Dpxdc Au - Tim and Danny are Twins, have been through all the introductions and after a few years decide to have The Audacity.
At some point it hits the two of them, that they really do act alike sometimes. Like, mannerisms and small detail micro expressions, the whole nine, so Danny and Tim decide to take advantage of this.
Parent trap style swapping but all within the same household, they cut their hair and swap clothes, and get in a few practice runs around the halls of Wayne Manor. No one in the family catches them through at least 3 family dinners, so they go for the larger gambit.
Tim wants to go to high school for a bit and get back into skate boarding with low stakes- Thats what he tells Danny at least, he really wants to spend the time dismantling the GIW from the epicenter in Amity Park. It works out that Tim accomplishes this in record time (explosives didn’t require ethics in his opinion) and does actually get to enjoy his hobbies again for a bit.
Danny wants to tell off the WE board members and get some proper Red Robin training so he’s not so dependent on his powers when facing human enemies (they were squishier than ghosts, restraint was key)- That’s what he tells Tim when the reality is he’s going to lead a hostile takeover of DalvCo. and well, yeah, actually get some training in.
No one catches on except for Kon.
After they’ve swapped back and their missions are debriefed, Tim asks him why he never fell for it? Simply put: “Uh, dude. Your twin doesn’t have a heartbeat half the time, it was pretty easy to tell.”

Time to be fucking sad. Vash talks to God exactly once in Trimax (as of the end of vol 10 at least). Like he goes into church once, laments about how he thinks he is unforgivable, but that's musing to himself. He's not actually talking to God or praying.
No, Vash talks to God exactly once, to ask for the only thing he ever requests. The only thing he wants, and the possibly the only thing he allows himself to want. And of course by the time he allows it, it's entirely too late.
Vash talks to God to ask for exactly one thing. To save Wolfwood, to let him live. So they can share their tomorrows. And by the time Vash lets himself ask for this one thing, he already knows how futile it is. Sitting next to his best friend, probably the only person who can come close to understanding him, he talks to God for the first time. And God does not answer.

u ever think about how andrew has never been alone? going from group homes, to foster families, to juvie. to tilda and aaron, to nicky and aaron, to palmetto with kevin and neil. his deal with kevin means he, too, essentially has the raven partner system introduced to him up until kevin enrolls in the university and starts classes. and then neil too - jean says in tsc they’re never out of each others orbits for long. he’s never been alone, even when he has been; there’s always been people there talking to each other, filling the air, to the point where he has to break on to the roof for a few minutes piece and quiet. and even then, when neil joins palmetto, he starts joining andrew on the roof (even if they sit in silence he’s still not alone). makes me wonder how he’d react to graduating and having a place to himself for the first time. would it be a relief or would the silence set him on edge?

Every time there's a storm, Buck's body enters a very tense state. He's not afraid of thunder, he knows what happened to him needed very specific circumstances, he knows he's safe in his kitchen cutting onions, carrots and celery while Tommy is reading the news on his phone, sitting at the kitchen island. But his body remembers, and today's storm is a nasty one.
When lightning strikes first, it's pretty far from his place but it startles him.
"Shit."
His right hand is shaking so he puts the knife down for a minute. Tommy lifts his eyes from his phone.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, yeah. Just... it's okay. I'm... I'm fine."
Buck collects himself, picks the knife up and continues chopping. The soffritto is slowly cooking when another flash lights up the loft. This one is closer and they can hear the air tearing. This time it's Buck's legs that give up, shaking, unable to carry his weight anymore. He can feel it and crouches immediately, his hands gripping the edge of the kitchen counter. He knows he needs to calm down, to make his body understand there's no danger.
Tommy immediately comes close to him, a warm hand on Buck's back, and turns off the stove.
"I'm- I'm fine, Tommy. I just... I just need to breathe."
"I know. But let me stay here, okay?"
Tommy sits down on the floor just next to Buck's folded body, his back against the kitchen cabinet. Their eyes meet, they share a small smile. Buck knows he's safe here, in his kitchen. He also knows he's safe with Tommy, his steady support keeps him grounded. His legs are still shaking and it's creeping up to his shoulders. Outside, the sky is raging with flashing lights and growling sounds.
"Did I tell you about my insect phase when I was a kid?" asks Tommy while staring in front of him. In the corner of his eye, he can see Buck slowly shaking his head.
"I was 5 and I was on a mission. I spent my days hunting for insects. I wanted to collect them all, I was fascinated. So many of them, everywhere! My mom... she hated them, but me? I wanted to meet them all and, I don't know, make new friends?" he scoffs. "I was lonely and it was just a way for me to fill my life with something that was only for me, maybe. My favorite ones were the dragonfly, I was already fascinated by flying, but also the water striders. I mean, walking on the water? Incredible."
They look at each other and burst out laughing.
"Yeah, well, I was an insect nerd, I guess."
Feeling less shaky in spite of the sky still growling, Bucks shifts his weight on his legs and sits down next to Tommy on the ground with a long sigh. He lets his head rest on the cabinet's door behind him, his legs stretched out in front of him, his hands flat on the floor.
Tommy gently hooks his index around Buck's pinkie like a lifeline.
"Do you want me to finish cooking while you go lie down?"
Buck shakes his head and sighs again.
"No, give me a minute and I'll be fine. I promised you lasagna. I worked hard to nail this version, you will have it for dinner."
"Okay, okay, Pasta Queen!"
Their laughter drowns out the sound of the storm now receding.

yes i'm rooting for m*leven breakup because byler is neat but mostly? i'm rooting for m*leven breakup for the sake of el and mike.
to me, their romance was always a puppy love born out of a combination of social pressures, naïve curiosity, and a lack of true understanding regarding intimacy and romantic love and what it really is. it was real in that they do truly, deeply care about each other and they are close friends, maybe even shared an attraction, but a maturing romance is so much more than that. they've grown up and out of being boyfriend/girlfriend, and that's okay! i think television/film needs to show more often that most of us don't have definite "soulmates" or first childhood loves that we spend our whole lives with. it doesn't mean these relationships meant nothing and didn't impact us, it just means they've run their course and that something else is in the cards, and this is part of life!
i've always felt el was at her best and most confident self when broken up with mike, discovering who she was and what she liked alongside another girl her age instead of just relying on mike for mentorship on how to live in the real world. she deserves more of an opportunity to find herself, her autonomy, and her independence, and to love who she is, and she's made it clear she's felt insecure in the relationship with mike because she isn't being loved and understood the way she wants, needs, and deserves from someone who is her partner.
also, it's okay if mike doesn't love her in "the way he should". he is not obligated to love her romantically and stay in a relationship with her just because she's a girl, because she "needed someone", or because he cares about her a lot. he shouldn't be pressured into a romance if it's not truly coming from his heart. he deserves freedom to find out and honour who he is, too, instead of just staying in his non-functional first relationship — one he got into as a child, essentially — and defining himself that way because it's what's expected when a boy and a girl are close. he loves her in some way, yes, but it's okay if he doesn't feel comfortable or secure being her boyfriend anymore, for whatever reason that is. he's felt insecure too, and that's valid and it matters.
they are their own people and are steadily growing and changing every day. they need time to figure out who those people are, and it's become clear (at least in my opinion) that those people aren't meant to be a couple at this stage.
they deserve freedom. they deserve to grow up and be authentic to themselves and not feel like they need to lie for the sake of a relationship. they deserve to move on from this version of their relationship that isn't making them happy and rekindle the best part of their bond: their strong, beautiful friendship. they don't have to be a couple if it doesn't make them stronger and better and happier people.
i think it would be healthy and wonderful for a show, especially one consumed frequently by young adults, to show a relationship starting, progressing, and ending on good terms in this way. sometimes things don't work out, and that is okay.

It's so funny to me that the fandom has come to see Hirano as a Sasamiya promoter of sorts because while he is, it took him some time to get accustomed to the idea of them together. And while he was never a hater Sasaki's actions towards Miyano certainly used to get on his nerves.
At first he was so worried and probably even felt a little guilty because (as mentioned in the following screenshot) because the only reason why Sasaki knows which class Miya is in, is thanks to him.
But like, that's not the face of a friend that's happy to play cupid and get their two acquaintances together. Not at all, that's the face of someone who puts his sempai-kouhai relationship with Miyano over his (pseudo) friendship with Sasaki.
Hirano from the first chapters would have jailed Sasaki if he were allowed to. (And he has his reasons, Sasaki has been something since the first chapters)
Anyway, the progression of events is really interesting.
He started, quite literally, shielding Miyano from Sasaki.
Then, he came to accept their relationship.
And at the end he really was rooting for them, to the point he ended up outright lying just so Miyano could meet Sasaki and they could talk it out and confess.

If I was a teen in Hatchet field, Santa Claus is Going to High school would be the peak of comedy to me, I would be obsessed with it.
Is this not Max Jagerman and the crazy Christian girl we all know he’s in love with???
They even dress Kris and Max the same💀
Letterman with matching baseball tee underneath
Max jagerman would beat me up because I wouldn’t stop making jokes that he’s Santa Clause
