no one talks about how life feels like it’s ended after highschool I feel like a child ripped from its mothers womb ripped from everything warm and familiar suddenly everything changes and no i’m not talking about the major life changes that everyone talks about I mean u start to notice grey hairs on ur parents heads ur siblings are suddenly so much taller ur grandparents are suddenly so fragile and breakable the paint in ur childhood bedroom starts to peel the familiar places of ur childhood no longer exist u yearn for a warmth that no longer exists u have no idea where the fuck ur life is going all you know is it’s not going anywhere good and all that’s left now is more loss and u have no fucking idea how ur gonna cope with it all u just wanna quit while ur ahead

okay so i got a crush on this girl but i have a big feeling she's definitely straight and i have no chance at all 🥹🥹 first i saw her spotify playlist and one of her playlists has her name except its just a playlist she liked and something she didn't make for herself so i checked it out and saw it was from her friend who's a girl. its actually a song mostly full of romantic songs except those romantic songs aren't exactly the happy ones. and there are times she calls boys cute. plus shes 2 years older than me and is about to leave for college while im still in junior high 🥹. even my friends think shes straight and atp i have no hopes for myself lmfao

Your age and space in life (her leaving for college) is well within dating range if you both are okay with it and with distance if she is studying away from home.

Here is the thing about lesbians. We are not mind readers and in general we still attempt it and most than often fail. We read into every word, we take in the opinion of others, we look at past actions of her and on and on when in fact, the only woman with the answer is her.

My suggestion is to ask her out on a date. Worst case is she says "no" and leaves for college. You might have a friendship or maybe not but you didn't loose anything by asking. If she is straight but is interested in a friendship then you can make that decision and adjust your feelings.

BUT if she says "yes" then by all means taker her on a date and then you can have the discussion about her sexuality. Her answers can help you determine how you wish to move forward.

Bisexual women are definitely a viable option if you are okay with that dynamic. BUT calling boys "cute" is not a sure sign of her sexuality. Identifying some one as being nice looking does not equal sexual attraction and she might just be trying to fly under the radar as a lesbian and keeping any focus off of herself by dropping tiny hints just to keep anyone from realizing she likes girls.

something there’s a distinct lack of in batman fanfics, especially ‘brucie wayne’ centred ones is the networking he’d have to be doing on the daily to maintain that sorta reputation

like, we all know the man knows how to throw a gala but where are the brunches? the happy hour gossip session with his cover’s clique of the week? the golf club dinners he has to attend every third week of the month? what about visits to hospitals or schools or the soup kitchens for his philanthropy? come on now

you’re telling me he’s the most sought after celebrity in gotham city and beyond, an infamous playboy and supposed extroverted people person who can use long holidays that can last weeks at a time away in tropical islands supposedly partying it up as a plausible excuse to hide his injuries sometimes but when he’s in gotham he’s either at wayne enterprise meetings or tucked away at home alone? nah

i want to see bruce having to really utilise those meditation breathing skills he learned in the league while he’s having to sit upright in a chair with 4 broken ribs, a sprained wrist and a minor concussion in a painfully bright restaurant at 3pm on a wednesday having to listen to bethany-anne titter on about the latest gossip about her neighbours affair with the maid that’s basically an open secret by now like pls there’s so many different routes you can go with this depending on the genre,,, make bruce have to REALLY commit to that cover of his lmao

Now I'm nostalgic for the time we spent at my friend's house in college. He was from a city a little over an hour away. Old country club, and his parents were divorced. He and his brother had lived with their dad and the house was a total bachelor pad complete with an awesome backyard, pool, and outdoor kitchen/grill. Our friend group would pile into whoever's car when his dad gave the okay and we'd go on up to stay the weekend or when we had the time off.

We had so much fun at that house. His dad would bring us donuts in the mornings, we'd eat out by the pool, and would grill at night. Night swims and the whole vibe.

We'd go to the club pool where he lifeguarded over the summers and hang out with the off-duty lifeguards and other folks our age there who'd come home to work over the summer.

It all makes me think about what a difference someone opening their home to you can really make in your life. The fact that his dad did that for us and was always okay with it gave me some of the best memories I have from college. They later opened up their beach condo for us where we spent a week.

For someone who'd never had that, or who'd never lived in a home that was ever open to friends, it can be life-changing. If I ever have kids, I want my home to be that for them and their friends one day.

18 is such a weird age. I'm too old to be a teenager, but I'm too young to be in my twenties. Eighteen years is such a long time to be alive, yet I feel like I haven't done anything, seen anything. I feel tiny and miserable and I am an adult. I feel like I Can do anything, but everything seems so hard to achieve. How must I live a whole life when each of my steps are weighted by uncertainty and fear ? I'm learning to walk all over again.
