XIV. Death- Katja Death is the card of the inevitable change that no one could stop, mortality, corruption, but also of sleep, stagnation, destruction of hope. Death rides Pale horse and wields sickle- I think there is no card more appropriate for the Nightmare Rider. Please remember that Death Card very rarely means literal death. The card itself often pictures Grim Reaper with representatives of all classes, and almost always with the royalty present- a bit a'la danse macabre motif. I used the Moorland Lighthouse and the Silverglade Castle to represent Jorvegian classes- but also to reference the older quests with Katja during the Rainbow Event. Colours of course with as little saturation as possible, as Katja would like it. The neon yellow lights is one theme that links all Dark Core cards, just like four stars and pink energy (to represent Sisterhood and Aideen) connects all Soul Riders.

sam nightingale fabian seacaster deeply tethered in the sense that whenever zelda & gorgug broke up i think they both were very emotionally supportive and there for their friend while also having clearly & openly thought the whole time that zelda/gorgug could’ve done better. also they’re both rich popular bards with talking vehicles who got left alone in their big house at the beginning of a school year so there’s that.

So... I'm moving at the end of the month for a PhD program (very exciting), but it turns out that's really fucking expensive, so I'm doing a commissions push! How is the pricing impacted by backgrounds/additional characters?

Complicated props or backgrounds are priced between $7-$25 depending on complexity. Additional characters are 2/3 of the normal price.

Are tips required?

Tips are not required, however they are greatly appreciated. I try my best to keep my prices as low as possible to make my commissions accessible to as many people as possible. A big part of why I am able to do that is due to the generosity that people have shown when it comes to tipping :)

What can I commission?

I’m open to drawing most things you can throw at me.  I won’t do explicit NSFW or heavy gore, and I’m staying away from anthro just because of lack of experience.  But other than that, go nuts!  OCs and existing characters are all perfectly fine.  Complicated props or animals may be charged as a complicated background, and comic commissions are available with pricing upon request.

How do I pay?

I conduct all transactions through PayPal.  That account is the same as my email, katja@62801.  I normally take the full payment up front, but if you are uncomfortable with that we can do it half and half. I would also love it if you could use the PayPal friends and family option, as otherwise PayPal will charge me a fee.

How long will the commission take?

Normally, I am able to finish all commissions within a week of order placement.  If a drawing is taking a particularly long time, I will let you know, and I will always keep you updated throughout the process as much as you like.
