There photographs were taken on Staten Island in 1946 showing at 1938 Ford V8 that has been modified using the windshield and boat tail from a 1929 Auburn. They appeared on the Custom Car Chronicles site in 2016. The car's wheelbase has been extended to accommodate the boat tail. Edsel Ford commissioned at boat tail of his own in 1932.

My school’s Richmond newsies had the worst costumes, because as much as my school talked about the different cultures among the different boroughs, they sure as hell made Richmond look EXACTLY like Flushing. Y’know, the borough FURTHEST away from Queens is Richmond, or Staten Island
