"The mistake of the theorists of the labour movement was as follows. They often described capitalist social relations in terms of a foundational fracturing: the separation of peasants from the land generated a propertyless proletariat. However, the class relation is not only established through a foundational fracturing; it also confirms that fracturing in every moment. Capitalism realises the fracturing of social existence as the “unity-in-separation” of market society, an interdependence of everyone on everyone else, which nevertheless reduces individuals to isolated atoms, facing off against one another in market competition. This is especially true for proletarians, whose very survival depends on competing with other proletarians, and who therefore face the most barriers to collective organisation (as we have argued elsewhere, it is not the eventual decline of working class identity, but rather its emergence despite these barriers, which needs to be explained)."
A history of separation

I want the Tories gone.
I want a socialist agenda in the uk
I don't want a labour government run by a lying backstabbing right wing prime minister.
This is actually more achievable in the UK than people realise. You see, we don't vote for a prime minister in the UK. We vote for an MP. Which means that in England if you want a labour government you vote for your local labour candidate.
So vote labour if they are best placed in your area to get rid of a Tory. And if they are not, vote for the candidate (independent - socialist agenda/ green/ lib dem if needs be) best placed to beat them.
But if you are in Holborn & st pancras constituency vote for another than sir Keir backstabber. Andrew feinstein is up for it, standing on a labour 2019 platform.
We can get rid of the Tories and not have a continuity Tory (sir kid starver) imposed on a workers party. He's only leader of the labour party because of Rupert Murdoch and the establishment's approval. He lies and contradicts betrays but still we don't see him held to account for it, much like he's already a Tory minister.
Come polling day let your fingers do the talking and tell these b*stards to f*ck off.

Sunday, Nov 12: Pan-Canadian Actions
Last weekend saw historic mobilizations for Palestinian Youth Movement's international day of action. Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in 30 cities to demand a ceasefire, to stop the siege on Gaza, and an end to Canadian complicity.
Now, we're building on that momentum. Labour for Palestine has endorsed the Sunday November 12th Canadian day of action as the next step in pressuring our government to stop selling arms to Israel and end its support for genocide.
Tumblr media
Over 200 organizations, unions, and faith groups have endorsed November 12th and are organizing demonstrations.
Find one near you, or organize your own: Click here for a list of all Canadian demonstrations.

Coal Miner's Book Available Again After Over 100 Years
I have been keeping rather quiet about a writing project that I have been involved with, as it isn’t my usual sort of thing. I have been rather reticent at promoting it as I haven’t been completely sure how to go about it. This all came about rather suddenly. My wife’s cousin was at a pub in Wigan and began discussing about her great- great-grandfather, who lived in the town. Samuel Woods grew up

AI can be proven guilty of an organized crime to defraud an amount of monies from a previous fraud.
B2B as well.
They pay themselves for an artificial vacancy to do an artificial cash-flow.
All agents with false documents do it world wide.
That`s a crime.
They don`t represent an authority.
Have a read about an economy.
A bank can provide a capital for an education, and an investigation.
I honestly do not think “AI will never be as good as human creativity” is a good argument at this point. Like yes, it is true right now, but they’re just going to keep trying to prove it wrong. To me the line is, “Modern AI is built off of PLAGIARISM, UNPAID and UNDERPAID labor.” AI is a labor rights issue, not just for the people who’s labor it would replace, but for the people whose labor was STOLEN for the AI to “create” anything.

‘War of attrition’: why union victories for US workers at Amazon have stalled
"So far, no Amazon union campaign has come close to replicating the Staten Island victory. ALU came up short in union elections in Albany, New York, at another warehouse in Staten Island, and pulled a union election petition shortly after filing in California, though the union is currently supporting a union campaign in Kentucky and at Amazon’s air hub outside Cincinnati, Ohio.
"The Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union came up short in the rerun of a union election in March 2022 at an Amazon warehouse in Bessemer, Alabama, after the NLRB ordered a new election due to Amazon’s misconduct during the first election. The second election results have yet to be finalized. Unfair labor practice charges are still being adjudicated and objections to the elections, which include 400 contested ballots that could sway the result, are yet to be decided.
"In the meantime, efforts to pass sweeping labor law reforms in Congress have stalled. The House passed the Joe Biden-backed pro-union Pro Act in 2021, but the bill did not reach a Senate vote. Reintroduced in the House and Senate this year, the act now faces a House under Republican control that is unlikely to vote in its favor."

TBH in the original Hellblazer it's not that all of John's friends died, lot of them did, for various reasons, (plus there's the Newcastle incident and all that personal trauma), but lot of the time the old friends John reconnects with have either abandoned their anarchist/leftist principles or revealed they never had any particularly solid politics and John is like 'wow this sucks we're all going to die' and then wanders around for a bit depressed until satan tries to kill him again
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Most of new 52/DC stuff with John just refuses to interact with the political elements this way. so it is what it is and can't even really answer the question why john is depressed

the part of labour - paris paloma that i rarely see talked about
apologies from my tongue, and never yours
busy lapping from your flowing cup and stabbing with your fork
i know you're a smart man, and weaponize
the false incompetence, its dominance under a disguise
if we had a daughter, i'd watch and could not save her
the emotional torture, from the head of your high table
she'd do what you taught her, she'd meet the same cruel fate
so now i've gotta run, so i can undo this mistake
at least i've gotta try

The timeline has split, im so heartbroken for my little sister who has to grow up in a post roe world, Sick that so many people didn't show up to vote. despite the years of horrific headlines, anti lgbtq policies, reproductive Healthcare gutted, they don't care.
Because they don't want a woman in charge.
So we elected a rapist, felon, p3do, who shat on his own followers and spewed racism about poc people. Now, we have a full republican senate, house, and congress.
they don't want another election, that's why this one was so important. we're in a dictatorship now. He told his voters, that they needed to vote one more time, and incited violence against his political opponents.
This will be a police state, contraception, ivf, and the education system dismantled.
I grew up in a baptist household, hearing Christian nationalism rhetoric, that no fault divorce and marital rape aren't legitimate, that women shouldn't vote, that the "liberal war" on the church made us, an all white congregation, the most oppressed group in America.
Cognitive Dissonance is REAL, and it's deep in all the little red counties that decided the swing states. People aren't effected by these policies, therefore they don't matter. It doesn't matter until it's
their daughter being sexually assaulted
their wife miscarrying and having to flee the state to receive Healthcare
their gas prices and grocery costs.
we couldve done it. I hate it here
get an IUD, it'll last the whole presidency.
