance to relax his heart at all and thus, suffers. It just so happens that his face, misleadingly, reflects that pain. Lmao.

I'm standing by this one. Nuzzling. Like you said, one might be a zombie head, and all three are meshed together trying to make things work and what requires little effort with high reward? Nuzzling. You might have Ghost Cerberus stroll behind you, multiple arms setting either on the counter in front of you, one grasping onto your own hand, another wrapping around you. And maybe one head sets against the back of your own. Maybe the left and right nudge against your shoulders. They each get to be close, to catch your scent, they don't have to thin to express, actions work right now and it's easy for all of him to gravitate to you.

GOD the supreme cuddling that could be had.

You'll probably have to help him with learning how to manage so many arms at once. Direct a hand to grab yours individually each, then maybe ask for two specific hands to hold each of yours, etc etc.

It's time, and progress, and he might get grumpy or frustrated and possibly growl like some feral dog about it honestly, but it's progress. And eventually, he'll offer the most ensnaring, encompassing cuddling.

Nuzzling with the heads!! AAAHH how cute!! You gotta be careful with that zombie head though. He's well behaved for the most part, but sometimes he tries to take a bite out of you.

Oh, but teaching Ghost how to move in this new body. It's an uphill battle mostly, but some days are good days. Some days are not. And, unfortunately, today is a bad day. The kind that has him growling and grumbling, and usually ends with him disappearing for a few hours.

But if you're sweet to him, if you coo and coddle him, offering him extra kisses or time cuddling, he'll force himself to calm down until he perform whatever exercise you had him doing.

And you better believe he's not going to forget about that reward once you're done. He's earn those kisses, and you better give each head the same amount.

On top of that, let's say the hand that belongs to Soap isn't fused with Ghost's arm. (I mean just the hand! I honestly can't tell if it is or not, but for this scenario, we'll pretend it's not.) You could have Ghost wrap his arm around your waist, pulling you closer. And Soap's hand on the back of your head, tilting your head up so Ghost can kiss you.

In our current society (in North America and much of the western world) we can't completely avoid capitalism, but with some work and dedication we can reduce how much we have to participate in it.

Building community is hard, and it often requires a lot of up front investment in time and energy before you start seeing returns on that investment. I know not everyone is in a place where they can make those expenditures without getting anything back right away which is why it's even more important for those of us who can to start building sooner rather than later.

When you have a healthy, thriving community of people you can start withdrawing yourself more and more from reliance on a broken capitalist system. Yes there's mutual aid within a community but what's even more exciting to me is the option of participating in a barter/trade economy because it's so often more empowering for disabled folks and other marginalized groups that struggle in a capitalist economy.

And even more importantly than that, it's how we can survive a political landscape that is openly hostile to us. It's as impossible to avoid the fallout of the current political situation as it is to avoid participating in a capitalist economy, but being part of a strong and healthy community can at least help mitigate some of the harmful effects.

Neighbours sharing produce from their gardens can lessen the chances of food-borne illness as a result of lax food safety regulations.

Creating, maintaining, and sharing resources that help marginalized groups can help protect vulnerable people in your area when the larger resources are being dismantled or when people acting in bad faith are pretending to be a helpful organization.

Communities have more leverage (and resources) when it comes time to put pressure on local government to make progressive changes

As communities grow, empathy and compassion for the people in the community also spreads and that can help create allies against the bigotry and prejudice some of the community members face. When you're in community together with someone it's harder to depersonalize them. They aren't [insert oppressed group] member, they're the person who walks your dog and brings you beets in exchange for piano lessons, or the person who loaned you a spare tire so you could go to work and when you got home that evening they'd fixed your flat tire for free because they had the time and some spare material laying around from a repair they did on their own tire.

It's going to be really easy to give in to despair in the coming months and I'm not going to lie and say you can survive it. Some folks won't. I'm not going to lie and promise if you can make it through that things will get easier, they might not!

But if you can hang on I can promise you there's a chance things will get better, and I can promise you there's a whole heck of a lot of us out there trying to make sure it does get better. I can promise you that building community will help you survive when things start getting harder, and I can promise you that community can be a beacon of light in dark times, a bastion of hope in a desert of despair.

I know you're tired and I'll understand if you can't keep fighting, but I really hope you've got enough resilience left to hang on long enough to find a community to be part of.

i honestly haven't read too-too many but here's an incomplete list:

food is life, and life hates juliet. this was the first one i read and i found it through @/thespiritssaidso answering my ask about spoiler free psych fics and it's so cute aksjsjdbs. i wrote a short little continuation here but it's a spoiler free shules sickfic/whump and it's pretty short and i've read it like 3 times bc it makes my feet kick. @/thespiritssaidso (Isolation68 on ao3) writes a bunch of really cute shassie stuff too but i like juliet far too much for this not to be my favorite of their work.

hidden emotions. it's less than 1k but just really good. it's pov second person (following jules) and has spoilers for the season 3 finale, but i love it a lot. i found it from someone answering my spoiler free psych post telling me to sort by date updated on ao3- which like- i wish i could find that notification and give you a hug bc that changed my life lol. i really really loved reading like a detached 2nd person fic, it's so well written because it doesn't make you feel like juliet but it gives so much information on her thoughts and feelings which was just a really cool experience and inspired me to write this (which i swear i will update soon i have like half of the next chapter on my notes app), which slight spoilers for season 4 but it's cannon divergence. anyway i love the concept and i love the execution and i love juliet o'hara

the door before me is open just enough. it's just really cute. another shules one shot i found the same way and it really stands up to re-reading

love game. fluff and smut, shules one shot i found the same way. there are a couple sexy shules fics that i love but for some reason this is the only one i have bookmarked. it's so good and the author does a really good job of keeping the characters believable throughout. theres some shawn and gus friendship stuff and karen vick, i just like it a lot

there are a lot more but these were most if the ones i bookmarked, if you're interested there are like 60 fics when you search psych >> shules >> english >> updated between 2006-2011, they're all pretty short (6k max i think) and probably 50 of them i liked so definitely check that out lol
