I did make it thru my reading assignment. Woo! Got my quiz and stuff done yesterday. This week they are more assignments so I plan to start today.
Start today and actually study. Get the reading done today and then review review review. Actually study, not just cram the reading and slam the quiz like a pre-concert shot.
My friend wants to make plans to go for a drink the day of the election. I said no. I will not make plans for that. "Oh, are you sure?" Yes mf. I am sure. "C'mon, we should go for a margarita." Dude, WTF. I have had 1 shot in the last almost 3 years. I will not be drinking. I will not be making plans to go out on a weekday. I will also stop talking to anyone who pushes booze on me, that is your problem, not mine. Is it forever? Fucking maybe! And who gives a shit if it is! Maybe it is just for the weight loss portion of my life, but fucking A- NOOOOOO. No no no.
I did go to the UC about my shoulder, and verified it is not broken, it is just a joint injury. Rest it and ibuprofen. I miss working out already.
But it does makes me want some autophagy. 👀
I remember how awesome that was.
It has been so long and I have a metric shitton of loose skin or so I perceive.
I am working today but don't want to be. I am currently on lunch and obviously procrastinating going back to work.
I want to be sitting in my recumbent bike, watching Castle. Reading books for pleasure.
I am at 120 oz water for the day so far.

Hey so I just fed my boy and he's been huffing a LOT since. I may be overreacting because I can't find anything on this online but he rarely huffs (he's only done it when I move him when he doesn't want to be even though it's necessary.) And he's huffing LOUD too; he's really quiet about it. I'm on the other side of my room and I can hear him. Is he okay ???
Adding on a few minutes after this was posted: he's opening his mouth too like he's hissing, but it's not that. I don't know what he's doing but this worries me more.

The positive side of waiting until you're literally starving to eat is that when you do finally have a real meal, you're reborn again. You feel like everything is right in the world. You can do anything. The pinnacle of health and well-being. You can not achieve this euphoria with regularly scheduled meals. The agony in between is just the price you must pay.

Random idea I had while trying to go to sleep that I feel like sharing
Okay so in this world, there’s magic, but it’s specifically stored in food, or more accurately, plants. And eating these plants gives a certain magical effect when eaten
And as a result, the animals of this world have certain magical properties based on their diets. This also can extend to humans and whatever other potential sapient species come to exist also
#this was based on me thinking about Pokémon berries#I imagine that magicians would specifically curate their diet based around whatever magic they want to learn#also potentially as you go higher up the food chain the magical potency becomes more diluted#like for example eating a grasshopper would give you more magic than eating a snake#going back to magicians they’re probably vegans solely because the plants are the most potent source#I just thought this sounded cool#from what I understand this isn’t the plot of Dungeon Meshi#anyways I’m gonna go to sleep now#I just had to get thoughts out#ori#original stuff#sto#story ideas#random stuff
