LMAO wow, yeah. If I cosplayed him I wouldn't need contacts, that's funny. A decent amount of characters have blue eyes but it's usually a darker blue and mine's like a light/greyish blue, so it's still relatively uncommon when a character has eyes almost the same color as mine.

I think my eye color is probably closest to A17 here but I don't think it's anywhere near that saturated, it's a lot closer to a grey. But also I'm basically always squinting because everything is bright as shit all of the time rofl so who knows

it is a good feeling to be finding a space in the online community again after coming up against bullshit. like, I do still feel scrutinised here in the wod scene but... I know there are others out there who actually like my work for me and also how it looks, rather than whatever other shit.

Have I ranted to you lot about the person who was looking for donations of "cotton" (fabric)?

I'm like sure, I have lots of cotton fabric. What kind are you looking for? I have jersey, I have quilting cotton, etc.

Turns out that she didn't actually know much about fabric (good for her for taking on sewing projects like this anyhow), and as far as I can tell meant quilting cotton specifically. To quote: "I'm honestly not sure what you mean about woven - cotton fabrics are woven, I thought..."

And like, I get it. It's hard to learn that sort of thing. I've read multiple guides on different fabric types and still can't recognise most of them. And the fact that I'm embarrassed that I can't recognise what counts as a shirting-weight fabric, or that a fabric is chambray should help me have compassion for someone who didn't have enough, frankly rather esoteric, knowledge of fabric types to know what they didn't know.

But cotton. Have you never read the tag on a t-shirt and seen what percentage cotton it is? Of all the fibre/weave/fabric type mix ups, cotton?

Hello everyone! I’m pow and this is me thanking everyone for enjoying my work!!

I haven’t drawn selfishly in YEARS.

I can’t remember the last time I was this happy with my own art. It’s all selfish. All self-indulgent. I never expected so many people to show up and love my drawings. It genuinely is a shock to me, a bit overwhelming and ngl I have all my social media muted because I cannot handle knowing people have their eyes on me and my art. BUT despite me doing that for my own mental sanity. I very much value and appreciate the support that I get from people who are cheering for me to continue on being selfish and happy while drawing silly hedgehogs… so. Thank you again for supporting me 🖤
