Same character, different universe. Checked the wikis and Nimbus isn't confirmed to be a reference to Trevor, but... good lawd, the similarities are borderline painful!

Marcellus: Hmmm, who was King Trevor?

King Frederic, sighing: You probably hadn't heard of him but since childhood, we have been rivals in pranking and outdoing each other with Trevor always looking to humiliate me and prove Equis is the superior kingdom compared to Corona. Despite the constant humiliation by Trevor, I refused to participate in or enable his ongoing shenanigans. Aside from our prank wars with one another, our rivalry was further increased when we both fell in love with Arianna and competed against each other to win her heart until she chose and married me. Ever since Trevor has remained obsessed for years to the point where he has his face covered over me in a portrait of the royal couple but is forced to respect our marriage due to Inter-Kingdom law.

Marcellus: Oh...

King Frederic: Now you know who he was and still is.

How was Trevor involved in the story when Fred and Ari were young in your au? Like what did he do? Any small hint would be appreciated👀

Well, without spoiling much, he invited Arianna out on a trip without informing it was a one-way trip... Frederic was not happy.

Hook Foot was dancing well to go along with King Trevor's dance-off. Pascal even helped out in fanning off his sweat. Things were going well, until Hook Foot jumped and there a clanking sound, causing everyone to gasp. He looked down on his hook foot and saw that it was in bad shape now. King Trevor laughed at this mishap. "That's it for me. I can't do it. Not without my hook. Maybe he's just too good." Hook Foot spoke giving up, but Rapunzel came in to cheer him up. "Hook Foot I--"

"Rapunzel, let me talk to him." Hook Hand spoke to the princess that he should be the one to cheer him up. Something he should've done a long time ago. "Come on, Dazzle. I need you to dig down deep, and find them guts and show this chump what real talent looks like." He said to his brother. "But even if I wanted to, my hook..." Hook Foot spoke seeing that his hook was in bad shape. "Maybe this'll help."

Hook Hand then started to give his brother, his golden, diamond encrusted hook. "It's only for true artistes. Now get in there, and live your dream." He said to his brother who stepped out. "Couldn't have said it better myself." Rapunzel smiled and kissed Hook Hand on the cheek. Both the princess and Hook Hand began to play the guitar and the piano respectively as Hook Foot snapped his fingers to the beat, and the gold hook began to shine as Eugene, Lance, Maximus and Cassandra watched his moves, dazzling everyone.

I know you have your own preferences for your favorite TTS characters which is totally valid but despite all the craziness that happened bts of tts which of the characters do you think are the best written characters in the show?

Can I say Pascal and Maximus? XD

Honestly, with the exception of him allowing Rapunzel's opinions to influence his own so strongly (especially in season three), I don't have an issue with Eugene's characterization, overall. I've never had a problem with him being comic relief - he's comic relief in the movie, after all, while still having his serious moments - and his sense of humor and dry wit basically mirror my own. It's his story arc I have a problem with, not how he's written.

Lance gets similar feedback. Other than not really having much in the way of an arc or growth, I love how he's written. I love how he's unashamed to be himself, and how he just goes for anything he wants.

Varian isn't badly written, at all. His motivations to villainy drive me crazy, but in a, "I want him to see the error of his ways and recover," kind of way. There's a difference between being mad a a character and being mad at the content creator for what they made a character do, and with Varian, I was always mad at him (when I was mad at him, at all). That's good writing.

Kiera and Catalina as a duo are written so well. They're very convincing little kids who have a tough life and learn to soften up, lighten up a bit, and trust people, while still maintaining their personalities. And hell, Catalina grows, in that regard!

I genuinely love Calliope. I love how she's an obnoxious know-it-all, and she's allowed to be that way, without being an antagonist. It's not often you get women characters who are so annoying, but still good guys!

Lady Caine was well-written, when she was present. She deserved way more screen time.

King Trevor. Need I say more? He's just the sort of bombastic villain I've been missing.
