i'm glad i decided to try out a ketosis diet again (aka changing my metabolism to basically only use ketone bodies made from fatty acids for energy by reducing carb intake to max 20g/day) for a few weeks because it was a neat experiment but i'm also glad I decided to stop because now i get to enjoy life's greatest fucking simplest yet finest delicacy: mashed potatoes/sweet potatoes with melted butter and salt. i cannot understand how i could live without that. just. vegetables. keto has opened my eyes to new ways to cook foods and experiment with ingredients but i don't think i can live without carbs. i doubt that the majority of people could. also have you any idea how much good simple near-zero effort food there is out there like holy gosh darn in heaven. i don't have to spend hours cooking something to have a nice meal
#food mention#diets#actually anything carb with butter and salt. how can it be so good. call me a lazy goob but i once just microwaved corn and butter#added salt. and it was the most delicious fuckin thing ive ever eaten#i've done low-carb in the past and tried keto a few times and always it felt so great after the keto flu disappeared after a few days#but this time the keto flu did not go away. i felt so weak and awful but at the same time i had less brain fog. and never felt hungry.#but it was werid. i think it might have been because i've been kinda high carb for the last few years and the change was so strong & sudden#also electrolyte imbalances can happen on keto if you're not careful. it's complex.#anyway it got me to eat a bit healthier like (almost) completely avoiding processed foods and unnaturally high sugary stuff#which i just want to generally avoid for personal health reasons which is a whole can of worms but i just dont want to overindulge#sure i can eat an entire bag of candies or chips in an evening if i feel like it but I *feel* my body just being like “nooo” and sure enoug#the next morning i do feel a little bit extra like shit#and another thing: i think i benefit from abrupt diet changes now and then. it feels natural in a way. ye olde scavenger hunter genetics#ya know. our nomadic ancestors would probably have to do that a lot when things weren't year-round available#sometimes only meat for months on end in cold seasons/areas#sometimes basically only plants and nuts roots and seeds and stuff#it's actually remarkable how human metabolism can adapt so much depending on what's available to eat#sometimes fasting for days when food was just nowhere to be found.#i'm not saying “stress your metabolic system it's good for you'” (it probably isnt) just idk. mixing it up a bit at least works for me#btw disclaimer i HATE the whole thing about diet-pressuring and some people claiming that certain diets will solve everything#it doesn't solve all health problems magically. ”"”superfoods“”“ are not a 100% faultless scientifically proven thing.#shit like ''the paleo diet is the number one key to optimal health without medications!!'' no. shut.#on the other hand i do believe diets can help a bit like a nudge. it's just one factor out of many that affects how we feel#ANYWAY conclusion: eat what you want. do what feels right for you. find your own ways to make the food you eat help your health a bit#or don't! be yourself! love yourself!#the chosen method is gonna be different for everybody#but from now on im gonna try and eat as close to natural unprocessed foods as I can in this day and age. it feels right for me somehow.#i think *my* preferred method/diet whatever is to mainly eat natural unprocessed foods and to mix it up a bit now and then with change#for that sweet ''METABOLIC ADAPTATION'' perk that feels good for me#(why did this post become so long. nobody cares. anyway i don't care if nobody cares. i care. *I* care!!! wooopp)

hiiii Malu i love your blog! i was wondering if u knew any diets good for weight loss but also (and mainly) to feel better from within- i heard keto is good but im not so suree......
Not sure if keto is necessarily the best way to feel good, I'm not a big fan of really restrictive diets, and keto literally cuts out one entire food group.
I get a lot of questions on diets since I'm pretty slim, but I can assure you guys that it is mostly genetics, and I simply never had much of an appetite; I've been asked to film what I eat in a day and all that so if you guys want to see that you have to promise not to judge haha.
Regarding the feel-good part, I would suggest tackling allergies and such first; I personally am celiac, lactose intolerant, and allergic to all nuts, so cutting out those is essential for me to feel good (and stay alive, lmao); I also try to stay away from sugar because it makes my skin look awful. I'm a lazy eater, so normally, I just stick to scrambled eggs, salads, fruit, and way too much coffee! I'm also a big yoghurt fan, and when it's cold, I'm an oatmeal girly :)

TIPS
Carry yourself like you're skinny, even if you're not thus has helped me lose weight and the one day I didn't I gained weight. If you carry yourself like you're skinny you'll trick your brain and start losing weight faster for example
"Can you hand me-" wait but skinny girls would just get up and get it so follow with the "never mind I got it"
"Can you make me-" they'll put extra calories in it and you need the steps "never mind ill make it"
Eventually you won't ask anymore
Walk like your skinny too, this fatty lazy walking isn't burning calories walk like a model fast, and confident
This also tricks other people in thinking you're confident with your weight and body so you can keep losing and losing and no one will notice and if they do "oh I'm trying this new diet for tiktok" then post a video of your before and after results and pick up some random healthy diet but keep it consistent when someone asks what diet you did remember the name
"What diet did you do?"
"Oh I did the keto diet and a couple chloe ting workouts you should try it! It was really fun!"
Keep making up different diets you're "following" and when you get through them all stick with your favorite as the lie
For the Ana's that keep a notebook buy two of the same notebook in one you'll write down your actual ana foods and all your pro ana stuff and the other write down a normal food and an inspirational quote or something normalish
For my girlie that love a good bath (especially ones that that's your only escape from your family like me) limit it to one bath a day or week and for the rest showers only sitting/ lying down is not gonna burn calories but if you're the kind that takes multiple baths a week slowly take it down so nobody gets suspicious and that way you'll build a habit keep the number of baths a week you have in your journal (ana journal for previous tip) that way you'll know when you've taken a bath and when you've showered
Ana's in highschool if you can't drive walk if possible if you're like me and live somewhere where walking home isn't an option walk other times like to the end of your road and back for me I walk 2 streets over to the river then I walk down the river well on weekends since I have kids or walk to the store if there's one by your house they just built a dollar general by mine so if possible I will be walking there
I'm a hypocrite about this next one but so is everyone else don't weigh yourself every single day once a week is good just makes sure not to weigh before you use the bathroom, after you eat or after you shower it adds up instead find a pair of jeans that are a size or even two sizes to small and try them on every day until you can wear them I'm currently a size 12/14 and I do this with a size 6/8
To my Ana's in college (this one is me) if you live on campus take the opportunity and walk/jog probably don't run you don't wanna go to class sweaty and smelly but you do you or if you're college is like mine and all your classes are in the same building lie to your family about your class times and go to the park or the gym after class I prefer the park bc it's beautiful and there's usually nobody there (this goes for highschool Ana's that have a car too say you're going to a friend's house)
Strict families/make you eat at the table you already know the napkin rules but one thing a lot of people forget is to fake chew when you "take a bite" and then spit it in the napkin don't chew the food that adds calories I read somewhere you take in almost a third of the calories from chew and spit so don't chew the food purposefully get some on your face get a napkin wipe it off and spit the unchewed bite into the napkin now here's where it gets a little gross don't put the whole napkin in your pocket just the food (unless it's like rice or something that can fall easy) this way you can use the same napkin again. If you're forced to go out and all they have is the napkins they put the Silverware in this especially works for that and you'll get lucky If you park beside the bushes bc then you can feed the animals your pocket food make sure to walk in the back when doing this so no one sees always wear laces and make sure one is untied when leaving the restaurant and stop to tie it while you do that throw the food as fast as possible before anyone notices also everyone knows about the cut and push don't do this eith finger foods at a restaurant tear it don't cut it with a fork DONT FORGET KETCHUP IS YOUR BEST FRIEND don't get any mayo based condiments (ranch, honeymustard, bbq) only ketchup or steak seasoning (0-25cal per tbsp)
Workouts, either wake up before everyone or go to sleep way after everyone nothing happens over night so try and slowly change it so you're not exhausted do an hour workout for this point (I do a flexibility stretch followed by a chloe ting then a Pamela reif cardio) then you can weigh then shower and say "oh I just woke up" ALSO DO THE WORKOUT IN YOUR PAJAMAS that way if they ask why you're sweaty/stink tell them you get night sweats and try and wake up before everyone to shower bonus points for if you have a thick blanket
Start picking up extra chores again little by little so nobody suspects anything and they think you're just being helpful if they notice you haven't eaten tell them you got distracted bc you like cleaning that way the house is clean and you're losing and they think you have an amazing new Hobbie all though it turns you into the "clean freak" of the family just battle that with the "at least I'm not a slob"
I hope you stuck around this long bc I just had a great idea!!! Meal time you sit eith your family at the table you spit your food into the napkin, it's winter/fall or just straight up cold in your house you have on a big sweater/hoodie under that sweater you have a fanny pack this way your pockets don't get bulgy and the sweater hides the pack half way through the meal (occasionally) say you have to pee or something "I drank way to much water I'll be right back" or something along those lines empty the fanny in the toilet and flush
I've been doing these for 9 years and they've really helped me and the only one in my family that knows is my husband and that's only bc I told him in highschool (I've had this since I was 11)

Obi-wan bad habits
Headcanons 🐰❤️🐰❤️
Emotionally shutting down, he’s not meditating he’s checked out.
Death sticks/cigarettes. Obi-wan isn’t a smoker but after a horrible battle. He will light one and share it with Anakin. A traditional thing he used to do with Qui-gon-Jin
Excessive cleaning, not a speak of dust on anything. He’s stressed
Parenting Anakin. Anakin is a grown ass man (allegedly ) Obi-wan will slid back into the old relationship when distracted. He will laugh at himself and apologize to Anakin. To Anakin’s credit it takes it gracefully
Caffeine. While Stewjoni’s can not have caff. (Think horrible lactose, intolerant tummy issues) Obi-wan loves his tea. Anything highly caffeinated he’s in love.
Sweets. The Jedi diet is rather strict, think lazy keto. But every now and then, Obi-wan needs something with sugar and will eat a whole cake.
Datapads, as clean and orderly as he can be. Datapads gets left wherever. But Obi-wan makes a point to clean them up by bedtime
Bedding, a good sum of Obi-wan’s credits go to his amazing bed. Mattress, sheets, pillows, quilts and comforters. Even Padme would be jealous.
Obi-wan tends to fuss with Anakin’s appearance when they are about to go on a mission. Fixing his robes, cloak, rubbing a spot off of his mecha arm
Halonet romance novel messing boards…yeah he is a fan of a few series. Blame Satine for getting him into these trashy books. But it’s rather fun being swept up in these silly stories of grand romance.

No magic pill used here... just hard work, motivation, and consistency! 💪🏼
Trust me, it’s not always easy to stay consistent. Sometimes I have my good and bad days. Recently I have been focusing on a high protein diet but sometimes there are days where I’ll have a couple of fries that aren’t made of jicama or a burger that isn’t lettuce wrapped!
A weight loss journey never stops. I’ve been on my journey for over 15+ years.
There are plenty of ups and downs but it’s 💯 worth it!
If you fall off track or “cheat”, don’t get discouraged! It happens to everyone! You guys are not alone! I know the feeling more than you know.
Goals won’t be met overnight. My transformation came from discipline, focusing on nourishing my body, falling off and getting back on track, working out, being lazy, eating burgers/fries and clean keto.
Nobody has the perfect weight loss journey. Everyone’s journey is different! If I can do it, you can too. Focus on being healthy and weight loss will come👏

What popular food/ingredient(s) do you despise with your entire being? Mine is alliums (minus garlic, love that stuff) and nuts (in my defense I am mildly allergic)
Common? None, really. I didn't like Natto, but that's an acquired taste even in Japan where it's something of a staple. Also don't like Foie Gras, but again, that's Rich People Food and also uncommon.
What I DO despise with my whole being is people's attitudes toward food and ingredients.
Food is incredibly subjective, and that's not accounting for things like allergies, diabetes, sensory issues, eating disorders, and a bazillion other things that affect what one can or cannot eat. What we like to eat or can eat doesn't often come down to conscious choice; we either do or don't like something, can or can't afford it, or can or can't consume it. I will defend 'picky' eaters with my life, and people who like to say others are fat bc they're lazy and eat 'junk food' all the time are really exposing their complete lack of understanding things like the socioeconomic factors that prevent people from eating 'well' (Google 'Food Desert', and be apalled that places like this exist. In major population centers in the US). If you work two jobs just to keep the lights on and your family housed, and your partner also works, where are you gonna get the time and energy to cook three meals a day? Or even do meal prep? Throw kids into the mix and that puts cooking 'healthy' food even further out of reach. But people like to act as if spending four bucks on an 8oz box of chickpea rotini pasta because they're on the 'keto diet' makes them morally superior to everyone else, and healthier. In reality they're probably just a snob who's abusing a medical diet designed for diabetics to try and induce a metabolic state that is DANGEROUS to a non-diabetic, or they're significantly misguided, at best.
I could go on, God could I ever go on, but shit like THAT is what I despise with my whole being. You can hate alliums all you want, that's perfectly fine. I'll even support vegans and those paleo folks, because what they put in their bodies is their choice. But when they act like anyone else is a morally bankrupt degenerate, it makes me want to bite and kill.
