favorite thing about them

he cares so much. like he is so so lovely he cares so deeply about all of his friends even when they sometimes don't deserve it (looking at you, kaz) and even when he doesn't care for himself. i think it's an under looked aspect of his character honestly.

least favorite thing about them

his self destructive tendancies, like that quote at the start of chapter 11 or 12 ish where it goes "jesper was always happier when people were shooting at him. if he was focused on not dying, he didn't have time to think about anything else" WHICH IS JUST??? TRAGIC??? i love him so much. like i love it as a character trait but it seriously makes me just ache for him

not to be all "ooh no one gets him like i do" but NO ONE GETS HIM LIKE I DO. like that's an exaggeration obviously but occasionally i see the wildest takes about him and i'm just like???? did we read the same book??? some of the traits people give him are NOT genuine things he thinks/beleives if that makes sense, like that is the facade that we as the audience are meant to see past and some of us are missing it.

Humming under his breath, Kaz walks with wireless earbuds in, and hands tucked in his jacket pockets. When he really loves a song, Kaz loops it. But with Co-SMOS, he loops the whole album, since every track is so damned good. Mateo and Kaye got him into this band, then it was all downhill from there. At the tap on his shoulder, Kaz glances over curiously-- then goes on to hide early cardiac arrest, because what the actual fuck? This-- this is Yang Jihu? From Co-SMOS? Kaz quickly shoves his earbuds away, and closes out of the music app, so the album art doesn't show on his lockscreen. "Yeah, sure, dude. No problem." Kaz plays it cool, so he doesn't weird out Jihu by fanboying. "Oh, damn." He grins at the familiar address. "That's the best Italian place around here. I'm actually headed that way, so I can take you over there if you want."

(feel free to assume any connections) muse: yang jihu, 25, band member of Co-SMOS, bisexual plot: jihu is on tour with his band and decides to check out so of the tourist attractions where he ends up meeting your muse to ask for help finding a certain restaurant he heard good things about.

Jihu knew he could be directionality challenged at times but this beat all the other times so far. Jihye was gonna tease him about this so much once she found out. He hoped she wouldn't just like the rest of his band members. He looks around, seeing many people walking around to get to their next destination. Maybe one of them could help him out. He catches up to someone he thinks looks the friendliest and gently taps their shoulder. "Sorry, I think I got lost at some point but I wanted to know if you knew where this Italian place is." He shows off the address that he's had searched up on his phone. Hopefully this worked out for him and he wasn't just stranded in the bustling city.
