The really crazy part is that apparently a lot of people believed him. Can you believe that? What on earth could’ve given them that impression?

Cordy: You’re kidding, right? It wasn’t a rumor so much as a fact that you and Faith were hooking up, what with the way the two of you were constantly marking your territory like two dogs in heat. The real juicy gossip was the betting pool over whether you were cheating on Scott with Faith or cheating on Faith with Scott. I didn’t take part because my money was on Scott using you as a beard but nobody believed me

Anya: After the break up the consensus was that you cheated on Scott with Faith. I lost a lot of money on that bet

Dawn: To me. I got my ears pierced with that money. Mom was pissed

Anya: That was insider trading. I didn’t know it back then but I know it now and I want my money back

Dawn: If you really think about it that didn’t actually happen though. The whole false memory thing, remember? Cordelia: Wait, what false memory thing?

Dawn: Don’t worry about it. Besides, I don’t have any money

Anya: Then Buffy will have to pay me back

Buffy: Nobody’s paying anybody back. Willow, did you know about this?

Willow: What?! That’d be crazy! How could I possibly have known about that? And it’d be total betrayal of your trust. But if, hypothetically, someone, I’m not saying who but someone, made a joke about you and Faith dating in a public place without knowing that a group of no-good gossip mongers were lurking nearby, it wouldn’t be their fault. okay, so willow, purposefully killing a person, a shitty villain person, is fine and she is redeemable, she is sent to a nice picturesque british rehab with beautiful nature and somebody she knows which works for her comfort. all is fine, cause it was dark willow! but when faith killed a person accidentally when slaying vampires, she is a rotten and dangerous person and only buffy thinks she needs help and understanding. yep, cool!

so, again, this forgiveness and understanding thing works only when it was their evil alter ego, cause obviuosly they separate them and their normal selves would`ve never done that. definitely know who started this personality separating trend.

One thing I love is that Willow spends Season 3 with judging Faith for abusing her powers, for being a killer

Only to abuse magic in Season 6 and become a killer herself

Its the fact that she thought she was better, than Faith, above doing bad things, because she just wanted to help people

Not realizing that just because she thought she had good intentions it didnt make her actions less harmful to others (Erasing Taras memories, ripping Buffy Out of heaven)
