My focus for the next month needs to be working on my beliefs and focusing.
I am so close to the lightest I have ever been as an adult!
That is exciting and a little terrifying. It's the terror I need to work on. The suddenly becoming visible to people.
I realize I have used fatness as an invisibility cloak.
I am taking that cloak off. Intentionally and with purpose.
I deserve to live in a world where I am seen, religious background be damned.
Meal pics below from my keto-ish day. That light n fit yogurt does not really fit keto macros and I have so much of it. Arg.
The eggs is what I lovingly call truckers eggs. My favorite truck stop meal used to be the hashbrowns with all the fixings. Onion, mushrooms, ham, peppers & eggs. Back 13-14 years ago I developed a way to make it with all the flavor and none of the hashbrown.
Some meals from yesterday:

I have so many meals to share with you! I haven't been well lately...
My daughter (pictured) made this quesadilla with toasted Mission low carb wraps and spicy beef with peppers & onions and cheese. 🌯
She said it was fabulous! 😉👌
I decided to keep using Factor for last week and this week, then I'm going to try Trifecta next. It's just easier for me right now. 🤷‍♀️
Today I had my collagen coffee ☕️ then my protein bar 🍫 and my antioxidant blend + electrolyte drink. 🍹
For dinner I had chicken with mushrooms & broccoli. 🍗🥦🍄
How are things going with you? 😊
p.s. I'm going to take an easy little trip this week to get away for a couple of nights up on the mountain. 🙌 Yay!!
Stay tuned for pictures and updates - I'm hoping to be up for a short ride and a few (easy) scenic views while I'm there. 🥰

What are the benefits of a keto diet?
The ketogenic diet, sometimes known as the keto diet, is a popular low-carbohydrate, high-fat diet in recent years.
While individual results may vary, the following are some potential benefits of a keto diet:
Weight loss: The primary reason many people adopt a keto diet is for weight loss. By drastically reducing carbohydrate intake and increasing fat consumption, the body enters a state called ketosis. In ketosis, the body burns stored fat for fuel, which can lead to weight loss.
Appetite control: High-fat and protein-rich foods can help you feel fuller for longer periods, potentially reducing hunger and cravings. This can be beneficial for individuals looking to manage their calorie intake and control overeating.
Improved blood sugar control: Keto diets have shown potential in improving blood sugar control, especially for people with type 2 diabetes or insulin resistance. By limiting carbohydrates, the diet can help regulate blood sugar levels and reduce insulin spikes.
Increased energy and mental focus: When the body is in ketosis, it utilizes ketones as an alternative fuel source for the brain. Some individuals report increased mental clarity, focus, and sustained energy levels while following a keto diet.
Potential for improved heart health markers: While the long-term effects are still being studied, some research suggests that a keto diet may improve heart health markers such as blood pressure, triglyceride levels, and HDL (good) cholesterol levels.
Potential for reduced inflammation: Some studies suggest that a ketogenic diet may have anti-inflammatory effects. Chronic inflammation has been linked to various health conditions, including certain types of cancer, heart disease, and metabolic syndrome.
If you want to live Healthy you should follow good health habits..

It's crucial to understand that the keto diet isn't for everyone. It might be difficult to maintain long-term and may necessitate careful planning to ensure nutritional adequacy. Before making any major dietary changes, it is best to consult with a healthcare expert or a qualified dietician, especially if you have any underlying health disorders or concerns.

What If:
Lunathion and Prythian had a permanent portal between them. Or what if portals could be opened instantly on either side. What If the people of Prythian and Lunathion switched a few members daily to build relations and develop their separate homes. What kind of chaos would unfold?
(I want to write fluff and such around this concept. What do you think?)

This is what I had for dinner tonight, and last night too: blackened salmon, gouda cauliflower "grits" and broccoli. 🥦 😋
What did you eat today and how's your weekend going?
This is one of the Factor meals I love. They have a refer-a friend deal if you want to try it. You get up to $150 off your Factor order when you get referred by another customer.
Here's the link to activate that deal if you want to check it out:
https://www.factor75.com/plans?c=HS-ZGFBA6419&plans_ab=true&utm_campaign=clipboard&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=raf-share-hpt
For the cauliflower "grits" - shredded or grated cauliflower with Gouda cheese and maybe butter & salt and a little cream cheese - that's how I would make it! 😋

So someone who knows about this sort of thing, I could use some guidance. I bought some keto bread the other day, and noticed that it used allulose, which I've read suppresses the body's glycemic response. I also use a food tracker for calories and carbs (I don't actually do keto, but I stay under 100g). So since I've been eating this bread this week, I've noticed that my net carbs are way lower than they should be. Like, I'll have four slices of this bread and my net carbs will be 35 grams lower than my total (today my total is 82.7, it says my net is 47.7, but when I add everything it would be 80).
So, that being said, it's Lewis, and trying to research this on my own didn't turn anything up about that but I did find out some pretty horrifying things about Lewis, so now I'm thinking maybe I'll just figure out how to make my own damn bread using allulose (I also don't want to spend $5 on a loaf).
But at the same time...is that even how this whole thing works? Can I trust those numbers? I'd be stoked to be able to eat the same thing my family eats at dinner, but it feels like a risky play.

I don’t want to be a complete dick, but I’m beginning to wonder if my dear husband has come to the basic realization that “smaller stuff fits in bigger stuff”, like with the nesting mixing bowls we have, or like, the cake tins that fit together with the pie pans
Like do I need to get him stacking rings for infants so he can practice or???
God bless him for being on top of putting the dishes away pretty consistently now but every time I open the cabinets there are new organizational horrors for me to behold
(This is also how he packs, both in luggage for trips and in boxes for moving. Basically “IF I JUST FUCKIN JAM IT IN THERE HARD ENOUGH IT’LL FIT” and way too often I have to say no babe that’s how you BREAK SHIT (true story))

Being in Ed recovery is honestly so frustrating when I’m constantly bombarded by my illness being normalized
The very same behaviors I did and was called crazy for are praised when others do it. The same exact behaviors
